I made the mistake of purchasing a jeep patriot with a salvage title. It is the bane of my existence. I have taken it to cresent auto twice and each time they were super nice, quick and seemed honest & not trying to add unnecessary things to the bill. They even put my license plate on without asking/charging. (I couldnt find screws to put it on properly) Id recommend them to anyone

I love this place. Ive been going here since 1998. Most honest, friendly group of mechanics Ive ever met. They work fast and clean. Good communication, they always return my calls. All were wearing masks and a plexiglass partition, so you feel safe. Id never go anywhere else.

These guys know their stuff and are honest about recommending service and repairs when it makes sense. Pro tip: Start getting them to do your oil changes, and you’ll have a real mechanic inspecting your engine and the underside of your vehicle every 3000 miles. (They can help you catch things before they break!) Always fair prices on parts and labor, and get work done fast. Don’t go to a franchise or “quickie” drive-thru with your investment. Crescent City Auto is local and family owned...you can trust them to keep your vehicle in great shape and driving like new.

Fixed part well but caught them lying about labor charges. Claimed 2 hours and dash cam proves only 45 minets. Hope my credit card declining will be a lesson to them.

We have bought 2 different vehicles from here and both are good cars today. The service is fantastic. We had been to many car lots and all of them were way to strong on selling. Here they gave us time to think and decide what would work best for us. They did push or rush at all. The financing we got was also amazing. This car lot is on I will always recommend. Moved down to New Orleans and was looking for a new mechanic. Found Crescent City Automotive by chance and have been using them ever since. They do amazing work for a very reasonable price and their customer service is great. They treat you like an actual customer, not just a number. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent!They performed a maintenance, replaced pads and rotors, repaired A/C, and replaced links, ball joints, and control arms..They had everything repaired by the following day! Prices are very fair and itemized on the receipt.

Honest and trusting. It is hard to find auto places that genuinely want to give you the best service and price. I recently had an issue with my car and was told by PEPBOYS they couldn’t do anything I needed to go to dealership. I brought in my suv on Friday afternoon to Matt Bower Ford on veterans and lady that helped me said they would get me a quote by Monday. I called and called on Monday and it was finally at 530pm that she answered and said they weren’t done looking at it and tomorrow they call with estimate. She call and says it is gear shift and it is going to cost me $840 dollars for parts and labor. Plus they recommend I change fluid and coolant for another $450 for total of $1290. I about fell out my chair bc the car is 2007 and not even sure it was worth it. I call my dad Andy uncle who is a mechanic in Florida and they both said shop around. I called Crescent City Auto first as I used them last year and they were quick and gave me good price and got me back on road. I call and explain what’s going on and he says if it is gear shift it will be $375 all in. How do you go from $840 at Ford dealership to $375. And you wonder why people hate to take their cars in to get repairs because some places will ripe you off. Crescent City Auto took a look at it some day and called me back and said gear shift wasn’t problem it was break light and also say my dip stick was stuck and to replace both parts and labor $191. And it will be ready tomorrow. I can’t thank you enough for your honesty, fair price, and efficiency. If you have any repairs take it to Crescent City Auto off Magazine they will make you believe that there are good auto repair shops.

Dont go here...They will scam you...Brought my car there because of a weird noise...said it needed a new a/c blower...supposedly installed it and when I went to pick up car they charged me $100 more then they quoted me. Plus, car still had the same noise and brought back and when mechanic drove car with me of course, noise didnt show up until I started home again. Was not taking my car back there again. Just came back from the Toyota dealership to get another a/c blower installed. The dealership said the blower part was used and not new and not installed properly...Plan on suing them with smalls claims court for both costs...Calling BBB and blasting them on reviews, so hopefully, other people will not be scammed as I was...
