Had a delicious Creole Cream Cheese ice cream strawberry shortcake Sun, so very tasty. And sampled the Lavender Honey ice cream, a refreshing delight. My new favorite ice cream shop. There are lines but they are fast. Please bring your vaccine card if dining in!
The ice cream was obviously delicious but my best friend needed to change her 8 month old but their bathroom is NOT family friendly. There is no changing table. She had to change her baby out in the hot car on the side of the street. Absolutely unacceptable, especially for such an establishment that has a high number of children visiting it.
Please stop making the golden milk vegan flavor!!! Its so nasty (ok like 50/50 cuz sometimes its extremely strong and nasty and another time it was mild) and anyone who likes it is just lying to themselves because its technically healthy. The Thai tea and ube were good vegan flavors. Not everyone who eats vegan ice cream is on a health kick- some of us just are lactose intolerant and dont want to explode. Please make more vegan flavors or at least stop having that as your one vegan ice cream flavor
Delightful ice cream! Nice and attentive staff!! Love the waffle cone, I enjoyed the Chantilly Slam, best ice cream ever! Is a mascarpone ice cream with cake pieces and a hint of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. I think it also have caramel. Delicious! ππ€€π
Still one of the best ice creams Ive had. You really cant go wrong with flavor, everything is great. I personally recommend Creole cream cheese or petit four flavor. Everything is creamy, fresh, and certainly delicious. No matter which or their locations you choose the staff has been super friendly and accommodating. Great to see nothing has changed with this wonderful business post-pandemic. Go support, you wont be disappointed.
If you are ever in NOLA, this is in my top places to go. Their ice cream selection is big, they also have sorbet, occasionally dairy-free options and either vanilla or chocolate in sugar free. It taste amazing and has great texture! My favorite is their coffee or lavender one!
I think this was the best ice cream Ive ever had. There was a long line, but it moved pretty quick - the wait wasnt more than 15 minutes, and it was SO WORTH IT! There were a lot of flavors to choose from, with quite a few unique and interesting choices. The Mexican hot chocolate and cookie monster were both amazing. Others in my party also got the black and gold, peanut butter pie, creole cream cheese, etc. and the consensus was thats all of them were great. We are in town for another day and might go back tomorrow, thats how good it was.
Highly recommend. They have all kinds of ice cream and sherbert treats from banana splits, floats, sundaes to just a waffle cone full of yummy ice cream. The staff is very friendly and will help you decide what tasty treat to get. So many choices...
Ice cream is great and scoopers were wonderful but theres no changing table at either location as if theres not a ton of kids and babies in the place
I was the only person in the shop, the gentleman was very nice to me. It was his mangers giving him death stares because he gave me too much icecream. I told her lucky the ingredients for ice cream are pennies on the dollar. (Im a business owner myself) I would hate to be her employee. She could of gave constructive criticism when I left and the ice cream wasnt bad but I have visited better icecream shops. I hated the red velvet the other 2 I cant remember the names. The best one was salted caramel. I wouldnt return
DELICIOUS!! We enjoyed creole cream, green fairy, and olive oil & sea salt flavors. Green fairy was by far my favorite, and Ive never had its equal at any other store. If I could (during quarantine) I would try everything on the menu! There are numerous affogato options, as well as sorbet/non-dairy flavors. A truly exceptional ice cream experience.
Such unique flavors! I loved getting the mini scoop sampler, with the lavender, earl grey, olive oil, and rose. They have affogatos as well!! I wouldnβt recommend drinking their espresso on its own though, as it was quite bitter.
The creole cream cheese ice cream on a waffle cone was really good. Unfortunately, the milkshakes lacked flavor/were not sweet enough, and they were very liquid-y. The ice cream flavors are unique and all look delicious. The service was great. The young lady who helped me offered samples when she noticed I was having trouble deciding, and she even helped me take my order to our car since I couldnβt carry it all. Iβd go back and give them another try if we were in the area.
Really good ice cream. I got the Lavender Honey flavor and was happy with it. Its a subtle flavor but unique and delicious.
Little hidden gem in uptown New Orleans serving up unique and delicious flavors. Highly recommend the banana foster and roasted pistachio both fulfilling and satisfying. Free sample to try if you canβt make your mind and friendly staff to serve you. Parking can be limited and police officer always lurking around so good luck. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs.
Some very inventive flavors with the tried and true options as well. The sundae selection was adequate and the venue is nice. They have many employees so service moves quickly even if there is a line and the will let you try samples!
Excellent ice cream. Love the assorted flavors!
Delicious creamy inexpensive ice cream! We tried the 6 kinds for $7 and were impressed with the selection. The floral ice creams such as the lavender & honey, the magnolia flowers, and the champagne & Violet were completely mind blowing. All of them were creamy and smoothy and tasted of spring. The Jasmine tea was subtle yet flavorful.Tip: street parking available, & try the 6 mini scoops (they are not that mini)
Whatβs better then ice cream in a hot day!? Itβs a little outside of the normal tourists locations but still easy enough to get to. So we stopped in for a couple scoops. It was pretty empty so there was no wait. The guys behind the counter were nice enough. I didnβt get a super friendly vibe, nor a donβt bother me vibe, just a βdoing my jobβ feeling. We tried a few different flavors and we decided on two, two scoop cups. Nice and creamy ice cream, full of flavor. Definitely a winner. Maybe one day Iβll return for the insane ice cream challenge- 8 scoops and 8 toppings!
I started coming here because my bank is nextdoor. Every time I come here, there are so many delicious flavors that I end up taking home multiple pints so I can savor them all and have 2nds and 3rds!! Theres always something new and exciting to try and I now look for excuses to come to this area of town! In this pic: Turtle Cookie, Salty Malty, and Salty Smokey Chocolate Almond (my favorite)!!
I love this place. So many unique and exciting flavors. Go with the sampler so you can have 4 or 6 small scoops and experience all the flavors
A reliably delicious mainstay of this neighborhood, you cant go wrong with their selection of both classic and original flavors.
This place is awesome. Got there at 9:30pm and they were still packed. I had the Lavender Honey and the Creole cream cheese. Both of them were recommended by peoples reviews. OMG the lavender honey was the bomb. I could eat that all day. The Creole cream cheese was good. It had a twayn that I was not expecting. It was not bad just different. Very cool place. You have to check it out.
Delicious, This place is amazing! Creole creamery is the best ice cream in NOLA! What I like most about Creole Creamery is their wide variety of flavors (especially the new and unique ones that seem to pop up every few weeks). They have more classic flavors too but theyre just not on display. Also theres a case entirely dedicated to chocolate flavors! They also offer mini scoop samplers (just dont be a hog). The staff is friendlyThis is a cash only place and will not expect a credit card.
Very good ice cream. I got cherry vanilla malt and salty smoky chocolate almond (both delicious, though as a chocolate lover I preferred the chocolate) and my husband got creole cream cheese (he loved it, I was so-so).
A cash only establishment. Just a heads up. There was a huge selection of different ice cream flavors. Each 1 sounded better than the previous. They make their own waffle cones. It smells delightful inside. The staff was patient and helpful. We tasted a couple before we chose. Im not gonna influence you by saying what we got. Go in and find something you like.
The best ice cream ever. Love the honey lavender and magnolia flavors they are my favorite i come from Baton Rouge often.
This used to be the best ice cream place in town, but its really gone downhill. The flavors are okay but not as good, sort of diluted, and the waffle cones were really stale, which ruined the whole thing. It feels like whoever owns it no longer cares. Also, the bathroom was super rundown, like one in a truck stop diner, not an ice cream parlor. But its open later than the others so it will always be popular with the Uptown crowd.Parish Parlor and Ice Cream 504 are much, much better.
Got the bittersweet chocolate torte, tres leches, and also tried the lavender and cream cheese flavors in ice cream cake. AMAZING, concentrated chocolate flavor, and all the other flavors were delicious too
The best icecream shop in NOLA. Try their salted caramel in waffle cone. It is the best.
Always so delicious! The flavors are amazingly unique for ice cream. My sister will only get the lavender because its that awesome.I also love that theyve kept the old Mackenzie sign on the building too. πThanks for great customer service!
Took our 10 kids here on vacation. Staff were super nice, place was clean, and the kids LOVED their ice cream. Awesome variety of flavors and cones were huge. We would definitely visit again on our next trip to New Orleans.
Best ice cream on the planet probably. Anyone visiting nola needs to try this place, they make all their ice cream themselves and Ive loved every flavor Ive tried, but my go to is the cotton candy, its super creamy and light, not overly sweet at all, its this perfect consistency.
The staff was super friendly. Social distancing was observed. The ice cream was delicious! They offer some really funKy and cool flavors.
A classic New Orleans staple! Ice cream/gelato in the city!
We hauled over a few of our Holsteins to be milked but this is not your typical creamery. They just sell deserts and didnt want anything to do with our cows. The deserts are good though.
Delicous ice cream. So many flavors. Good thing I dont live nearby I would visit too often! Would be nice if they had some seating inside or outside but its hard to please everyone with nervousness abounding.
Best non dairy ice cream I ever had, they also have regular ice cream. Its really hard to find non dairy options that actually taste, look, and smell good as well. I am a regular here for the coconut flavored sorbet, its creamy and you wont feel like your missing out on some good creamy whole milk ice-cream. Which is hard to duplicate in the non dairy section, for some reason its always an epic fail. No photos because Im not interested in my phone when Im really enjoying something amazing. Plus I dont want to share my drippings with my phone .
They always have the best ice cream! Top 3 ice cream places in Nola!
Absolutely LOVED their ice cream. We had the 6 mini scoop sampler for $7 because there were so many unique flavors I wanted to try. The flavors we tried were cafe au lait, butterscotch toffee, lavender honey, salted caramel, red velvet, la vie en rosΓ©. My favorite was probably the lavender honey because it was the most unique yet still delicious. My least favorite was salted caramel. It was the saltiest salted caramel Ive ever had.Theres plenty of seating and usually a line the whole time we were there. They have gender neutral restrooms.Would definitely come back to try more of their non traditional flavors.
I really do not understand how people love this place so much? Taste (sampling) not allowed, dining in not allowed.Ice cream looks awesome but when it comes to taste...its not even close to what I would call homemade. There isnt any flavor, I swear there isnt any lavender in the Lavender Honey and Amaretto Chocolate Cheesecake.Just save yourself a headache and go to the competition, this place is that bad. I bet even wally world store brand is probably better.I gave two stars because the only good thing about this place is staff. Super nice, polite, professional & courteous.
Our favorite place in town for fresh made waffle cones and creamy ice cream!
Best ice cream in New Orleans, variety of flavors for all ice cream lovers, loved their lavender flavor ice creamπ
A must visit in New Orleans. You can take the trolley here. You get to see a different part of the city. Pass through a neighborhood with big beautiful homes. There is a large assortment of ice cream mashups to choose from. You can get a 4 or 6 scoop sampler. All reasonable priced. This place is always crowded. I suggest one person holds a table while the others are in line. Even if its not crowded when you get there, they are on the way!
Amazing flavors true homemade taste naturally nawlins
Need one in Baton Rouge. One of these days I will write a petition. A good ole day ice cream parlor with flavors for everyone
Awesome variety of flavors and menu items! They serve everything from sundaes to espresso. The restaurant is cute and quaint, too; but Id imagine it would be busy during the summer. The staff was also incredible - I got recommendations and samples without even asking. Then they asked if I wanted my ice cream in plastic or glass, which took me by surprise, but its nice to have the option.
Bad business practices like a $5 minimum card charge, no tasting, and no bathroom access. However, ice cream was extremely delicious. I guess this goes to show that we let the things we love abuse us.
Ok. I have owned a Gelato shop and made my own Gelato. The real stuff. With that said, this is my favorite ice cream shop in the entire country. Yes they have some unique flavors and even these are worth a try because they do a great job of mixing unique things in a subtle manner. You have got to try this place.
Genius ice cream flavors. Love the chefs perfect chocolate and salted caramel and lots more. Service is generally good.
Amazeballs. Mexican Hot Chocolate ice cream was incredible. My new favorite.
So delicious. Their ice cream is unique and a great price.
Wow! Can we just talk about how amazing this place is? First, the parlor atmosphere is great. It has cute personal touches throughout the store and when you walk in it smells like Christmas because they make their waffle cones fresh daily! The customer service is on point. Iβve been twice now and both people who helped me were AMAZING! Iβve tried the lavender honey ice cream and the chocolate torte. Wow! Itβs thick, creamy, rich, and tastes like sunshine. I do believe I need to try all of their flavours now! Canβt wait to come back!
Fun place! Great ice cream, however had to eat in the car due to Covid.
No employee had on gloves, touching everything from the scoops, the icecream containers the icecream cones the cups etc. I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE EVER AGAIN. SO DISGUSTING.
As seen on Travel channel...fast staff..deliciousness
Excellent skyscraper that can feed at least 3!
Always great ice cream and service!
Pear Balsamic Caramel. So delicious! The unique flavors (lavender, goat cheese mission fig, magnolia blossom) are amazing but even their chocolate and vanilla offerings are anything but basic. A real treat for ice cream aficionados!
They take cards now!! Wait time is at least 10mins
I was disappointed they didnt have Mexican Chocolate but the ice cream here is all good. Too bad there arent some outside seating areas. Staff is super helpful.
Absolutely the best ice cream in New Orleans. The staff is friendly and helpful and there are tons of awesome flavors to choose from! The building is decorated like an old school ice cream parlor and is a place I always bring my out of town guests.
My daughter got the petit four ice cream, it was delicious.
