I was just about to leave for MA when my low air light went on. Stopped by my New Milford Mavis where I asked the staff to take a look. They quickly put my car on the lift, check all the tires, added some air and I was good to go. They also explained that the air pressure in my tires dropped due to a drop in temperature.The service was greatly appreciated

Pulled into Mavis needing air in all my tires. Wasn’t sure exactly how much air was needed, in each tire. Although an air machine is placed on the side of the building, Matthew an awesome worker was working on a car and stopped what he was doing to place air in my tires! He was very professional and helped me get all tires aired. This was very kind of him to do because I had no idea what I was doing! Great experience; took about a half hour to patch a hole due to a nail in my tire.Only downside: When I got in I was told by the guy that he was the only one and he’d get my car in as soon as possible, then left to go work on the cars without asking me what was wrong with my tires.I thought since there were other cars there that he would work on my car last and then come back to talk to me but he started to work on mine immediately.With that being said, I wasn’t able to tell him about a possible leak in another one of my tires and he told me “I wish you would’ve told me that before”, yet when I first got into the shop he didn’t ask me what was wrong.I also requested a tire rotation online when I scheduled my appointment and it wasn’t done. Perhaps my tires didn’t need to be rotated but they didn’t inform me of that either.Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

From the moment I pulled in, the folks at Mavis Tire in New Milford were consummate professionals and very helpful. I had a run flat tire that was, well, running flat and needed repair or replacement. The folks at Mavis hopped on the case and although they didnt have a tire in stock, they helped me troubleshoot a solution. I didnt end up getting a new tire but I will remember the kindness and prompt attention in the future should I ever have any tire needs. These folks are great.

These men literally SAVED my life!! I drove from Pa to CT for a mini vacation and ran into tire issues. I called them up, they weren’t sure if they would be able to help me in my timeframe but said to bring it over to make sure I was safe! I brought it over and they did indeed fix it and I drove home with my kids knowing I was safe! They are the friendliest, most helpful group of guys!! If your in CT you must go to them for any work they do! They are the best!!

Tom was amazing and squeezed me in to see if there was a leak in my wife’s rear left tire. Even though he was jammed, he made the time to examine the tire and let us know there, in fact, was no leak!!!Great work and sincere appreciation!!!

Service was fantastic. Nice guys. I called in just as they were closing and they still said i should pop by. So I did, they worked on my tire immediately, and were done within 10 minutes. They saved me a ton of hassle by taking care of it right there and then. Definitely recommend.

When given a time frame they said an hour, which I was happy with seeing as I was a drop in! I was happy that they could take me and get the job done so quickly. A few weeks ago, my tire pressure light came on. I had just had my winter snows changed over at a different tire center. Since I was very close to Mavis, I went there. With no appointment, I still received excellent service! Juan was very professional and helpful. All of my tires were under-inflated. Juan took care of all of that. I will definitely be going there when it’s time to switch back to winter tires!

Juan is great! He’s very knowledgeable and has the experience to answer concerns or questions so you can get the right tire. I highly recommend and will return next time around.

I had a terrific experience here. I took my Subaru Outback in for a four wheel alignment and they took me first thing in the morning and had me in and out within 45 minutes. Their alignments come with a 90 day warranty, which I think is fantastic, and they are cheaper than the Subaru dealership. They even explained to me how the alignment machine works and were completely transparent about the process. Everyone is very friendly too!

Everyone at Mavis is courteous and prompt. I brought in some tires for a mount and balanced and they helped me out right away.Definitely recommend their service, and I’ll be coming back for all my tire related purchases.

I cant explain how bad this place is!1st time they kept my truck for a whole day then told me they cant get it on their lifts to change the tires.Next experience I dropped off trailer tires to be changed they said no problem kept them for a day then called me and said they only have three of them so when I came to pick up the three of them and leave on my trip they werent even mounted yet.Both times I was told by managers we will call you right back after we get the status. I have never received a phone call from them hours go by and I call them every time just to be misinformed.I will never go to a Mavis Tire shop again oh, they hire the worst unqualified people

I have used Mavis in the past and have had only great experiences. I drive alot for my job and if my tires have an issue I call and they make room for me to come in to take care of it same day. The workers are professional and highly knowledgeable. If you need high quality work and need it done fast call up Mavis and you will not be disappointed.

I had an appointment that was ignored. I told them I was on a time constraint and was told that I would be taken care of immediately. Not only was it not immediate, it has actually been 2 hours so far past the time. I am still waiting. This is my first review. Do not use this place. I only gave it one star because it wont let me post otherwise.

I bought four new tires through Amazon for my f-250 and scheduled them to be installed at 10am. When arriving I had to wait for about 20 minutes just to drop my truck off (no big deal)I was told that it would be about 4-5 hours for services to be complete. (Which is crazy for 4 tires but I said okay so around 2-3my truck should be ready). At 3 I call to see if they are done or close to it to make my way back pick up my truck. They tell me no I’m sorry we haven’t gotten to it do you need your truck tonight. Well yes of course I do it’s my vehicle which I thought would of been done by now. My husband then calls around 4 (mind you they close at 5) to see how everything is going. They tell him 4:30 my truck will be done. So I make my way over around 4:30. I get there my truck is on a lift with no tires and no one working on it. I go inside to ask what’s going on. The guy at at the front desk tells me that my tires are too heavy and they don’t have enough people working today so it’s taking them a lot longer, then he tries to patronize me by saying that I need to understand the automotive business. Sir you have one job here and it’s to change tires. Sorry if the tires are heavy but you have had my truck since 10am and I scheduled an appointment. He was extremely rude. He then said that he could put the tires in and not balance them. Why would anyone ever want that! To even offer that as an option is absurd! At 5:45 they finally finished. He then told me he wasn’t charging me for the extra services (an alignment and new valve stems) I now question if they even did this service because I received no paper work ( my fault I was in a rush to get home to my two babies) so now I need to call and even ask if I received an alignment and new valve stems . So frustrating!! They truly do not care about people’s time here!My advice would be they need to start taking care of people who make appointments. There is a reason why they make an appointment in the first place. Time is valuable.

These jokers told me it would take a half hour for a tire rotation. Two hours later they haven’t touched the car, and when I asked for the keys back, they had the audacity to tell me I didn’t give them the keys and then doubled down when I insisted I had. No apologies or words exchanged when they inevitably found my key. Absolute clown show, avoid at all costs.

Very poor business practices. DO NOT RECOMMEND! They had me drop off my car twice for a full day each time without even having the tires in stock when both times they were claimed to be there by different people. I had my winter tires swapped out, and when they were done, they told me I was all set without even giving me the winter tires back. They also put the new tires on incorrectly and had to get them switched and stripped a lug nut so I had to leave my car there for a third day. I am completely shocked that one simple transaction could have so many mistakes!

Awful experience. Gave me the runaround for a month. Kept ordering my tires (allegedly) and sending them back while making me drive up for appointments. Waste of time and effort.

I picked up a 2.5 inch wall screw center tread and they repaired it in 30 mins for $16.50. Great guys thanks again, will recommend to anyone.

Today could have been a really bad day with a really poorly timed flat tire...that is until I pulled into Mavis. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is in need of what they can provide.

The men at Mavis are awesome. (This is for the location at New Milford, CT.) I love going there so much for tires and related Items. I drive right past my normal mechanic who is only a mile from my house and drive another two miles to go to Mavis. While I am there waiting they really treat me well, and I can get all sorts of work done on my laptop, like I did today. The atmosphere is so conducive to working while waiting: Theres no yelling, cursing or loud music, just a very professional atmosphere. Today I wanted to give a special shout out to Tos and Troy. They are both so professional. I imagine that they will both be getting promoted soon. (Theyll be missed.) I also couldnt help overhearing Tos as he took care of other customers. He is so good with them and has a special ability to put the customer at ease. (I wish I was like that.)Mavis, whatever you do to train your employees, it is highly effective.Thanks so much! GREAT LOCAL SPOT FOR TIRE REPAIRS ! !

They have always met the best advertised price of any other vender in the area. Ive purchased at least 16 sets of tires from them over many years. Service is always good. They fit me in on the day a 16 inch snow storm was hitting, working late to keep their word. Manager Eric treats customers with professionalism and respect. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else for tires.

So, they are really understaffed but you can’t fault the people the work there for that. They really do their best to get your car finished when you need it back by a certain time. Also will do their best to give you a good price. I feel bad because the times I’ve been in there the customers can been pretty abusive. If you’re nice to them, they’re nice back.

So thankful for the service provided to my car here at mavis discount tire in new Milford. Troy was very helpful with changing my oil and replacing the sensors in my car. Thank you!

Best tire experience EVER!! Dondre is the best customer service agent Ive experienced at a tire shop or anything to do with car service for that matter! He made sure I was able to get home with a rental car, that they paid for, when it looked like my wait time was going to be longer than expected. Amazing customer service!! such great staff!

First of all, I rarely write bad reviews because I tend to be understanding of the challenges some places can face while dealing with customers. This shop however, is one that deserves such a bad review for the following reason:I bought 6 tires from Amazon to be installed at Mavis. I paid through Amazon and I had scheduled an appointment to get the first 4 tires installed on my SUV on a Monday at 1 P.M.. Upon arriving at the location, there was one customer in the lobby and there was only one guy at the front who was not wearing a mask as I walked in; he later covered his mouth with a bandana. I told him I had an appointment and he said they were too busy that day and that there was a huge line ahead of me. He called his manager and the guy straight told me if I wanted to reschedule without even apologizing (yeah buddy - as if my time is not important, I didnt have a job and I have nothing better to do). I did not receive a courtesy call to let me know that they could not fullfill the appointment. I had to drive all the way to the shop, waste my time, and then be told that they were too busy to install my tires. Why allow your customers to schedule an appointment if you are gonna be incompetent and not let them know ahead of time that you cant install the tires on that day? Customers pick specific times and dates for a reason when scheduling an appointment.Furthermore, I requested a refund through Amazon on 12/1 as I am not willing to give my money to a place that lacks professionalism and common sense. Amazon sent a UPS truck to pick up the tires the following day from their place and as expected - they did not give UPS the tires they were supposed to return and they kept them.I have contacted Amazon to let them know of their incompetency and lack of professionalism. Hopefully Amazon will re-evaluate who they have as business partners.

They charged me an extra $120 Do not go here! I made a reservation online, chose the tires and locked it in at $291(plus tax). When It came time to pay I was told it was $421(plus tax). I said to the manager there that must be impossible because my locked in reservation says $291. He said well the doesn’t include the balancing in the online reservation. When I responded with no one called me to notify me that my bill would increase he turned to the guy running the counter and said handle this I’m going to lunch and left. In addition to being ripped off by mavis discount tire I made a reservation for 10am. When I dropped my car off I asked how long and I was told about 2 hours. I went home and waiting 2.5 hours and called them to check on the status( I hadn’t received a call yet) and I was told it’s going to be another 45 min. I waiting another 1.5 hours because I didn’t want to get stuck waiting in the lobby and when I got dropped off my car was still on the lift and had to wait another 20 min. TO RECAP THE CHARGED ME AN EXTRA $120 AND IT TOOK 4.5 HOURS TO GET MY TIRES CHANGED. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE THEN HERE.

Had a large screw in my tire. I called and they suggested I come at 1:00. I was there a little early they took the car in within 10 minutes, repaired the tire and rotated them for free. I ate lunch across the street and was on my way shortly after. Communicating directly with the store is definitely the way to go. I’ve had two sets of tires put on two cars and would definitely return.

I was very pleased with my quick service and left feeling confident the work was performed professionally... all my questions answered... New manager, Mark, was excellent as well as the other employee (didnt get his name) who spoke with me regarding my service as well... I will return again...

My last visit my tire was losing air and I thought I ran over a nail, they said they didn’t find any punctures but did a bead reseal just incase (and charged me for it) Came out in the morning and my tire is flat!! I called and they said to bring it in the next morning. I made child care arrangements to get there, only to be told I’d have to leave my car (which I wasn’t prepared for) or they said wait time would be few hours. Why tell me to bring it in then???? I left and went down the road to another shop to have my tire repaired correctly. I think Mavis should cover my costs and compensate for the aggravation!!

Ordered tires on a Monday for a Saturday appointmentFound price match, called corporate to get price adjusted after finding a lower priced dealCalled next day, sales said their computer was having issues and they would match the price.Called next day and found out price was matched incorrectly as tires are staggered and have different prices for front and rear, also found out they placed an order for 4 rear tires instead of staggered.Called next day, shop picked up, notified me of 4 of the same tires, told met to call sales.. called sales no one picked up.Called next day to cancel appointment/order from frustration and lack of customer service, found out with the new staggered order -- Mavis would be unable to mount the tires (one day before appointment); employee at shop stated price match is not possible even though it was done previously incorrectly.Wasted time, lost other deal and had awful experience.(this was a 1600$ sale)Screenshot below shows a way cheaper deal online for the staggered set. Even with installation, hazard and alignment it comes out cheaper.

The best people in town ..!!

I sat there in the waiting area for one hour and twenty minutes only to have them come tell me that they only have two of the four tires that they head told me were in stock. They asked if I wanted them to put two on and then leave and come back when they get the other two. No apology, nothing.I left and went back when they called and had all four tires put on. They said they would check the alignment and let me know if it needed anything but they just went ahead and did the alignment anyway. Again no apology and no offer to discount anything.

Great service. They got my tires in quickly. Erick was outstanding.

I made an appointment for 11am - I got 2 e-mails (plus a phone call) confirming my appointment for 2 tires I selected online. I get there at 11am he tells me the tires I ordered are not in yet. Huh? So he talks me into 2 (more expensive) tires plus wipers plus I sign up for a credit card. He says there is a 3 hour window for getting the work done. I walk to a nearby diner. I eat lunch & return at 1:45pm and my car has not yet been worked on. I ask for my keys back and leave.

Bryan suggested new wipers, which I needed, along with a few other suggestions for next time around. Never pushy! Always super friendly!

People here were very nice. Problem I had was the price I was quoted over the phone was $100 less.

My tire pressure light came on after going over debris from the storm Isaias, worried I might have a puncture I went to Mavis to see if they could check it out. They thoroughly inspected my car and determined the pressure was just low enough to set off the sensor they topped off the pressure and I was good to go. They spent about an hour checking my car their service was free, what a pleasant surprise 😊👍
