Stop and shop is clean and it is easy to find what you are looking for. The cashiers are fast and friendly.

I have been a customer for over 6 years and my gosh, service has steadily declined! The meat department smells foul and during my last meat purchase I had to return the products because the meat was bad after 2 days. When I brought the meat in the staff who processed the return complained how badly it smelled and she mentioned she only buys meat at Costco because the meat isn’t good there. Now says a lot! I use the pick up service only for each week to return items like fruits and vegetables because they are either spoil or are moldy. And many items are unavailable. It is so inconvenient. Defeats the purpose of the pick up service. And during my most recent return the Manager Fiona told me she would lie that I no longer wanted to use the pick up service because I complain. Why is she managing? And where is the good quality customer service? It is noteworthy that many of the cashiers are friendly and helpful otherwise I prefer elsewhere. It would benefit them to imitate local stores like Shop Rite and Whole Foods on product quality control and customer experience.

This is my favorite SNS. It’s a bit out of the way for me but it’s always clean, well stocked, organized & spacious. The meat section offers a good variety & the meat is nicely presented. They have a large produce section. The customer service is also great. Today they were out of the pint sized 1/2 n 1/2,but I won’t hold that against them- great supermarket.

Always very well stocked. Lots of halal options in the meat section. Always very busy, but they place is clean, and produce is fresh. There’s a good variety of fresh produce.

Purchased lean Pastrami last Thursday and look at what I received for $15. Shoppers beware of the deli clerks strips instead of slices

Meat department selection dropped. Only have prepack meats now. Equipment looks old. Produce rarely stocked Friday nights. Aisles are tight.

Its your best bet in the area. The store is clean and usually well stocked. DO NOT go near the meat counter though. The people working it go so slow they might as well be trying to put meat back onto the slab. This is twice in a week that Ive walked away from it without even getting to order with 1 person before me and 5 people working back there.And this is not really the stores problem but corporate; stop asking me to round up my change at checkout. Pay your taxes and stop using your customers as a write off.

Great store, always clean and their team is friendly although one of their managers (Fiona) is rude and not professional. I have been shopping there for the past 5 years now and that was the first time that I had an issue with one of their employees! But overall, its my favorite supermarket.

Stop and Shop supermarket is definitely a one stop shop. Very convenient, spacious, great staffers, produce and meat section are always fresh and replenish regularly. Organised shelves and labels.Weekly sales items.I have been shopping at the New Hyde Park store for the last 20 years and very satisfied with the yearly savings I made average $600. I highly recommend Stop N Shop hands down.

Wonderful selection of goods: they will have almost everything you need at very fair prices. Just be careful of glitchy self-checkouts and potentially long waits during the evening.

One of the better stores in the chain. No matter what day or time I go there, it seems like I get in and out without having to wait long to check out purchases. Rarely out of stock on things I need. Deli is always busy, but also great service, and they greet customers with a smile. Meat department always have great cuts in their cases, not rinky-dink like a few other stores in the area. Ive never gotten any bad items from the dairy or produce either. A great place to shop, especially if you have a family or just want to stock up! Totally recommend this place! 👍

Awful Customer Service. Purchased a Fortnite Gift Card for my son and it wasnt scratched off yet but when tried to redeem it was invalid. Tried to return it to store and extremely rude associate at service desk refused return/exchange. I even brought photos to prove it would not work. A manager was hanging nearby and said Give him the Number to Black. I went home and called that number and nothing they can do. They gave me Epics Number (the maker of Fortnite) and a recorded message gave me a bunch of BS and nothing resolved. I am now out $25.00 and Stop and Shop still has their No return policy on gift cards. SMH.Follow up to Owners response: Owner does not even address the fact that I was sold a gift card that does not work. I will now file a complaint with NYS Attorney General Office, Division of Consumer Fraud.Follow up: May 21, 2020:Went to NHP Stop and Shop and all Fornite Gift Cards have been pulled from the Gift Card section. If this is not an admission of offering defective merchandise then I dont know what is then. If the Owner who responds to these posts reads this, please do the right thing and authorize a refund of my $25.00. Thank you.Second Follow Up:Store Manager reached out to me and replaced the defective Fortnite Gift Card with a new one. Changing the rating to Five Stars after successful resolution of my complaint. Thanks!!

Had just about everything I needed except some household products

Too much is missing from shelves, some items always out of stock. Often, there is no one to help you.Other stores like King Kullen and Shop Rite are always fully stocked.

Stop & Shop one of the many supermarkets in the area. Prices are very reasonable. Checkout is easy. When we went there was no line to get in but they do require a mask when you go in the store. Melvena the cashier was very polite.

A regular local grocery store....well get everything and like their varieties but not good for fruits...especially mangoes....It was not good at all n no taste....

My local Stop N Shop has closed down. The nearest shipping mall is Food Bazaar. $$$. Rather go a few miles to Stop N Shop.

Great store but they dont seem to care much about the pandemic! People without masks, employees are not around to help and no organization! When they were Edwards, located where old navy is, they were top notch! Food quality is above average. Meat section is well above average. Customer service is lacking during the pandemic which is understandable. Problem i had was the lack of care in keeping us safe. Still a great place to shop during normal times.

There very courteous and knowledgeable

The store doesnt control the number of people admitted in the store like Shop Rite. There were some employees and customers with their masks either pulled down below their noses or completely pulled down and management also does the same or doesnt say anything.

Store is always empty. I understand its covid but other stores are fully stocked these days. The self scanners are always temporarily out of service and many things dont ring up the price the say on the shelf. I dont know if they are misplacing items or what but this location needs alot of help getting things together.

If you want to get authentic products then come here.

By far one of the better stop and shops Ive visited. Everything is so well organized and maintained really well and their selection has a huge variety of items compared to the others Ive gone to. The employess/workers are very well trained, mannerly,and helpful. The one I usually go to by Atlantic ave in Ozone Park should take some notes!

Just an fyi:The wifi in your store needs to be updated; people cant get on to your app when in the store, which is ironic when you ask us to go digital. Also, my phone has never worked in the store.Also, management needs to make up their mind regarding cashier lines. One day there is one line the next there are lane lines. This causes problems between customers.I like your store and have shopped there for years. Oh, l love that you are updating the floor plan and shelving.

Small but carry almost everything the surrounding needs. Very clean and well stocked with best friendly staff to help you with your need.

Its a really big location, nice and clean, lots of parking, and very well organized. Its my new place to food shop thats close to home. I have not tried it out yet but, I found out that you can place a shopping list order on-line or on their stop & shop app. They will pick out/up all the items on your list for you. Bag it all up for you, then all you have to do is pick it up!

Overall it was a good shopping experience but aisles were filled with outside staff setting up & stocking shelves and I had to turn around and go back up the aisle because the aisle was unpassable. That work is best done at night when the store is closed.

The store is always empty. At the height of the pandemic i could understand but every week when we go to this S&S it is empty of canned goods, staples, pickles, foil, paper goods, etc. When i go to the S&S near my job that place is stocked very well. I do not know why this one is not as stocked as the one in Flushing.

Great stop and shop! its huge compared to the rest. The store is always clean and well stocked. There are always associates around to help if you need it. The lines can be a bit long depending on what time you go, but hey its a supermarket and thats to be expected. Parking lot is huge, however there is no cart return area. Despite that, excellent store. I live in Jamaica Queens and bypass all the ones in my neighborhood to come here.

Bring shin guards & shoulder pads. Its full contact no holds barred grocery shopping with the great unwashed masses of the dyaspora that is Western Nassau county.

Eric needs an attitude check so rude. So far this is the second time with having to deal with him and he has so much attitude towards the customers, I like the other ladies that work there but I haven’t seen them in a while. It’s so uncomfortable having to order there because he judges you and gets annoyed if it’s anything complicated. DONT work there if you’re going to have attitude, be greatful I gave you a tip after the way you were acting.

What happened to the cashiers bagging groceries? I think people are lazy and are using Covid as an excuse.

I like how while entering the place they make us keep social distance a d provide with hand sanitizer and things to clean the cart to make the shopping experience safe. Then also the reshuffling of the shelves making it easy to shop for the important things and get out soon due to the redirecting of the checkout lanes.

Prices are going up 😕 otherwise a well organized store to shop at. I like the fact that theres a self check out so i kind of stay away from people. Though they have one way traffic its not really enforced, People walk all over the place.

The worst stop and shop in a 20 mile radius. The past 8 times I’ve been here there are NEVER any carts in the store. They are scattered around the parking lot. Why there are no areas to return the carts is also beyond me. I’m not sure why this is the only stop and shop that makes you scavenger hunt for a shopping cart. I’m also not sure why it’s been weeks and this issue is not resolved already.

I never had any issues here. Close to my home my # 1 spot for my regular day to day groceries. They are open late thats when you have barley anyone around quick in and out

Nice store to get what you need.

They changed the store around so you cant find anything. I would like to meet the store planner so I can smack them in the head to knock some sense in to their heads. There is no flow in the store. It takes an hour to find everything you need. Then another 45 minutes to checkout. Look Shoprite is going to be getting all my business from now on.
