Wow! What a find! Great place for all your D&D paraphernalia. Dice, maps, unpainted and painted mini figures, books, handbooks, and in and on. My son was in Dungeons and Dragons heaven! If we can, we will head back to NO just for a chance to visit this store. Very knowledgeable staff too!

This place is amazing! My party and I sat at the seance table. Great atmosphere for a D&D game or just board games. The food was very fresh.

Really great place with a lot of games for rent and sale. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and helpful with game recommendations. They have snacks and drinks too and multiple tables to play for different sized groups. On top of everything else both the game rental and drinks were super affordable. More than recommended!

Very good. wide selection of games, but the food could be improved. also I fear the bathroom in the annex. it has a shower. that’s not important but I’m still intimidated by it.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Don’t get talked into buying one of their games that you need a YouTube video to play because the manual is too much for a child to play a game. If you open it and want to bring it back within an hour you can’t . Don’t waste your money. A store of games that someone created just to make a game. Don’t punish yourself

We had a group of 6. We all enjoyed playing some new board games and some of us bought some new dice (cause you can never have enough dice). Staff friendly and helpful!

Stopped in while visiting NOLA and had a couple of hours to kill. Very friendly owner and locals.They have a good selection of rental games. Tables are free for customers, either playing your own and buying food or renting their games.They also have a good selection of games to buy. Focus on D&D and Magic but also some well curated board games.I definitely recommend dropping by and checking it out. Be aware they have a few parking spaces out back dedicated to their shop so you could save on parking on the street.

The staff and owners are awesome, they go above and beyond to help with gaming, painting, and food tips...the food is excellent as well. I brought my 8 year old with me both times and they are very patient and willing to listen to all his gaming questions. The gaming miniatures for D&D are extremely affordable, and detailed. we picked up a set of unpainted Dragon Born and Druids for about $5 and change for 2 miniatures!

Great place to play table top games. They also sell all kinds of games and accessories. The food is ok, but the best part is that they have a lot of large tables and they stay open until 2am on the weekends. If you go out the back door, theres another building with more tables. The guy thats always working there is really nice and accommodating.I only got one picture of a smaller table by the entrance.

Best game shop in the city. Mark and Tracy are a treat to talk to and they can help you find what you need. Oak was always missing that je ne sais quoi and this is it.Cannot wait to be able to head back and play DND in person!

What an amazing treasure. When traveling I like to seek out gaming stores and if you are into D&D or Pathfinder this is a must stop place. The selection of painted miniatures for sale is amazing. They have books, Maps and all the accessories. And a cafe. Hot coffee and a sandwich to go with.

Great combination of a tabletop gaming space, tabletop gaming sales/rental, and restaurant. Bring your friends and save room for desserts because they are homemade and well worth the extra calories. Best thing is the owners are awesome people that love encouraging people getting into tabletop and board gaming.

D4 is a great addition to Oak Street! Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a large collections of games. Weve been making it our date night spot and having a terrific time! Also our 12 year old son is really enjoying the D&D league and is all set to be dropped off for gaming while we get dinner on Oak. :D

Great place to get D&D miniatures as well as all the supplies you need for painting them. The owner gave us a tutorial to help us get started.

I started coming here often to play adventures and misadventures league. Its a great place to nerd out and hang with great friends. The owners are super friendly and fun. They even have snacks and drinks to enjoy if you plan on staying for an extended amount of time. They also sell various tabletop games, miniatures, books, dice, and a lot more cool stuff. Downside, no MTG singles. Upside: large selection of tabletop games and books, large selection of board games for sale or rent, great environment, large selection of MTG sealed products, and EXCELLENT food. I came here looking to pick up a game or two and wound up sitting down for dinner. Ill be back often.

A very interesting and unique combination Cafe and gaming business they have games to buy and to rent there are several tables if you want to get a game going with other individuals I myself do not play games but it is interesting to watch these folks in the wild. The owner is a genuinely nice guy who really cares about his customers its definitely a place that one should visit if in the area

I love the idea. Rent a really nice tabletop game for a day at a cafe. But, paying $10 to rent some of the boardgames can feel like its pulling at your pockets.The space is nice! Definitely enough room to do your gaming.My last gripe is that its a very underwelming cafe when it comes to food and coffee. This could all change as the place evolves though.

I love this place. They have games to rent or buy. Also have a decent bit of gaming accessories, minis, dice, ect. They have tables to play on and small menu of food and drinks. They also have private rooms to rent for something like dnd games.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices for game rentals are reasonable. They have a good mix of games that can be played with just two players and games that can be played with bigger groups. I will definitely be adding this place to my game night rotations.

Beautiful inside. There purple and black decor in a surprisingly bright shop is wonderful. Knowledgeable staff and soooo many games to play.The food is delicious, perfect for lunch or a casual dinner while you play. Mostly sandwiches, soup and salad.

This is my home nerd base. The owners are great and make everyone feel welcome.They carry a wide variety of games and Dungeons & Dragons books. Also they have a full Cafe and the food is great.Also there is always someone looking to start a game or get into one, so finding people to play with is relatively easy, as long as you put the work in. Vampire, MLP, DnD, Pathfinder: all played here.Magic is also played here and the drafts are fun and engaging and kept fair and welcoming for novice and expert alike.

Went mostly to check the place out, and get some campaign planning done. Pretty nice set up: 6 or 7 large tables for gaming or hanging out (or scribbling game ideas, in my case), reasonably priced menu (with lots of caffeine, an essential for me), good selection of board games for rent or purchase, with some RPG and CCG stuff for sale as well. Ive dreamed of having a place like this in N.O. proper, and Ill definitely be back.

The best place of its kind!

Fantastic hangout spot, a true nerd Haven for all those who used to only have dingy game shops with a out of order vending machine.

The service here is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Theres a good selection of RPG material (books, dice, pre-painted and pre-primed miniatures), a growing Magic card stock, and a large library of rental board games. Lots of table space for gaming or eating (and the convenience of having sandwiches and other food available in the same store cannot be overstated), with more space available in the back annex for wargaming and large events. Definitely a must-visit for fans of tabletop gaming in Uptown.
