I don’t even want give them a star. Every time I go in to get a poboy, they’re closed. Ans today I went in on my lunch break and the deli looked open, I sat there for abt 3 mins before a RANDOM guy had to tell me they were closed. The lady at the register watched me sit there and she laughed at me and she didn’t even have a mask on. They need a sign up that says the deli is closed or something Bc I wasted my break thetr and didn’t even get any food. Horrible..
Really good service kind employees
Awesome fresh food cooked and prepared to order. Poboys are amazing! Their shelves seem to be stocked frequently with fresh products and if your looking for fresh hot coffee or iced cold fountain drinks and warm smiles then this is your place. For a convenient store that has been here this long, their professional customer service should speak for itself. Keep up the good work guys!
Danny and Clydes has been around as long as I can remember. Its not a restaurant more like order n take out. They happen do foot long shrimp poboy as good as the next for $5! Its convenient, easy n good eats.
Went in around 13:00 today. The person that cashed me out would not even speak. I said hello, how you doing, no response... I then said thank you to her after she took my money. She never even made eye contact.
Good convenient location for gas in the morning on the way to work. If you dont pat at the pump, you can go inside and get a good breakfast sandwich. Or,if its lunchtime, you can get yourself a good fresh poboy. Service is always good, and the food is always fresh. Will return, and recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat.
There is Some awesome Employee at this one. Super Clean place. Catering here is Good. Jambalaya . Fried Chicken wings of course sandwiches Exedra. Check it out this was a good one.
The ordering was simple after you get tge first one down. The food was good. Nice place for a quick bite.
It sounds strange, but Danny & Clydes has always had the best po-boys in New Orleans. Id been gone almost twenty years, but this was one thing I was really looking forward to, and it didnt disappoint.Prices are a bit higher than I was expecting, but I can live with that.
The cook didnt wash her hands after she touched the computer and the trash can. They definitely dont read very well. My hot sausage sandwich was horrible. The bread was soggy!!! ( No one should have to tell anyone to wash their hands)
The service from the kitchen staff was awful, I understand that every thing is kiosh now, and that is great, but her resistance to even help me with that was not appropriate, the cashier was great and friendly, but the kitchen staff was awful and the sandwich was not that great it was not as good as its been in the past, the bread seemed a little old, but the potatoe salad was awesome!! This was Tuesday around 4, the kitchen lady was awful! With a bad attitude!
No matter where Im at, I go there just to order my Hot Sausage on French...
Shrimps in advertising were jumbo shrimp. The shrimp on my poboy was small. Bread seemed a little old as well
Its a great place for lunch and the menu setup made it a lot easier to order my food was hot and delicious, its a very clean store every one was kind and friendly.
I just love their onion rings or pedals as my coworker
Great prices, great food, great customer service and doors are never locked during the open hours (unlike the shell station up the street)
My favorite is the ham and cheese poboy. The roast beef isnt bad but its not the best in NOLA. I find the price of the platters a little high for a gas station/ convenience store they are equal to many restaurant prices.
The foods pretty good and the people are nice. I usually get the hot sausage po boy and its pretty good. I think the pricing is a little high, but I think that its kind of generally average for the area. Its pretty good if you just want to go somewhere close by where you live and you dont want to go to a seedy part of town.
Love the poboys but when theres 7 people in the checkout line it wouldnt hurt someone to jump on another register and open it up.
I gave them a 1 this time because the food I recently ate from here gave my husband and I food poisoning. We ate a grilled shrimp salad with chicken platter as well. Since visiting the ER after that, we are never gonna order from them again.
Great poboys
Great Overstuffed po-boys. Love the fried oyster, and bar-b-que shrimp. Chicken bacon with provolone is great too. Boudin balls as an appetizer. They have great packaged Haydells ooey gooey cake for dessert!
Shrimp poboy is where its at. They use small shrimp and the batter is excellent.
Still good like I remember from when I was younger, just make sure you order extra meat. It will cost you more, but they dont load the meat like I remember from the past.
Went two days in a row! Best poboy I have had in a long time, you will definitely see me again
Best po boys I have found.
They have a great breakfast burrito I like them
The best poboys in New Orleans! And a nice friendly staff
Good convient store. Good prices.
Not just a convenience store, they have awesome po-boys too.
Best place great service love the burgers
Great sandwiches,clean,friendly staff
Best place in town for a shrimp poboy!
Food was horrible, the west Napoleon clearview location is way better.. Also the kitchen cook was very racist, A Caucasian middle aged worker by the name of Christine I ordered my food first and and a white guy came with same order after me and his came first couldve been her friend because when he first came in she left from the kitchen instead of making my order to talk to him. I know harrahan is sort of racist, but didnt think the food service would be the same experience. This is sad this is where we are in 2017.. Will not be returning here for those two reason, Will not patronize where Im not really welcomed....
They allow their employees to scream, yell, and cuss you out, cashiers and kitchen staff always rude and nasty, have very bad attitude problems. They advertise food items on the window and then say they dont have it and learn how to read, although its posted on signs outside window. Dont recommend there services. The worst Danny & Clyde ever, been going there for years, just ignored the attitudes and fact they act like they dont want to serve you, in need for something for work, they were closest.
Clean place. Not the best food or prices, but the location and variety of goods makes this D&C a convenient place to stop.
Good food, but a little pricey compared to portion size.
Great food a good price 👍
Shop shopping here, I got sick throwing up every time I eat here.I no longer shop here for anything, this place is a rip off and a joke.
None of the employees had masks on
Pretty decent food, honestly nothing to rave about but its a good place if youre low on funds for things like small items on the menu...like breakfast sandwiches and things of that such. Never got their gas but seems to always be crowded so I assume thats A good thing.
Excellent food and service!
Stor is very attractive and well stocked. They need a friendly welcoming face at the front counter to make me a regular customer.
Good service good food
Fat poboys...low price. Never crowded. Classic shrimp and hot sausage on real french bread.
Best gas station food you can get!
LOVE the shrimp po’boy!! The staff was fast and friendly!
Nothing beats a Danny and clydes poboy ..nothing and you order off of a kiosk touch screen that gives you ALL of the possible options and prices.
For a fast and good po-boy
Food good but might as well be taking to a wall when it comes to service
Gods quick food for lunch
Great menu filling food awesome store.
They have really good po-boys and friendly staff.
Poorest Danny and Clyde’s in the city the workers are dirty and have attitudes when taking your order and the food was over cooked and cold. Never again
Great, great food and service.
The fried shrimp po-boys are excellent and are offered at a great value. From time to time, they will run a special on fried shrimp po-boys, $2.99 for a 6. As always, the po-boys are fresh, overstuffed, and conform to the traditional New Orleans po-boy standard. The red beans and rice are excellent too and they are generous with their portions. Although the waiting is a bit excessive, its worth it if you want a delicious po-boy at a great price. Danny and Clydes has the best po-boys in the area in my opinion.
A roach was cooked into my friends hash brown. Never again.
Just got snacks but the people were friendly and kind so they get some points
This place used to be excellent.
Great place to get a New Orleans po boy
Good for a quick drink and a bite to eat
Good food and a convenience store.
Great food, great prices, great hours . . .
Not like I remember it to be! So disappointed.
10$ for a 12 shrimp poboy? Hell yea
Im in a hurry and they got about anything u need
Best shrimp poboys ever
Small and busy location which can get backed up quickly
Busy, dirty, and awkward to navigate. It is very convenient though.
Great wings, chili cheese fries.
Good food, good selection
Average at best. Lunch(sandwiches made upon request) counter would push this to 4 stars.
Shrimp poboys. And chicken Salas 😱yum
Best gas and customer service.
Nuthin but fat dimwits everywhere
Good food here.
Convenient...good sandwiches for a gas station
Good Poboys.
Shrimp poboy the best
Its kinda hit and miss with the food here.
Good place stop and go
The food at other Danny and Clyde were a lot better
Drink station Dirty sandwich shrimp overcooked oysters undercooked
Good breakfast poboy
Surprisingly good food for a gas station.
The food was okay but discovered later that I didnt get all the food I paid for.
I dont care what anyone says, best cheeseburger poboy in the business
Best Sloppy Roast beef PoBoy in the area...
Great po boys
Great sandwiches and poboys
Love the food!
Great poboys
Luv the poboys
Breakfast before work
Clean restroom. Kind service.
You have to wait for the cashiers to finish there personal phone calls or finish watching videos on their cell phones before they can be bothered to ring you up
Expensive but fast
Food is alright but the service could use some improvement.
Cashier on duty, didnt know how to add or subtract.
