Guess where im getting my next set of tires. Today I stop to get on of my tires fixed. So they ask for my information and they started to work on my tire they got it fix super quick. So one of the guys comes out with the fixed tire and I ask him to leave it on the floor. I will loaded on my truck. He goes no I will do it for you. then I said ok thanks I will go pay for the service he goes no its ok it will be free of charge. I was like Wow!! thats nice. So thank you guys for getting my tire fix.

I have been going to Point S in Newberg for over 7 years! Always great service and quality work.

I had a screw in my tire. This shop was close to home so I stopped in. They fixed the tire within 10 minutes and didn’t charge me even though I wasn’t an existing customer. They also had lots of other vehicles there so the fact that they fixed it quickly and we’re very nice, I will now go there for all my car’s needs!

I’d like there to be more than 5 stars for this business. They went above and beyond to repair my car in a timely manner and at the best possible cost. Their customer service was amazing and they will be the only place I take my car from now on!

Knowing I was only traveling thru newberg they charged me $98 to mount and balance 2 tires. Ive never paid more than $25/tire. I feel cheated.

Gills is the best. They have helped me several times with my goofy vehicle. The manager even gave my little daughter and I a ride home when he overheard me telling her we had to walk home while the car was in the shop. They have reasonable prices and are honest and fast. I highly recommend them!

Very friendly, quick, and professional service this past Saturday! I went in to buy new tires and ended up with a way better deal than I was expecting. And I’m loving the new tires. They are quieter and smoother than what I had.While sitting in the waiting area I could hear the calls coming in and was very impressed with how the service desk handled them all. I could tell some of the conversations could have been difficult but he was openly truthful, friendly, professional, and reassuring to the caller. I highly recommend them.

I went in to get my tires rotated, and it had been a little bit since I had been to this location and they have made some changes to the inside waiting area. I was able to grab a quick easy cup of coffee, and add in cream and sugar (and flavored creamer if you wanted) and grab a nice cold water as well as add flavor if you wish. I also really appreciated their charging station, being able to charge my phone and work on my laptop is a great benefit while waiting for my car to be checked out. The manager is very nice and knowledgeable, and takes the time to educate, if needed.

Been coming here for a while for oil change, alignments, etc. Always willing to fix what they can and get the best deal. Super reliable service and always welcoming! Highly recommend

I love the Goodyear tires so much that I went back for my third set recently. However the counter person was very rude. Very disappointed in his conduct! Earlier, I bought tires here based on another’s excellent tire knowledge even though that person treated his employees in a very unprofessional way. Seems like a good tire shop with great tires has chronic personal problems. I purchased tires at another shop.

Have been coming here as a repeat customer for some time. Even bring my car in for oil changes now, after getting tired of the terrible service at jiffy look lube.This most recent experience I brought my flat tire in with a bent rim. My husband went to a pick and pull out yard and found a rim to replace the bent one, so I had that with me in my back seat as well as the original blown tire in the trunk. Charlie called earlier and explained Id be in later that day.As we expected the blown tire could not be salvaged so I had to buy a new one. Gabe talked very straightforward to me, did not condescend or try to up-sell me, in fact first giving me the option of only buying the 1 tire I needed.They did however, fix the rim on my blown tire free of charge, then place the still decent other tire on now-fixed rim giving me a spare tire instead of a donut should the need arise again! Wow, what service.After speaking with Gabe in the lobby, another customer looked at me and remarked something to the effect of Arent they just great?Every single time Im here I get helpful, friendly, authentic service and come away pleased with the experience.I never take the time to write reviews ever, but as I was driving home I was thinking they really do need the recognition for doing excellent work consistently.

I thought I needed new tires because the TPMS kept showing a low tire every day. They found a hole in the tire and fixed it at no charge! Great people and awesome customer service! My new favorite place for tires.

Took my lifted jeep there for an alignment, they did an inspection and realized their machine good get a close alignment but recommended I have it done with a specialized alignment rack which they did not have. I feel that they put my best interest first.Thanks guys!

I went in to drop off my Ram dually with 22.5 wheels hoping to improve the shimmy in the steering wheel using balance beads. Gabe greeted me at the counter and starting asking why I would no spin balance the front wheels instead of using balance beads which I didnt know was an option from what ive heard or read on the web. Gabe got me right in was able to take care of my issues. Long story short, leave it to the professionals at Point S in Newberg as they have the expertise and knowledge as well as over exceeded my expectations!

No way!! They tried to get me to buy a expensive part any pay hundreds of dollars. I went to cecil browns and they replaced what needed done for a fraction of what they tried to Rob me for !!! Go anywhere else!!

Didn’t spend a whole lot of time experiencing the customer service so take this review with a grain of salt.. but the little experience we do have left me disappointed. Once I called in, I asked to make an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They took my information and I dropped my car off that evening to get serviced the next day. I was greeted by a friendly associate to pick up my car the next day. I was disappointed to learn they did not rotate my tires and when I asked about it there was No record of me asking and nothing was said to remedy it. I paid and went on my way. I left feeling like it wasn’t the greatest experience.

These guys are reliable, honest, and do their best to take care of anything you need. Larry recommended some winter tires for me as I head through the mountains frequently, and they worked perfect. Amazing crew in every way. Got a great deal (price matched to on line) on a new set of wheels and tires for my F150. They where helpful with product knowledge and expertise. They have earned my business for sure.

Unfortunately I will not be going back here. I had scheduled a tire change appointment, ordering in special tires in my car’s size due to sale they had going on, with an alignment 2 weeks in advance, to make sure I would have an appt. since my schedule is very busy. About a week away from the appt. I called and cancelled the alignment but was very clear that I wanted my tires changed still, and had the person over the phone confirm back to me the price quoted, tire size and type I had special ordered to their location, and time of my appointment. Neither on my first call or the second did the person provide me a name for reference later. The day of the appointment I show up and they tell me they have no record of my appointment, have to take all my information down again, and tell me that the tires I had special ordered had “probably been sold” to someone else. Since I absolutely needed tires and couldn’t wait another two weeks for another appointment, I went with another brand. However, even though it was their fault they cancelled my appointment, even AFTER I confirmed the appointment twice, and they “probably sold” my SPECIAL ORDERED TIRES, they would not give me the price originally quoted to me since “they felt they didn’t have to” and that “I could wait”. They even told me that I was lucky they got me in that day since they were so busy, even though I had an appointment already scheduled that they cancelled! I paid nearly $200 more than my original quote. I am very disappointed and an extra $200 is a large portion of money that I don’t have to just spend on the dot. My mother has had similar problems with this company in the past. With a past car I had brought in for them to work on, they had me climb up into the car that was already up in the air on the lift, since they couldn’t figure out how to turn off the alarm. All in all, I will not be going back and did not appreciate the customer service given to me that day.

I find that Gills Point Tire Store is extremely reasonable priced. I go there for my Oil changes and tires. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they never keep me waiting any longer than possible. I would highly recommend them to all of my friends and anyone else who has similar needs. Having lived in Newberg for 16 years, Ive tried just about every other competitors in town, and I have to say that The Tire Store is by far the best in town!!

I had a flat tire that could not be fixed. Came in and they helped me with the correct tires. I only waited about 40 min. I had no appointment. Also had a running light out they fixed that even though it was hard to get at, they joked. I felt very welcome there. Planning on all my car stuff to be done at Gills point S tire.

They were great when making my wifes car appointment for new tires and picking out what tires I wanted to put on it. Not to spendy not to cheap of tires just normal and didnt push to sell more expensive ones. One tire had a wheel sensor that was bad. They fixed it no problem and where done with that an doing the new tires. It didnt take no time at all. Very happy with gills point s newberg location. Will be going back for sure for anything I need tires/rims/wheel sensors that sort of stuff. I have been using this tire shop off and on for the last 10 years. The owner and his employees are always helpful, courteous and professional. Today I was in and the owner helped me to save a couple hundred dollars. After this experience they will be first on my list every time.

I went in to get a quote on an alignment and 2 tires on Saturday July 14th was told 87.70 a tire $50 for an alignment, I was then told since I was a veteran he would give me an additional 10% off so that adds up to $225.40. Then when I go in for my appointment there is things they are not up front about,,an additional $9.50 for the tire stems,, so in and balancing $29.00,,and of course they say the support veterans but didnt receive there 10% support there either,,,oh let me say that they said I needed a 4wheel alignment at $99.50 but they discounted that $39.55 hmmmm,,so my bill totalled $273.85,,I dont mind paying my bill but I like upfront honesty not a salesman selling me and saying things that they dont honor,,I would forgive them about maybe forgetting Im a veteran but having served my country being awarded a bronze star which is on my license plate it is hard not to notice,,mind you its not the money its the lip service and the promises that are timely forgotten when its time to pay the bill that gets me,,I want to support all local businesses but this is a prime example of giving a private business owner a chance 5o be honest and upfront and completely failed I have 3 other vehicles and now with this one visit I will try someone else so sad,,,,

I got new tires and an alignment last month. Id been putting it off thinking it would be expensive. It wasnt as much as I thought and the service was great. They even picked me up & dropped me off.

Service was excellent, they had to order my tires from another store, and had them ready for me within 2 days (it was the weekend). Price was phenomenal, no tire shop near where I live can come close to the pricing that Point S has.

We needed new tires and an alignment. We have always gone to Les Schwab but my husband wanted to call around to compare prices. We ended up paying overall $60 less by going to Tire Factory - and they even gave us a card for a free oil change. So I have been going to to Gills for years and there service is excellent. They have fixed multiple flats free of charge and have one of the best tire warranties included with tire purchase for no additional fee as long as you follow recommended tire maintenance schedule.

Keeping with tradition, the employees put forth wholehearted effort to make customers happy. While management, logos, and names may change, Ive come to highly appreciate the level of competence associated with this place.

Great service here. Larry, the manager is kind of intense, but in a good way. I came in on a Friday with a problem, he got me on the schedule for Saturday afternoon. He actually called me in earlier due to an opening and got me out of there for less money and time than initially expected.He took the time to explain what had caused the problem, then offered to rotate my tires (I got them at another Tire Factory).I will return.

I was really happy with the customer service here. They spent some time figuring out the problem with the tire light that had come on. Turns out it was the low windshield washing fluid light, ha ha--but then they were kind enough to top off the fluid-- problem solved. Free of charge. Ill be going back here to fix my tire problems!

Went there today and walked by an employee who was outside, stood by front desk. Saw employees through the window and nobody came over an asked me if I needed help. I sat there 10 minutes and I finally left. I get if your busy, but someone could still come see what I needed. There was only 1 vehicle there, so I think someone could of came up. Ive been buying tires from there, when it was tire factory for years. Wont be going back!

I called the Tire Factory In McMinnville, And spoke to a man named Brian. I had a nail in my tire and he listed all of the ways as to how to fix the issue. He quoted me a price of 15-22 dollars to remove the nail, and seal the hole. When I got there, Brian removed the nail and used a spray to see if the nail went through the tire. Luckily it did not! He then sent me on my way free of charge! If I ever need tire services in the future, I will definitely go back there.
