They are friendly. Its one of their main concerns; the dsire to being kind to customers. Customers also need to remember to be patient. No one gets served at the snap of a finger just because its what they personally expect. Yes, customers will hear the owner and other employers giggling and talking to their customers about other silly topics, but that is what makes them so unique ! If we want the same kind of curiosity, then we need to be patient. Remember the culture we are walking into.

Went here for the first time looking to get a couple of Rib Eyes. I dont recall any place where they advertise Prime meat for thier cuts. You know you are going to pay for good beef. Purchased two bone in ribs. There were delicious - outstanding. However, later, i noticed on my recipt that had charged me for using my card. I wuld not expect at the prices they are charging to do this espeically without telling you first. - Very Cheesy !

We were searching for steak because it was so hard to get them at the grocery store. And we found this place. They have great cuts of steaks that are about 25 per cents less than at the grocery store. And no limits on how much to buy. And they have all kinds of meat too. Really good quality, and very reasonable price.

Newington Meat Market really gets it. They offer good food. The service is really nothing short of great. The staff is friendly and is good with all sorts of customers. They clearly know their returning regulars and clearly appreciate them. They treat older customers with respect and dignity.Im a big fan of their lasagna platter. Its just the way that I like it, and the sauce is excellent. I love how, because we used to order it with great regularity at certain holidays, they would call to confirm our order even though we hadnt placed it yet. It really made us feel like our business was wanted and appreciated.I also like how the staff deals with customers that come in with complex orders. Ive seen more than a few customers making extremely complex orders but the staff didnt flinch, eye-roll or make any signs that might indicate how difficult the order might be. They really, really get it.

Friendly, and decent selection of meats, but dont wear masks very well, which makes this a hard pass during the pandemic.

Saw an ad in the local newspaper advertising stuffed sole and stuffed shrimp on sale. Having never been there before I thought I would give the place a try seeing how I was already in Newington that day. Should have known better when the guy had to chip the box of frozen products out of the freezer with a meat cleaver. Worst food I’ve ever tried to eat. Threw it all away.

Underrated longtime fixture just north of Newington center. This place has the freshest meats, sides and sandwiches. Many (but not all) meat cuts are shrinkpacked portioned out for easy execution when you get it home. Its where other local delis buy their meats from - get it from the source & itll be days fresher. Highly recommended.

I came here after seeing the meat was litteraly dyed red at Whole foods and told the owner I know nothing about steak and he gave me a phenomenal cut of meat. My friend knows more about steak than I do and he couldnt believe the price I paid. We will be coming back for more steak ASAP support your local businesses who actually care about the consumer.

I went here for the first time last Thursday to pick out a fresh roast. Paul was very pleasant and cut out the perfect size roast that I needed, he also gave me good information on how to cook it. Everyone loved the roast and asked me where I got it from, I told them Newington Meat Center and showed them their price flyer. I plan on going back :)

This place does not look like the pictures on the website. When I went in there was a girl that ask how she could help but then could not answer the simplest of questions about a prime rib roast’s cost without the owner who was too busy talking about race cars to serve me. False advertising!

Went in for some pork chops today. The butcher helped me out and cut some fresh cuts for me. $5 for 4 chops and they were delicious. Lots of pre marinated choices here as well.

Love good meat markets and this is definitely one. The bundles are reasonable and filled with good quality meat.
