Tried on more than one occasion to call regarding time-sensitive prescriptions. They rarely pick up the phone and there is not even a way to leave a message! But Cameron was very helpful.

Was going to switch pharmacies because I moved and this was the closest but I stood on the line (one of 4 to be told I was on the wrong line) and after being in that line for 15 minutes- I waited in the “consultation line” to wait another 10 minutes and I finally thought - “do I really want to deal with this every month?So I called my doctor and asked for him to transfer back to my old pharmacy and I will drive a half hour just to not wait and be ignored.Very bad service. Sorry but with all those people they have working there- they should have it more organized. And the “kids” that they have working there could use some customer service training also.

Typical CVS nothing special. Not all pharmacy techs are not friendly. They spend more time telling me what they cant do. I only shop here as my drug plan only honors CVS or I would shop elsewhere

I had the misfortune of the local urgent care sending my meds to this pharmacy instead of my usual pharmacy. The wait was outrageously long, especially with 3 people working behind the pharmacy counter. I arrived 2 hours after the scripts had been sent, was told they needed an additional hour. Came back an hour and a half later, waited 45 minutes (there was only one person in front of me the whole time) then was told the pharmacist had a question before I could receive my meds but was on the phone. 10 minutes later he asks me several questions that my dr had already asked when he prescribed the medicine. I could understand if he saw an interaction or something of substance but after having to come back twice, waiting as long as I did, waiting again bc this guy was on the phone…the questions being so captain obvious and unnecessary…I was beyond frustrated. If you have any option to stay far away from this pharmacy my best suggestion is to do just that.

Awful. Never answer the phone, don’t let you know when medicine is ready when they actually manage to fill it. I had an RX sent in for filling yesterday for an infection and I’m still waiting on them to even acknowledge its existence. When you do go to pick up a script that they say it will be ready in 15 minutes it’s an hour+ wait. I once fought with a pharmacist tech here because I had a newer migraine medication that needed me to use a coupon while I waited for preauthorization from my insurance, and instead of working it out or asking for help on how to code the coupon, she told me it would cost me $1000 because “we don’t do that here. Do you want to pay the $1000 or what?”

The pharmacy doesnt pick up their phone. The pharmacy doesnt acknowledge that anyone is waiting on line. It takes days to get a basic prescription filled. 6th time a 90 day script was filled with only 30 pills, but charged full price. The paperwork says it was filled on 7/6 but I was there 30 min before closing on 7/7 and was told it was marked expedite but wasnt ready and should be done the next day.

Completely awful. Not helpful, attitude when you ask questions. Lied straight to my face about a wrong prescription. Has given me the wrong prescription more than once, I could go on but overall just terrible

The absolute WORST! This used to be a pretty decent pharmacy, but has gone so far downhill, recovery would take a miracle unless they re-vamp their entire system. Some prescriptions get filled twice and others that were called in by my doctor at the same time, they tell me the script expired. Their text alert service isnt consistent anymore, so you cant even depend on that. And their phone service? ... dont get me started! Employees dont know what theyre doing either. I could go on and on! Im switching to Walgreens.

Pharmacy* Was so happy when they first opened, things went ok, but went downhill as soon as they started picking up business! Very unprofessional and not timely at all! Called after several days of scrips being called in and the young man sad You have 4 prescriptions! I said yes but they were sent in 4 days ago!!This was the straw for me by household will only come here if necessary

One of the worst! Never have your prescription ready! Even if they have had your script for 3 days its never ever ready then they tell you a half hour to an hour until its ready! Dont waste your time!! Go elsewhere!!!!!! A negative 🌟

This pharmacy is the worst!!!! I’ve started coming here when the place first opened, i was a happy customer then. As time went on the got worse and worse. the wait is ridiculous, never in my life have i waited so long and this is on numerous occasions. There’s also been many times where I’m standing at the counter and the people behind the counter are clearly staring at me but not acknowledging and I’ve had the same experience through the drive-through where I had to beep my horn Because you’re sitting there looking at me like I’m a fool and they don’t acknowledge me whatsoever and then I see why the line is so crazy because they just ignore people they are extremely disrespectful here. As of today I’m switching pharmacies I would recommend others do the same or don’t even bother coming to this one because you’re gonna end up switching pharmacies regardless

This store just got new management VERY recently. Theyre terrible. Katherine, a store manager, is rude AF and isnt knowledgeable. The gentleman key holder (Alvin, maybe..?) same is to be said (except he wasnt really rude, just ignorant).Bring Jeff back! Bring the old people back! This new crowd has defintely deterred me from going back there any time soon.But, Im sure the opinion of a faithful shopper doesnt really matter.

Pharmacy drive thru isn’t even worth it. You should change pharmacies if you use cvs Newburgh. EVERY TIME I’m picking up medicine I’m in line for over 15 minutes with maybe two cars. Multiple employees inside not even caring about drive thru customers. Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve had the displeasure of using. Hit the call button after 10 minutes at the window with no help and was still ignored

This is by far THE WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Prescriptions that are promised by a certain time are not even ready 3- 4 hours later. They never answer their phone and the staff is rude. Save yourself the aggravation and dont go there.

Over the last two weeks your stores service had gone way down hill. I call in 2 RX to the automated system, one gets cancelled somehow. The other gets filled but no text notifications. I called to figure out whats going on, waited 50 minutes of hold music and gave up after no one answered. Called back the next day, 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer, nothing. The RX that do get filled dont get filled when promised. Ready to find a new pharmacy!

By far the worst CVS I have been to. They called me and said my prescription was ready. When I got there they then said that it would be ready in 2hrs. I then asked when they were opening the following day and they said “idk, probably like at 10 or something” when I went the following morning my medication was still not ready. I will never come to this location again.

On average I have to wait almost a week for the pharmacy to refill any prescription. Nobody answers the phone when I call the pharmacy. And when I physically go there even when they say the medication was expedited for quicker delivery.. it was NOT. Terrible

Dont bother scheduling your Covid Vaccine here. They are unorganized and clueless. First signs say appointment needed but when you get there they allow walk ins ahead of you regardless of your appointment. They dont even know your here even though you check in on line. Sorry bunch of idiots.

Store and staff are great my beef is with the extreme price difference of online product comapred to the store. Mentioned and asked but no one could help adjust the price. It was over a $10 difference for both splints i needed for my wrist. Thats $20 more plus the tax OUTRAGES. Ican understand a few dollars but over $20. I SAVE ORDERING ONLINE PLUS SHIPPING IF NEEDED BUT ITS FREE FOR $35 AND UP

This pharmacy is the WORST. Definitely take the other reviews about the incompetence and potential danger of dealing with them seriously.My medication is supposed to be an auto-fill and I cannot miss a dose. I went to pick it up and the pharmacy manager, after strolling in over 10 minutes later than the pharmacy was supposed to open, frustrated by my presence, told me they didn’t fill my script, didn’t have enough of my medication to fill it that day, and I would have to wait 3 DAYS for their next order to come in. Expecting me to walk away, when I told her I couldn’t NOT have my medication, she became obviously frustrated. I ended up canceling my prescription through them and going to the CVS in Washingtonville (incredibly competent and very friendly/helpful. I was out of there in 15 minutes, including the time it took to fix the other CVS’ mistakes). Do NOT use this pharmacy.

Their pharmacy is a joke know one knows how to do their job, I have never encountered a group of incompetent individuals as the ones that work at this pharmacy. The icing to the cake you ask they are rude and have no respect for your time they are paid to be their so they don’t care how many hours or days you wait for them to messy everything up and take their sweet time to fix it, take it from my bad experiences with this pharmacy and drive to the next cvs it will be worth your sanity.

One of the worst experience with the pharmacy...they didnt have the medicine for my daughter and told me it was in back order to this date they have not called me or said anything about the medicine, thank God it was not an emergency medicine or something like that ...and when i asked if they were going to send me to other places so I can pick it up ...their response was very vague and basically left it up to me to find a solution

***UNSAFE PHARMACY***Recently my wife picked up some antibiotics for my 10 month old son. The pharmacy failed to label the BOTTLE. My wife asked the tech to confirm the dosage at 5ml 2x per day, turns out the Dr. wanted 3ml 2x per day. This resulted my son being OVERDOSED with his medication and resulted in a strong reaction, poor kid. We called and spoke with the pharmacy manager. She was EXTREMELY argumentative, and I felt as I was being spoken down to the entire time. I have never been to a pharmacy where the BOTTLE came UNLABELED and I dont understand how this is safe practice, even if the bag and box came with a label. My biggest problem is not even the mistake but more so the lack of accountability and UNWILLINGNESS to address the issue by the pharmacy manager ( initials DA) and I am nervous that this practice might result in someone becoming seriously injured. I am not one to post reviews, however as a medical professional I felt inclined to report this for the betterment of the community.
