Great customer service and its pretty convenient for food shopping.

Why store would posted hours of operation for customer service booth opens at 8 am when its not? I called night before to ask specifically when customer service booth opens, they clear told me 8 a. m. Stopped by and its closed, did not open at 8:10 neither. I could not wait any longer because have to go to work, as I walked out cashier who was just standing there and was zero help, told me they will be open at 9. Im sorry, I cant stand and wait and guess if they open at 8, 9 or 11, if you opening your department at 9, then post signs with those hours. I work in customer service, I start at 8:30 and if something unforeseen happens, I make sure my message to my customers reflect that. Very disrespectful not to value your customers time.

Large supermarket chain. The store has an array of products and services. On-site bakery department, full-lined delicatessen counter, a butcher shop, and a fresh flower department. One can find most things to cook up a good meal here.With competition from a bargain store like Aldi, this store beefs up its offerings to distinguish itself from this pack.

Sharon, who was working customer service at 10am on October 14, was very rude when i was trying to sign up for a Shoprite membership card she refused to take my military ID. I was surprised because its more up-to-date (its also handier because i use it more often), so I asked why pit of curiosity and after some digging, handed over my drivers license. While she started getting ready to help me with my membership card, i looked over my military ID to figure out what info was missing. I let her know my drivers license address was incorrect (we are advised not to change our licenses or state residences when we move) and she started getting an attitude with me! So I asked again what info she needed from my drivers license that my military ID didnt have because I didnt want her to put my DL number into the system-- I was going to explain that i was worried about identity theft, but she interrupted and said rudely I dont understand why youre mad about using your drivers license instead of your military ID, well change your address later!I wasnt mad, I was just trying to understand and she wasnt answering my question, and her responses were in a very rude tone. So I requested my ID back.I wouldve done the membership registration myself online, but the internet was terrible inside so i asked another employee for help. Wendy was very nice about the situation and handed me a slip of paper to fill out myself. She didnt even ask to see my ID! She gave me a card and i was able to check out within seconds. Thanks Wendy!The rest of the staff was friendly and I loved the shopping experience and selection.

The prices for beef awesome. Everyone is so friendly although it does get a little busy. But Ill still go there

In my opinion Shop Rite is better than Stop n Shop. The selection,prices,and sales are usually better.

This is a well organized store and I must say that the employees were professional & cheerful. My shopping experience here this past week was actually delightful even amid our current pandemic situation. I was impressed by the hostess who had all of the checkout lines running quite efficiently and the girl who checked me out was so pleasant. Also great selections and a very clean store!

Spent a week in new london and needed much in the way of groceries! Store has it all, clean, good prices. Enjoyable place to shop.

Shop from home was great blows Norwich out of the water.

The employees are friendly and helpful. They have good sale prices. Theyre the only store in this area that sells Seagrams Escapes for $1.00 for aSingle bottle. The flavor selection is good. There fresh meats are very good. The prices are very reasonable.

Love the home shopping, very easy & convenient. One exception they list the oranges on sale in the flyer, but when you go to order online they dont show up to select. Two times I had to get my order and still go in for the oranges. Correct that issue and they are golden. This is for Shoprite of Norwich

I buy salmon from shoprite 7 am was very old, soft and smelly.I threw it in garbage and never buy again from ShopRite.

Management has done a great job during Covid caring for the shopper. Store has shelves stocked and I find all necessary products and sales prices are the best. Good meats, veges and bakery, overall I fine this supermarket to be the best in the area(SE CT)

Prices are generally good but the produce is disappointing, the store isnt particularly clean or organized, and the staff isnt all that friendly (Im being polite). After buying meat that didnt smell right on several occasions I gave up. I only stop here for non-perishables if Im in a pinch. Its too bad because ShopRite is the closest grocery store to my house.

No cans for the Can Can Sale. I k ow timing is everything but there should be folks re sticking the shelves.. Good prices for Lobsters .

This place was dirty and unorganized, not to mention the rudest employees I have ever encountered in a grocery store or anywhere else. I would take my business elsewhere if I were you. Would give zero stars if it would let me.

Store hours said 8am to 9pm ! It’s 724pm and I was turn away after I drove 20 min to get Fresh Lobster ! I was told the seafood department was closed before I can even say anything ! This is how you treat your shoppers ? I’ll take my business somewhere else that treat their costumers with respect! Keep up the good work on losing costumer !!!

I especially like the store since they remodel. It seems brighter and makes me want to stay longer. The can can sale is a favorite even though we dont use a lot of that type of food. The produce is just okay. Sometimes its not the freshest. You really have to be knowledgeable to pick out meats there but there are some good values for those in the know. Same goes for the seafood. Its clean and the staff is usually friendly. Easy parking and conveniently located.

I just wish they paid more attention to products when preparing for online orders.

This place is well priced. Has dealt with COVID WELL. The biggest problem with this place is the main entrance. Way too much traffic and too close to plaza entrance. If they were able to move thier entry to the center of the building it should be safer.

Tried their new sushi. Please save yourself some disappointment and get yourself a bag of cheetos instead. The wasabi tasted very plastic and the sushi was completely gummy and flavorless. Worse than the gas station .

Only problem I had is that there was a limit on frozen vegetables. I shop once per month. I had 5 bags all different. I could understand if I doubled up on same veg. Otherwise well organized

ShopRite provides nearly all the necessites one would need with groceries. While some departments have its issues, the overall experience is serviceable. By having a ShopRite card, the experience will be a lot more worth it.

Have great deal and support the local products as well and I think they are doing it rite.

Huge store, but had a hard time finding more healthy or special diet foods like whole grain products.

Hands down my favorite shoreline store. Good employees. Helpful, pleasant. Produce aisle offerings are varied and fresh. Meat and fish comprehensive and well displayed.Best of ALL they keep prices affordable. If they keep this up Ill always shop here.

Fully stocked besides some sanitizer/disinfectant sprays but if you catch them early on certain mornings you will be able to get lysol and Lysol wipes. Very clean and well kept store.

They have the best hamburger around. I buy the 80/20 and usually will ask the butcher to add a bit more fat to it so it is more like 75/25, combined with cooking with lump charcoal on my grill and boy what a difference. I get a lot of compliments on the burgers I make.

For it being 2 days before Thanksgiving the store was well stocked and clean. I found all the items I was looking for, and they even had a smaller package if peppercorns so I didnt have to buy WAY more than I needed. The people were pleasant and helpful.

They should name this store Super ShopRite!!! Because that is exactly what it is! Fully stocked shelves in every department. If you can not find what you need here, its because nobody makes it! This store is so immaculate with its presentation of all products, you would think they were getting ready to do a commercial everyday! This store is well staffed with very available, friendly and helpful personnel. Also their price point and values are a budget minded persons dream! You will always Shop-Right at ShopRite!!!

What a great store. I hadnt been in a while. The employee at the service desk went above and beyond in helping me with downloading your digital coupons.The prices were great as well as the selections. Found everything on my list and then some. My new grocery store.

I really like the prices here. In most cases, essentials are cheaper than Stop and Shop. Shop Rite has way better service than big y any day. Also, their store is always neatly organized. I never have trouble finding what I need.

I recently have started shopping at this store and I absolutely love it 😍 I love the variety of items something you don’t see at Big Y or Stop and Shop it’s either the name brand or their brand 🙄 the produce is always fresh the 🥩 are great and don’t get me started on the seafood 🦞 everything you can imagine if it swims it’s there !!!!!! Kinda convenient, but a bit dirty.

I would not go there if I needed. There are NO SHOPPING CARTS Corral. Carts are hitting cars in the lot. People are just leaving them go and walking away, leaving the carts to roll down and hit cars.

This is a hard one! I love Shop Rite in New London to shop at, but on 2 of my most recent visits their produce w as s horrible! Of course you dont realize it until you get home and open the containers. I choose New London over Norwich because Norwich has a horrible smell in that store!! Norwich staff is great minus this weirdo that follows you around the store usually with a cleaning cart..

Never have the deals I go looking for

Great alternative to the higher priced grocery stores near by. 4 Star because the seafood department smell covers half of the store. Yet this place does carry some brands not even found at either local Walmart.

The sales are usually pretty good. the produce is hit or miss unfortunately. Over all if you shop smart you can save a decent amount of money. The one thing I dont like is that sometimes you have to buy 5 of 1 item to get the sale price. I dont always have the money to stock up.

The lady at the courtesy booth was so mean to me I will never shop there again. Byers beware. When I called the general manager to complain about her no one ever picked up. Stay away. Spend your money somewhere else.

Shop Rite has the best setup during this pandemic. The lines move quickly and the employees are always very helpful and nice.

Most of the workers didn’t have their masks on and the ones that did have masks on had the down with their noses sticking out. They were also kind of rude to us when we went to check out.

Pretty good selection of veggies and meats. Definitely have good meat prices compared to other supermarkets. Not the newest place but thats not really a huge deal in my book.

My experience with shop Rite of New London Ct was not good at all there was only 2 registers open and one was Express only the only other lane had 30 or more people waiting with full carts waiting to cash out and I am handicap and was the end of the line it was not good at all icecream was melting people walking out leaving full carts at the line it was a mess plus the thing with bags was another horror. We were bagging our own things with bags we took from home and there was no room at all to pack just a small circle where bags used to hang all and all Im done going to ShopRite of New London .

I ran in right before closing and they were so polite and friendly. I know being last minute is awful but I needed something on my way home from work and it was the only place open I. the area and they didnt seem to mind.

Excellent very wide selection of everything you expect in a supermarket plus many ethnic choices that offer full variety.Large selection of produce baked goods seafood meats and prepared foods to go and eat at home. One of the best and largest selections of hummus that I have seen in a supermarket. All this and more at very good competitive prices

Good food selection. Very slow through the lines and somehow, it always seems like they put the slowest cashiers on the express lane. Doesn’t help that customers are always trying to use invalid coupons or argue about price checks
