Dropped in with no appointment and Dimitri was very helpful and accommodating. Found a time for me later in the day, did quality work, communicated everything clearly and provided excellent customer service! Such a great experience; when I picked up my vehicle I scheduled another appointment. Will be my go-to mechanic from now on.

I posted this to Yelp but figured I should post to google reviews too.Best shop in New Milford. Any time I’ve had an issue with my car Dimitri has been able to diagnose and fix it. Whether it was the heat not working in my Buick Lacrosse which needed the thermostat changed, the alternator needing to be replaced in my Ford Contour, or more recently my car being very loud while driving which needed the catalytic converter, central pipe, and shocks needing to be replaced in my Juke. All of which I was able to wait while the work was being done. Any thing I’m not able to fix myself I 100% trust Affordable Automotive to fix it. Plus all the work I’ve had done there was reasonably priced. So if you haven’t checked them out yet I definitely suggest it. They also do oil changes if your just looking to scope it out and there’s nothing wrong with your car. Thank you again!-Kris

This is our first experience at Affordable. They are honest and straightforward. The scope of work was clearly defined and the costs explained before the work was done. There were no surprises and the work was completed quickly and the quality is exceptional . They use quality parts (a tad more expensive up front ) but I know we dont need to worry about future failures. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been going to Affordable for a few years now and they are honest, fairly priced, and fast! Tyler and the owners are all very helpful. I would recommend to anyone in the New Milford area!

I have used Affordable Automotive for many years to maintain our two vehicles. My parents and sister also have their vehicles maintained by Affordable. I find them to be both personal and professional. The one thing you want from any mechanic is honesty. Over the years, I have brought vehicles in for one reason or another and they have come back without repairs because what I thought was a problem wasnt. I have even switched to Affordable for routine maintenance like oil changes because I feel like they are doing a better job at keeping an eye on my vehicles. Every time we went to a large chain oil change shop we would get a list of other things we needed right now. Dimitri will say things like, your brake pads will probably need to be address at your next oil change. I would highly recommend them.

I brought in my vehicle with a busted rear strut. The car did have some rust issues that I was aware of, and they did clear it up with me before working on the car. However, when they put the new strut onto the car, a few miles later the strut tower busted out from the frame making the car unsafe to drive and making it a pointless repair. They did NOT make it clear to me that the rust on the vehicle was that bad or else I would not have given them the okay to do the repair.I must give some credit though! The owner was very generous and kind and worked with me knowing the circumstances. He reimbursed me for a good portion of what I paid. Im sure the work he did was fine. He was very understanding and generous about giving money back, how many mechanics would do that?! I am only giving 3 stars because they should have given me a call back about the rust issues in the first place if they ever thought it was that bad to begin with. I would go back here again after my experience.

I was referred to Affordable Automotive by a trusted relative who knows a lot about cars, and they far exceeded my hopes. Dimitri was honest, kind, and explained the problem I had asked him to diagnosis clearly enough for me to understand. Both their service and the appointment booking were fast and friendly.
