Good selection of cigars and tobacco items. Staff was a little rude, but that is to be expected in New York City.

Stopped in to get a gift here for an important client of ours. We worked with Robert to explain the kind of gift we wanted to give, our expectation on the cigars, the importance this would play for us and he helped us TREMENDOUSLY! He went over everything from A to Z, on the kinds of cigars, their brands, price range, showed us different gift boxes, gift wrapped it for us and gave excellent customer service. If I didnt hate smoking he would have convinced me to start right then and there with all of the knowledge he dropped on us. I felt like a cigar connoisseur by the time I walked out of there. Safe to say our client was more than impressed with the box of 12 Davidoff Variety Cigars we gave him! Thank you so much, Robert and team!

An oasis in the desert. The fellows there were respectful and helpful and dressed classy. Its a great place to stop and spend the day. The sitting area was well ventilated, clean, and comfortable. We will return, for sure.

This place is one of the best cigar shops in Manhattan.Starting from the staff. They are very helpful, professional, and very friendly. They make you feel that you have known them for a long time and that you are a VIP walking into the place. They can suggest different smokes depending on your preferences.The place. The design, the colours, the humidor is very well preserved and clean, and most importantly, the smoking area!! It is very nice calm and a very thoughtful touch is that phone calls are not allowed inside. They encourage people communicate and have face to face conversations and learn more about different smokes and preferences. It is my favourite cigar smoking spot in New York.Their collection, it’s very eclectic. They have different smokes for everyone. They have all Davidoff collection which is my favourite. I really like Churchill Late Hour aged. They have all kinds of packs from Davidoff. And all the best cigar companies because Davidoff is always concerned about quality and high end cigars, yet, good prices. They have one of the best prices in Manhattan.Sometimes this place celebrates some occasions, so you might be getting a lot of free food, desserts, fruits and drinks, if you are lucky to catch one. Just make sure you keep track with them.There are good places nearby for coffee. Just next door. And the opposite side of the ave you can find an open buffet shop called Smilers (check my review on it).When you go to Davidoff, ask about Ashraf, the manager. He’s very nice and all the staff are! I rarely write reviews but I had such an amazing experience at Davidoff the other day I wanted to share with others. I was greeted at the door by a gentleman named Ash, he was very laid back and made me feel so welcome. He has decades of industry knowledge, during the course of my shopping many regulars stopped in to say hi and to purchase their cigars, etc. It felt like your neighborhood bar similar to Cheers, where everyone did know your name. I will be stopping in more frequently to enjoy a fine place to get away from it all in midtown. Thank you Ash for an enjoyable experience.

After having a pretty good week of studio work, I decided to have a cigar with my coffee for Senbet. Was running a little late and I reached Nat Sherman’s at 7:15pm. The Indian statue was inside and so that’s that. Hmm... Let’s hit Madison Ave. Davidoff Of Geneva has been putting out some very awesome smokes since 1911. Be sure and hit their website and read of one very interesting story of this brand. I asked the tobacconist named Agur to slip me something medium and he suggested I get a Flor de las Antillas. It’s repping Cuba and I really like it. So soothing and nice with my sabbath coffee. I’ll be back there very soon to try others. I did a quick view of the humidor and it was rich. Im new to cigars and when I walked in I received a full education. I ended up leaving with a small variety of cigars and a quality cutter. I didnt want to spend too much on a cutter/lighter set, so the gentleman ended up giving me a cheap lighter at no cost. These guys were very friendly and welcoming. I will be coming back.

This has been my spot for over 20 years. Good selection of cigars, no one on city has a quality selection like theirs. Holts in Philly comes close and JRs in Jersey.

They have a great selection of cigars, including boutique cigars. The smoking lounge has the best ventilation system I have come across, and I do not exaggerate. The salesmen are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Besides cigars, Davidoff has an extensive selection of accessories from humidors to pens, lighters, and leather goods. They also carry a selection of various pipe tobaccos and pipes. You will not come across a better cigar establishment in NYC.

Decent cigar is 17$ average. Well ventilated lounge. Waited 15 minutes to purchase a cigar. Dont waste any time just visit Nat Sherman.

Been going to Davidoff on Madison for 19 years. They moved locations a few years ago but remain an excellent shop. There’s a nice enclosed seating area with a tv. Humidor is large with a good selection and prices typical for NYC. Ask for Eric, he’s worked there forever and is the nicest person in the business you’ll ever meet.

Excellent welcoming staff. Spent the afternoon enjoying my favorite cigar with my son before heading to Yankee Stadium to watch the Penn State Pinstripe Bowl. Comfortable setting and helpful staff cant wait to return. I recommend Guillermo Leon Signature Series cigars and Davidoff of Geneva ... excellent.P.S. - dont try to take the number 4 train uptown 1 hour before any game ... not a good idea. It was packed!P.S.S. - also good selection of pipe tobaccos.

When in the area ... I always stop in for a quick smoke.The new store looks identical to its prior location.The lounge is quaint and peaceful ...Davidoff is one the most regulated walk-in humidors. The white-glove service offered by the sales staff adds to the overall quality of the sticks (less chances of random people molesting the cigars).Prices are inline with cigars found in NY/NYC.Davidoff s pricing is lower than Havana Hut / CigarMan / Havana Dreams (these Cigar Shops/Lounges are all located in Queens)Close to Fifth ave shopping/jewelry market/ect.only gripe? Wish their hours were more extensive, till 10pm or midnight.
