Did a curbside pickup yesterday. In my order was an order for 50/50 organic lettuce/spinach leaves. I was given what I ordered but the expiration date was for today! Normally when I order this item there is a good date (more than a week out) but whoever did my shopping did not bother to check the expiration date and now I have lettuce that is past expiration which I never use.

Nice store, but there’s always this creepy old man with chin length grey hair, black leather jacket, and blue jeans thats ALWAYS outside the entrance sitting on a bench. He gives me and my children the creeps! I’ve talked to other people who’ve noticed this man being there 24/7 and they agree he’s just plain creepy! I don’t know why freddies allows this creep to sit and loiter there all day. I feel like he gets off on watching young girls as i’ve seen him watch a young girl with short shorts on walk in front of him and his head turned to watch her. Get this creep away from here!

Good place for one-stop shopping. Not generally the lowest prices on everything but you cant beat the convenience of getting everything you routinely need in one place. And, some of their specialty departments, like the cheese counter for instance, are a wonderful bonus. If you have the time to check for coupons and sales, it can really save you a lot.

The selection remains good. If Kroger wants us to scan and/or bag our groceries then please change your prices to Winco. As I looked down at the few open checker lines customers were bagging everywhere.

I went to newberg fred meyer hour ago to pick up sons medication and get a couple groceries. I have bad knee and need a scooter. Went to both entrances barely able to walk and every single one you have had out of order signs on them. Shame on you guys. Get dependable ones.

Fyi! Went to the store yesterday afternoon to buy shoes and for no good reason the cashier ( old lady) by the entrance was rude to us. Fred Mayer Newberg should do a better job selecting customer service representatives. 1 star well deserved!!

The one star is for the Deli, and not the rest of the store. The last time I went in to the Newberg location it was to pick up dinner: a whole chicken and two sides. When we went to pay, the cashier told us that the meal deal was only valid with the cut up pieces. The assistant deli manager, Jen, repeated the same thing, citing the code we enter in the register changing as the reason and then abruptly ran off to the back, leaving a teenage kid to deal with me and my frustrated friend. Unwilling to deal with the nonsense, we ordered the sides separately and left. We called the customer service to confirm that the whole chicken and two sides deal was still available. The CSR we talked to. Quinn, assured us that it was indeed still available. We could have brought it up then and there, but we were hungry (and so were my friends kids). Like I said, we go to the Newberg Fred Meyers, and in most every way it is a fine store: clean, well stocked and reasonable prices (appreciate that), but the deli is a wreck. In addition to bad customer service, being unaware of pricing and generally apathetic, the hot table was disgusting. Not so disgusting I wouldnt eat off it (eaten off worse and been glad to), But I certainly wouldnt serve food off it without wiping it down once in a while. The really frustrating thing is that we have purchased this meal deal at least once a month for the past two years, and it has never been a problem: nor have I ever seen the hot table such a mess. I am done with the Deli.

I came in tonight to shop for a few things. Before I shopped I stoped at customer service to get some change for some big bills, So I could give my kids allowance/chore money. The lady at customer service told me she could only give me $10 in ones and that there weren’t any more one dollar bills in the back office for me. I explained to her I found it hard to believe there was no change inside the store when there was 10 cash registers out on the floor. I also reminded her she worked at the customer service department and she should work on servicing her customers and not being lazy. I didn’t buy anything because I was so bothered. Lazy people shouldn’t be working Customer service.

Great selection, workers could use an upgrade. It’s really a rude feeling to be watched by some little girl who thinks she is God’s gift to earth, Follow you and stare at you while your trying to buy some clothes. Especially when that’s all your trying to do. I shouldn’t get stereotyped, not once did I ever attempt to steal or be dishonest. I understand if someone is trying to steal something you know. I don’t think I’ll manage sneaking a large box of shoes and some jackets in my tiny clutch..? If you want to do your job Better try asking me if I need help.. clearly I was looking for something yet no one asked? I was followed around to the point where other customers and ppl are staring at me because the employees made such a commotion about me? That’s not right. I might not be dressed very nice or look my best, but that doesn’t make me a thief. So this is how I’m suppose to feel as a customer making a purchase? I feel degraded and don’t ever want to come back here.. happy holidays

Hi, I bought broccoli burst salad from the deli on April 14, 2021. I asked the young man when it was made he said yesterday. So I bought a large. The onions were bad. I dont live there in town so I cant just take it back. This is the second time this has happened to me.

Im.new to this town and I absolutely love this Fred Meyer. I have a service dog and everybody has been very kind and goes above and beyond to make us both feel welcomed and not challenged like so many other places.Its a great atmosphere which in turn seems to affect the customers in such a positive manner. Very impressed and much appreciated from someone that has had lets jyst say a couple challenges in my life time lol.Seriously thank you very much.

Most chaotic Fred Myers store Ive ever been forced to shop at.. good luck finding something.... if.you have Epilepsy cross your fingers nothing happens.

Usual small town Fred Meyer, bakery is nice and the deli counter staff is friendly. Produce department is rather limited on options compared to other near by grocery stores. For a short drive to Sherwood you get a much better selection at the Safeway there. You wont find all the other amenities Fred Meyer offers but from a strictly grocery standpoint its the better option

Clean store, the lay put is still a bit confusing but Ill figure it out.

Worst service ever computers are down Tell us theyre taking cash only theyre only servicing one car at a time and the persons having to walk up to the window to pay cash we sit there 20 minutes hes helping people who have come after us because theyre in a easier to get to line I guess when we ask him to please pump our gas weve been there longer he cops an attitude he walks over the pumps not working so he tells us hes restarting it and when we say nevermind well go somewhere else more attitude and says perfect and walks off and leaves us

Before Fred Meyer remodeled we loved this pharmacy. Now, it’s so bad. Medications not in after several days called in. Told to wait 20 minutes for a prescription an hour later it was finally ready.. Many more examples but I don’t have that much time. B. Mikkelson

Great variety, most every basic need covered, and good help if you know how to look for it. Organization needs some work, and changes way too frequently, but its a minimal issue. They are increasing their selection of organics and food for dietary restrictions all the time which is very nice for my dairy, egg, and gluten free self

I saw 3 separate employees not wearing the legally required face coverings or masks, 2 of which were actively helping costumers. Not only is this a violation of the mandatorium, it is an extreme safety violation during the skyrocketing cases and desths caused by this disease. This tells me Fred Meyers as a company does not care for its employees nor does it care for the safety of its customers. Complete unacceptable.

I ordered 3 large deli sandwich trays for a family gathering last Saturday. The deli staff were so pleasant and helpful and the sandwiches were great! I will definitely do this again. Thank you!

Its a great place to shop if you dont want to wear a mask seeing as how none of their employees enforce their no entrance without a mask policy. Even though they announce it multiple times during the day over the p.a.

They keep shuffling goods around this store which makes shopping difficult if you are disabled as I am....but it wasnt just me! There was a woman with small children looking for assistance also. I was able to assist her, but could not find anyone to answer my question.Even the cashier on my way out didnt know where to find the item I was looking for. This cashier was also a story...she chatted with every customer in her line to the point of excess. There were 2 people behind me who left her line to search out other lines to pay.It would be one thing if she was being cheerful and uplifting the clients....but thats not what she was doing. With me, she asked me why I had purchased so many of one item. Other than it was none of her business, I tried to stop a possible barrage of questions, I mentioned a favorite recipe...then she started talking about how many families shopped at that store, that she had been transferred and on and on!I had an infection on my heel, which was exacerbated by my search for goods which I used to be able to walk straight to! I was already in pain...I didnt need her banter too. With all of this energy, couldnt she have picked up the microphone and asked where I could find the item that I was looking for!!!I gave up and purchased it at Safeway.

Connie in the garden department did a great job of making sure I was happy with the bags of soil amendments I purchased today. Gave me two bags at a discount as they were partially opened, threw in an extra bag of mushroom compost to compensate for the torn bags, taped everything up thoroughly, and loaded it for me. I now have a garden box that is ready to plant for fall, and you can bet Ill be back in the garden department when it comes time to buy my fall vegetable starts. Oh wait--thats now! Hope they get some in soon.

This is one of the busier Fred Meyers but somehow the parking lot just works!!! The store is neat and clean and shelves are always full and tidy.Needed assistance getting boxed dishes off a top shelf and everyone was super friendly and glad to help.

Amazing Produce & meats. But... store manager needs to be let go. She is rude. Short & does not care about you. Have worked for her and I am not the only one who feels this way. She do not care if you’re bullied or harassed. They would much rather have you quite than bring up anything. I’ve never worked for a company that didn’t care about their employees. You do not want to work for this store. Store manager told me to “man up a quit my position” than taking care of the problem. Corporate knows my story and I hope she gets fired soon.

Friendly employees, never had a very long wait in checkout line. Easy to find staff for q & a while shopping. Pharmacy lines sometimes long, but theyre always quick and efficient when at the counter. Natural foods section has wide variety of items. Fruit is always fresh and restocked on a consistent basis.

Where I shop, cant return cans here. Takes forever machines dont work. Its a good store

THE PARKING LOT SUCKS! The entrances to the parking lot are limited and everyone bottle-necks at them. They put in random stop signs that dont do anything but make people drive worse! Dont go here around 5 or 6pm most days, they get so busy and packed and it is NOT GOOD!!!!! Besides that, the store is always very clean. The people at the gun counter (Tye I think?) are very knowledgeable and friendly. When a cashier is in training, do not go to their line because it takes FOREVER!! Sorry, but its true. Overall, the store is great. Parking lot and traffic? Not so great.

Good prices. Decent organic selection. Lady in the wine section is nice and polite. Guy in the electronics climbed over my husband in his wheelchair and shoved his cart out of his way. Most other customers and staff cant be bothered to pay attention to pay attention to people around them.

I give it 5 stars as they have a great rewards program, employees are helpful and they have a great selection of every item you would expect.[NOTICE] — However, as far as the Pharmacy goes there is a Pharmacist named Kurt who is particularly rude at times and I can tell He pushes around the techs while just standing there... I find this very unprofessional and it shows a lack of Leadership, which in turn is why Ive heard they have a fairly regular turn-around sadly.

Just about done with remodel. WideAisles are really nice in food dept. Fuel was $2.44 gallon for regular. Only Costco is less at $2.39 in Wilsonville.Growler fill station is up and it has 10 taps to choose from. Great place!

Impressive selection for a grocery store, and a modest supply of clothing. Theres also an electronics department with games and computers. Employees are helpful, as the store is complex and complicated.

Its clean, has a wide selection of items and the staff tend to be pretty friendly and helpful.The Pharmacy is excellent. Fast service and friendly people there, they always try to find the lowest cost option and explain the medicine very well.

The store itself if you can get into the parking lot is nice and for the most part all the employees are very nice the moment you get back out into the parking lot is like a war zone and completely crazy literally unorganized. Im surprised that vehicle accidents dont happen every day there because of the stupid people that drive and think they can drive anywhere including through you. It would be great if Kroger could actually redo their parking lot so its not a complete safety hazard for everyone involved because you cant fix stupid people but you can fix e parking lot I will no longer be shopping here and thats fine its literally no skin off my hind to drive into Salem OR to Tigard or to anywhere with a parking lot and it has some sort of movement.

They are truly a one-stop shopping experience. I use the app to get digital coupons which makes my savings even more and I dont have to clip and carry around coupons. Their prices are lower than other larger chains, and they have good sales often.

This is the best FM of all! It always has the right product. Some thing are hard to find like bulk nutritional yeast - but they have it! And, they listen to what you need and want to buy. SO important!

I shop here all the time....the employees are friendly and helpful. I especially love the fact that this FM has a gun counter!Store always has a nice selection of items and the fruits and vegetables are always fresh.Highly recommended!Update 01/09/2019 Unfortunately they took the gun counter out about two years ago, so I tend to go to FM less than before.

Vey poor and would prefer to rate at a minus five stars. I purchased a Kuereg 2.0 coffee maker that makes a carafe of coffee and included a carafe. I enjoy this product and would purchase the coffee pods at this store. They no longer have any of the pods in stock. When i requested the manager researched and was told their buyer would not order them anymore. Since Kruger took over the Fred Meyer stores they have gone way downhill In their products. The buyer refuses to even order more. This is very poor service. The store use to be proud to claim that You CAN FIND IT AT FREDDYS. What happened to the truth In advertising. I was told to just buy on line. I do not believe In shopping online and having to pay shipping costs which increases the price. My rating should be minus five.

Nice store. Kind of like a Walmart superstore. Its much nicer than the Safeway down the street. I liked that they have a natural food section. They accepted my Frys card, which was also nice.

Five stars today. Went in last night, shelves were very empty in produce etc. Because people panicked about possibility of a little snow. Wow. Went in this morning and all the previously empty shelving was filled up again and looked like they were not depleted. Great job of Fred Meyers staff!

I recently purchased a dining room set and when I got home, discovered it had some damage. The next day I called and spoke to Jose the store manager who was more than willing to work with me on a return or exchange. I wont go into all of the details and tell the whole long story, but suffice to say Jose is by far the best manager I have dealt with based on his customer service, communication, and helpfulness.I have told countless friends about my experience which could have easily been a bad one but turned into a great one because of Jose.Jose thank you so much for all of your help above and beyond!

Went in early as I usually do at the Newberg store...about 7am..everyone kind and friendly..except Greg at the check stand...honestly I wish I could give 0 stars...with the way the world is ..I/we dont think we need snarky, rude condescending comments..the world is already so unkind..it was so uncalled for..dont think he wanted to be there...newsflash..alot of people right now dont even have a job.I would recommend you get an attitude adjustment.

Great customer service! This location just got a face lift, okay a complete remodel and it looks great. They have made a lot of fabulous updates including adding a growler filling station. Very nice and friendly staff always around to help find anything that you cant find. Only place we shop for groceries.

This Fred Meyers store is great. For the most part everyone who works there is super helpful and knowledgeable. The lines can get fairly long but never unreasonable for a grocery store.

So friendly and easy to navigate. Whether I have an entire list of items to stock up on or just need to pick up a prescription it is so nice having a store nearby with so much variety. One-stop shop for sure and my absolute favorite!

The Fred Meyer near me is always hustling. Employees are informative, clean and well groomed. They always go out of their area to help me find something.

It has been along time since I have been to this location, but it is VERY nice, clean, wide aisles, very friendly helpful staff. It can be a bit overwhelming because of the size. I really like that they have a gas station at this location and that without any discounts .40 cents cheaper per gallon then any other gas stations. You can save even more with rewards.

This Freds is pretty good. The checkers are mostly pretty good. There is tons of u check, a good produce with organic, good cheese section, decent wine section (not as good as Trader Joe), I dont buy meat or fish there but I can typically find all of the things there because it is all the stuff in one store. The prices arent an awesome bargain but the gas is inexpensive and there are discounts all the time.

Not the Fred Meyer of old. Kroger unfortunately does not care about quality products, customer service, or the employees of Fred Meyer as Freddys did. I find it remarkable that the employees care as much as they do, considering the message that Corporate sends to them

The shopping here is becoming more of a challenge. At any given time you have 10 big carts of personal shopping staff. The shelves are always cleared out of sale items. The re-stocking is slow and late at night. There is always a group of people that congragate at the entrance to grocery. I had to go outside and get my own cart to bring in from the parking lot. It seams that there is a constant problem with self check.

Nice store, nice people. Clean location with a nice selection of food and products. They just need to restock cups and lids for the deli.

Fred Meyer is what it is. Better, but more expensive, than most of their competitors. I get the convenience of shopping here, as it is one stop shopping, but there is a premium to be paid for that. The only time I go here is when Ive got a diverse list and not enough time to hit multiple stores.

Groceries, Clothing, Jewelry store, home electronics, sporting good, home decor, hardware and garden all under one roof. Great wine and beer selection... bakery and deli with Starbucks in store. Good price and broad selection!!

Very large Fred Meyer and not a whole lot of parking available. It was difficult navigating around the parking lot but after the 5 minute search for parking was over and we were inside this place opens up and I didnt feel as bottlenecked. The people are helpful and this place has most of what anyone would want but the parking is a PAIN!

Best store in Newberg. They have everything at good prices. Friendly and helpful service. Only downside are the crowds when they are busy.

This is a very big Fred Meyer. Its well organized and reasonably easy to find what you are looking for if its your first visit. But since its so big there are lots of home goods and clothes to choose from in addition to the normal grocery fair.

Pretty much everything you need at your fingertips. Freddys and a good hardware store is about all you need.

Very well stocked store with great local wine selection plenty of checkers for quick and easy checkout. One con prices are higher than the Safeway across the street on many items, but the store is much cleaner and updated compared to the Safeway.

I always go to Fred Meyer and its one of the only places I get gas since its convenient for myself. I love everything about it except at the gas pumps they always seem to forget that Im there a lot even when its not busy.

Clean environment, great selection of everything from frozen foods to top vide games in electronics, definitely an overall BETTER shopping experience compared to stores like Walmart. This store has become a go to for groceries and everything I may need lol have a great day.

I have shopped six Fred Meyers across Portland and Tualatin over the past 12 years, and all are exceeded by the Newberg Fred Meyer. At least, in this moms opinion. Free piece of fruit for my son to snack on while we shop? Awesome. Every associate I pass greets us with genuine interest? Seriously, every one? Wow. Clientele are generally pleasant, courteous, and nice to my talkative, social toddler? The best! Yes, this Fred Meyer has enough of a selection to make it a true one-stop family shop, yes there is plenty of parking (though getting in and out is tough nowadays due to road construction), yes the checkout process is speedy... but best of all, its a great customer experience for mom and very young son.

Went shopping last night and pick up meds at the pharmacy . I use a cart I hate that I have to but my body is just doing what it can. It was nice to have my groceries packed and put in the cart but good gosh she way over packed a few of the bags.

Remodel looks great. The extra room between aisles makes it easier to get around.

Even with the new renovations, the friendliest staff, and great selection, they do need a bit more parking for disabled and Seniors. And need more small carts, which are easier to maneuver.

Very clean and modern Fred Meyers that has just about anything you might need. Fresh produce, wine. Mest, fish, wine. Firniture, household items, clothes, pharmacy....the list goes on and on.

Great store experience every time I shop there which is often. The fuel station however left me incredibly upset this evening and I feel the need to express this as I found it incredibly innapropriate. I was waiting in line at the pump, was the next in line. As I sat there looking at an empty pump for a while in the line next to me, and noticing the cars next to me who hadnt been waiting as long as I had been not moving into the empty spot, I realized it was my turn to move forward so I did. When I pulled up to the pump, the young man said to me you need to go to the back of the line and wait just like everyone else in line I looked at him confused and asked are you kidding me? I was waiting in line! and he continued to tell me he wouldnt pump my gas so I left. And will NOT be coming back. Which is a shame because I fueled up there often and it is very convenient for me, but not worth it to be treated that way.

My favorite part of the store is the Jewelery Dept and the ladies are so sweet and very helpful and knowledgable. I am very pleased to shop there . The other part of the store that I enjoy is the bakery and produce departments.

I love shopping at Fred Meyer because I can buy quality organic veggies AND hardware (I needed Super Glue), clothes, etc. One-Stop-Shopping saves me trips to other stores!
