I must say that the service here is great. The staff make sure you laugh while youre shopping. My mother had a conversation with this guy who was known in the community. What did we buy this day? I forgot but the colors and presence of this mart made me take out my camera as soon as I pulled up. More on the blog.

Great prices on beef ribs.They post-date packed on dates (at least on chicken breast) which is probably not legal?They resell Members Mark and Kirkland Signature branded products...odd.No bulk deals on chicken breast that I could find (youll do better at Sams Club or Cansecos).10lb bags of chicken quarters cost 25% more than they do at Breaux Mart or Rouses.The immigrant proprietors like to pretend their machine isnt coded to take American Express while clearly displaying the American Express accepted here sticker on their door.In short, its a sketchy joint that has good prices if you know what to look for, but I wouldnt buy any meat here I wasnt planning on cooking or freezing same-day.

I would give this place five stars but they are way overpriced on some of their items, that being said they have some really good items that I cant find it the normal grocery store for a good price huge amounts of candy if youre looking for that as well.Im not saying that everything is overpriced but there is a lot of things that dont have prices on them and you ask the person up front and they seem like theyre just making up prices on fly, based on how you are dressed. So go in dressed like a bum and maybe youll get better prices I dont know. But they do have the best store-bought mozzarella sticks I found anywhere.warning it does seem like a second-hand grocery store where they get dented cans and things about to expire for a discount, the problem is they dont want to share that discount with you, they still turn around and charge you full price, way to greeeedy come on..

Theyre very clean and the shelves are full too!! If u need help with anything they have allot of helpers, stop by grab sum things or two and the process are great!!!! Have a Blessed Day ✌🏾🙏🏾🧚‍♀️

This is a quaint convenience store with the usual groceries at a convenience store price. Friendly staff, but one of the refrigerators is a little warm. Also, if you go they after they close on Fridays at 5:30-6:00P.M. Some nice church people bring a warm meal and some simple donated groceries to take home like bread and cookies. Sometimes even pizza. The people also have a free drink rehabilitation service and will pick you up directly from the Chicken Mart after the meal. Great for the homeless lost in addiction.

Its way to small

I love Chicken Mart because its the only place I know I can shop when I need ole school bulk candy. I gave it a 3 because the employees/owners were not polite. Two men come and stood in front of us while we were trying to decide on what candy we wanted to purchase. After checking out, the cashier never thanked us for shopping there, the person who bagged our purchase was nice enough to thank us for visiting.

Its usually well stocked and meat products are fresh. You can also buy in bulk. The store has been around for a long time.

This Chicken Mart has everything you can possibly need. The smell of seafood and poultry is overwhelming though.

They usually have quantities in larger or optional base from whats at larger groceries. Hit miss normally only get one or two items~

Watch them, when paying cash they will add it on an adding machine without putting it in the register and dont give you a receipt
