I sat here outside and had breakfast and an iced coffee. The breakfast was good. Traditional breakfast with an extra efg and fruit instead of bread. iced coffee to go along with it. This spot in the quarter is quiet in the mornings so one can eat outside basically undisturbed. They sell espresso and other flavored coffee drink in a more upbeat atmosphere. I do recommend

I was impressed with this cozy coffee bar. The design is very cool with the exposed brick and overall design. The coffee was also prepared well and it was apparent the staff knew what they were doing. They were also super friendly and welcoming which added to the overall experience. I ordered the coffee mocha and it was not too sweet from the chocolate. Overall, this is a great place to drop in and have a cup of Joe, they have plenty of seating.

Cozy and chill atmosphere, suitable for bringing a laptop along.The greek yogurt granola was delicious but I wasnt impressed by the espresso, and the dark roast coffee tasted burnt. The cheesecake was ok.Overall its an interesting place that needs to take a little extra care of its coffee, especially when its being called an espresso bar.

The best coffee I had so far in New Orleans.The omlette was fresh and good as well.Ive been to 5 different highly ranked coffee and breakfast places in the French quarter. This was by far the best one. They know how to make Espresso the European way :).

The vibe of this place is relaxed and cool, with warm and friendly baristas and some great food and drink! If you like chai lattes, definitely get one here - its the perfect mix of spicy, creamy, and sweet. We got the avocado omlette and the French toast. The French toast is pillowy soft and delicious, and the avocados in the omlette were perfectly ripe. Their biscuits use vegetable shortening rather than from an animal source, so if youre a purist be aware. Im not sure its worth the price but it was surely good food. Id recommend giving them a try.

Super friendly staff assist you at this local coffee shop. The environment is clean and bright. In addition to coffee, they offer a variety of breakfast fare and appears to be a pretty full bar (as any proper NOLA establishment would). And they have a great AC unit which is super helpful on a hot summer morning. This is a definite stop for anyone, especially those looking for something a step (or several steps) up from Starbucks.

Love this place!! The workers were SO kind and friendly. They went above and beyond in customer service. Perfect location in French quarter and the food was delicious! We got the veggie omelet and French toast and they were both amazing! Definitely coming here again next time we go to Nola

Great little coffee place

Hands down the best coffee in the city. Other places are good, but Envie is the champion. They have taken the spot as my go to place for my lunch break. Not only does their coffee taste like the best coffee I’ve had in my life. Their staff is composed of the most friendly people I’ve encountered in the city. If Steven and Molly are there you’re in for a treat and you will definitely leave with a smile. The other members of their crew are very heartwarming as well. Do yourself a favor and go here. For those that don’t like coffee they also have tea, and alcohol if you’re feeling wild. If you’re hungry they even have a nice variety of different meals as well as a wonderful atmosphere.

I really enjoyed our visit, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the coffee was even better. This is a great local coffee place. Also BACON, their bacon was amazing, perfectly cooked. Will definitely recommend this place, and will be returning next time we are in town.

Awesome local place with great coffee and simple food. Carrot cake was yummy. And they have milk alternatives (almond or soy) for those of us who cannot have dairy. Helpful and nice employees, fun atmosphere, A+ from me!!

More of a coffee shop than a cafe. The coffee and drinks were awesome. Their breakfast fare was not bad, but if you are looking for a lavish brunch you might want to keep walking.

Very nice coffee and good food. The food is a bit pricey and the service a bit slow when they get busy, but otherwise, its a nice stop. Id also suggest cutting down the air conditioning when people are dressed for the warm weather. It was quite cold inside.

This is such a lovely and quaint restaurant. It has a hipster-like college café feel. Its a very friendly and open environment. The workers, the customers, the ambiance all gave a happy vibe. And the food was fantastic, nice portion sizes and all. I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment. I absolutely recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch, and/or coffee.

First of all, delicious coffee. We also enjoyed the veggie omelet, avocado omelet, and greek voyurt with fruit. Well prepared, healthy and delicious.

Lox and bagel, cookies, and coffee were delicious here. We had breakfast several times here. The staff was always warm and welcoming. Small quaint little place. If you get a chance to sit by the windows it’s great people watching.

Beautiful coffee here. We turned up about 9pm on Christmas Eve and it was still open! My latte was perfect, too often have I received a bitter coffee but this was just right. My wife had a cappuccino and she said she hadnt enjoyed one so much in such a long time. I really wanted to try some of their cakes but wasnt hungry enough. Next time I will :)

Nouveau French Quarter chic coffee shop. Rustic environment with art referencing the cities history and culture. This spot has booth and coffee table seating and a quaint breakfast and dinner menu with in house made pastries, cakes and pie that are all delicious.

The food sounded unique and different than the norm so I wanted to try it... I would say the quality wasnt all that great but the service was fast and friendly. I got the asparagus omelet and only had 2 whole pieces of asparagus and the prosciutto seemed like microwaved bacon.

Cute little spot for a break from the rain. Coffee was fine, espresso was a bit bitter, over-roasted, but not as bad as somewhere like Starbucks. Though we didnt eat, the pastries looked appetizing. Barista with pink hair was super nice and friendly!

I was disrespected by an employee on my visit today, who also had a bad attitude . I ordered a small iced Chai, and it was too weak, so I asked the lady if she could put more chai in it, which she did. It was still kind of weak, so I asked for a little more chai, and she must have put a lot more in (then maybe 1 pump or whatever), because then it was way too strong. So after sipping on it for a little while, I went back up there, and asked the guy who I ordered the drink from if he would add just a little bit of milk to the drink, and he had a really bad attitude about it, and then after he brought it back to me, he says Next time, order a Large. As if I was trying to scam them out of some free extra Chai, which is not true. Very rude,you and unprofessional worker (who needs to learn, that the customers satisfaction should be top priority, and to not judge people based on their appearance). Anyways, I felt very disrespected by the guy. l will never return to Envie cafe again. Me and my mother have given them a lot of business in the past, but we will never return again. The same worker (big guy with a nose ring) was kind of rude to my mother the last time we were there too, making noises at her to hurry her to get her coffee. The lady working there was very nice though, but the guy is a complete 1st class jerk. Will never be returning.

Great omelette, fast service, good coffee. It was a challenge to find a brunch place that I could eat at without a wait and this place was super fast and delicious!

I came in a few days ago with a six drink order and they happened to be out of drink carriers— I had about a 10min walk so I for sure couldn’t carry them all— and one of the baristas (shoutout to Kate) went above and beyond to find a box I could use and secured it with all the drinks. She had an awesome attitude and I could tell she was genuinely happy to help. People don’t always go the extra mile but I am thankful for experiences like this when they do! Great customer service, I will definitely be back.

I went there couple of times while I was attending a conference. Their breakfast and coffee were wonderful. The only reason why I am giving them 4 stars is because they took ages to serve the lunch I had ordered the 2nd time I was there and the staff didn’t care to apologize or anything like that!! And whatever I asked was also not well made! I think I asked for a vegetarian panini.
