It get four stars because as hood as this corner store is they definitely try... folks hang out and its like a New Orleans landmark and you expect to see folks doing exactly what theyre doing! I love the seafood here and I usually always stop here if Im in the area and want seafood. Sometimes I will even take that drive if Im not.Cool little local spot with a variety of things.

I live in Kenner and pass up maybe 6-10 places because This is most definitely the place to be when your looking for some good ole New Orleans traditional Seafood & Soul food all in one place..all I can say is keep up the greatness & goodness..#NORTHBROADSEAFOOD!

This restaurant is a hidden gem, my family loved it so much we went twice in one day. The boiled shrimp were tasty, the crawfish juicy, and all of it was seasoned to perfection. The sides were even delicious, the sausage was to die for. My daughter fell in love with the sweet potatoes pie, she said it was better than Patty Pies. We will definitely be back very soon 😋

Crawfish were absolutely too salty

This spot got some good food, been visiting there for a long time. I really love boil shrimps and they be off the chain here, very reasonable, good size and favor. They have a variety of other things that fire as well. Always stops there.

North Broad Seafood is a corner store set up with low light, regulars standing outside acting as doormen, good A/C inside, last minute grocery items and some of the best hot food in the south. Walking inside is like going to a concert with folks in close proximity to you, but the seafood, gumbo and rice and fried chicken more than make up for any inconvenience you may experience. Go there. Get some food. Enjoy!

The food is great and the workers are nice and respectful, but there are too many people that hang around the outside of a store. Some of them are usually drunk. As a woman, I just dont feel safe...

You have to be extremely exceptional for 5 stars... This place has the best cooked crawlfish around. Line is out the door but the employees handle the flow like champs.

I give this place a 5 star rating because the food is very great, its like a grandma from the 60s, her mind get to rumbling about what to cook and off the top of the dome she comes up with a masterpiece. Two cons people hang around all day begging and the store is pretty tight in there, besides that food is wonderful and the people who work there treats everyone with respect. Take a visit.... ....

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Now first off, I’ve had really good taste experiences with fresh and prefrozen crawfish. Despite the store being a complete filth bucket. Today I went there for some pre-frozen crawfish and they were clearly spoiled. I called and he told me to return them, so I did. When I bought them back the guy named KEVIN with the blowfish face took the bag and made a comment like “it’s one thing after another” so I replied with “you telling me, I had to drive all the way back here for this inconvenience”. He continued with his smart remarks. So I asked him to grab the bag so I could show him what I was talking about. I told him to smell it and he leaned back saying “ew I don’t wanna smell that”. Then he threw my card in the floor. These Asians set up stores in predominantly black neighborhoods and they’re disrespectful and completely racists. Catering to all black needs but lack total respect for the community and it’s people. My boyfriend had to get out of the car and get him to act right. He still didn’t pick up the card. He told another black man in line too do it. Hmm. Wake up black people. They CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT YOUR DOLLAR. The level of disrespect was horrible!!
