Made an appointment they never showed so I called and apparently they never even put me in the system for an appointment. So made an appointment with another lady They were supposed to show up 7:30 on their way Now we have been without heat for over a week again they didnβt show Called them again and they said he had an emergency will be late Finally got here he was very polite and when he left he said he hoped it worked. So far had to reset twice within and hour This problem has been going on for the last two years Not sure what to do π©. Another tech came still not working right furnace stayed on all night built up fumes and was very hot had to shut it down tech even said not sure what to do??? Me neither!! Update again for the the last timeβ¦hopefully this is going to work sent out Justin and he figured out the problem βso far so good β

I had service technician Tony T. visit today 8/9/2021 for a routine boiler inspection. Im a first time customer/first time homeowner and was treated with the greatest respect even though I am a novice with such utilities. Tony was very honest about the current set up the previous owners had and took the time to answer all questions I had while he was performing the inspection. He made me understand that my unit was in decent shape and posed no harm to my family, but did recommend to update our current system which I will be looking into now. Very thankful to have had him visit our house and can only hope I continue to do business with people like him in the future.
I have been a loyal customer for well over 25 years. They are very responsive to service calls and oil deliveries. I recently renewed my 2021-22 oil price contract and worked with their Product Specialist, Brenda. She was very courteous, professional and thorough. We closed the deal for this coming heating season.

I signed a budget contract with DDLC last Thursday. My credit report was pulled, account opened, the whole nine yards. Today (Monday) when I was supposed to get my first fill, I was informed that they wouldnt be filling my tank because I have copper pipes. I was neither informed of this or asked about it PRIOR to my credit report being pulled. There is also nothing mentioned about copper pipes in the contract I signed. To say Im incredibly disappointed is an understatement since I have multiple family members (who all have copper pipes!) that use DDLC for their oil deliveries.
I called because my yearly contract was up and I spoke with Brenda and she renewed my contract quick and easy. Was very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with.
DDLC Energy staff are friendly and very helpful. I like that I can get oil delivered with out making appointments and have a monthly budget. Ive had them for over a year with out any issues and they also service my furnace once a year.

I wish I could give zero starsJust run away from this company and never allow their incompetent techs into your house! They broke off the water heater shut off and had to turn our main water supply off for 5 days then presented us with a $5000 estimate to replace a hot water heater. Followed by a $180 bill for breaking the shut off valve!
It was nice talking to Shawna. I tried to explained about my problem regarding my acct. My service maintenance was due and the late fee was added. I asked her to waive the late fee and and she said that it will be removed once they received the payment. Very respectful!

Ed, the DDLC service technician, has worked on our equipment for years, so he knows it well and inspires trust in us. For todays AC tune up he went abovd and beyond to do everything possible to fix the system and get it running. He even helped explain the issues involved to my landlord. Even though the system will need to be replaced, I was pleased because I know he cares about his work and his customers so all avenues were explored. DDLC is so well-served to be represented in public by Ed.
Had a question about the price per gallon I was charged according to the delivery slip. My question was answered quickly and to my satisfaction by a very pleasant customer rep.
Im been a DDLC customer for 5 years in RI. They are an honest company. I just wish they would not charge me $11.00 bucks a month for 2 tank rentals. Many other places dont charge this. Also the past year I had to call when tanks were low. They are supposed to monitor this. Its October 2 2020. My tanks are at 9 percent. I have to call again for fill. Crazy. But customer service is friendly. Prices are fair.

Yesterday, Fri 21 Feb 2020, I contacted DDLC Energy and spoke to Christine Allen (Customer Care rep) regarding a Loyalty Service Contract Offer I had received by email. Christine was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the details of a great discount offer on the annual service contract for long time customers like myself, which I accepted. Its very nice of DDLC Energy to reward their long time customers in this way. While on the phone I asked about any options that might be available to reduce the price of my oil. Due to her extensive knowledge and expertise she was quickly able to review my account and clearly explain 3 options available. I accepted the discounted rate variable option, which seemed best for me at this time. Its nice to know Im getting a good price for my oil and to be reminded of the options available. Christine gave me good advice to pay close attention in the future to DDLC Energy correspondence that will notify me of these options and changes. Over many years DDLC Energy has always kept oil my oil tank and my furnace repaired/maintained to run in top condition. Great job to Christine and DDLC Energy. Keep up the good work!

DDLC has been our oil provider and service company since 2001. The company has worked well with us regarding scheduling service and helping with a payment plan when I wasnt working. The best example excellent service is when a man arrived to fix a heating problem in the winter. He had worked all day yet still came to us, arriving at 10:30 pm and leaving after midnight. He also serviced our air conditioning a few times. The company is highly recommended by us.

Have been a customer for many years, with 3 different homes. Just recently moved and switched and kept them as clients because I was always happy with them. I was eligible for heating assistance this year for a one time fill up with good neighbor and it has been an absolute nightmare. I have called so many times to make sure I am doing my part and not owning them any money and Iβm told I am all set. I get collection calls from them and late fees on my account. During a national crisis where companies are coming together to help families, DDLC is calling people for money. I have been doing my do diligence to make sure I pay what I owe and my calls are either ignored and not returned or Iβm told Iβm all set. π€’ Go somewhere else where they value your business and loyalty.
Friendly and great service.
Poor customer service. Waited four hours for company to arrive only to be told they would not deliver oil. Took several calls and emails to get the money I had already paid them returned. My calls were placed on hold and I was told that nobody was working that could authorize the return of my funds. Look around - there are other companies that offer better service and pricing.
Veronica was very helpful explaining why we now have two accounts, and how I can add one account in with the other. I think were all set.
Had an unexpected situation where I was low on oil and when I called DDLC had blocked the future oil delivery. The lady I worked with was very helpful and the underlying cause was rectified. So that part we fine. The aggravating part was that my latest billing information showed needed payment would be made before the due date and I received no alert notification of the oil delivery block decision that had been made. If I had not called I would have run out of oil. Poor proactive customer alert process on their part to notify customers of an issue and proactively get it addressed

Zac arrived promptly for a furnace inspection and cleaning. I complained to him about the rattling, noisy pipes caused by air in the system. He immediately spotted a problem with the units auto water fill feature. He drained 10 gallons or so from the boiler, explained the problem to me, and assured me it was resolved. Zac represents another in a long line of superb DDLC service technicians. Over the years, Ive had emergencies in December, January and February at all hours. The companys service technicians have never failed me! On several occasions, I briefly thought of changing oil companies for cheaper pricing. But, it always comes back to one consideration--dedicated and customer-loyal service technicians! Thank you guys!

So disappointed in this company. They were great the first 2 years we had them. On Christmas morning we woke to a cold house. Called DDLC at 9am and was told by the answering service that they would return our call as soon as possible. Needless to say my christmas guests left due to no heat or hot water. So much for them advertising that they have computerized equipment to make sure you never go without heat. And thanks for offering NEW customers 2.58 per gallon, when he existing customers are forced to pay 4.19 what a joke.
