Cool spot for gaming. While I dont love the general location, the store itself is solid. They have a ton of games, equipment, etc. This place even has space for people to come and play games. Its worth checking out if youre into board games, D&D, etc.

Great selection of games and cards. Large selection of accessories like card sleeves and boxes, and lots of interesting dice! Staff is friendly and helpful and makes me feel comfortable as a woman going into a game store. I feel extremely safe going in and when ask for help.

This is hands down one of the cleanest gaming stores in the country. The layout is immaculate, staff was exceptionally prompt, and the prices they both sold products for and bought singles at were exceptionally competitive. I live in New York and regularly travel for events related to card games, and this is now a must stop shop anytime I am within 3 hours of driving distance. If you have a chance to even walk in to look around, take it. You wont be disappointed!

Awesome store for anyone into tabletop gaming of any variety. Half of the giant-sized store is a huge public gaming space, and the other half has shelves of items for sale. Dozens of dice, card sleeves, deck boxes, gaming mats, and other supplies. Hundreds of miniatures painting supplies, Magic singles, and shelf after shelf of boardgames. They also have a literal bank of Magic cards at the back of the store, complete with teller window. Well worth a stop to look around.

Newington does not have a mask requirement. However, this business chooses to have one, along with a vaccine requirement for their playspace. I will not be supporting them.

Incredible store no matter what your gaming interest might be - caters to a wide audience and is welcoming to all. Incredible stock of D&D/RPG minis, and I was VERY impressed by their inventory of indie/third party RPG books. I was able to grab copies of some Swordfish Islands books and a Forbidden Lands box set. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the surrounding location looks/feels a bit rough, and I could see some folks maybe not feeling as safe walking to their cars at night. The stores interior, however, it clean, neat and well-maintained.

I like most of the local gaming stores, this one has a bigger selection of smaller RPGs and minis but more than half the space is dedicated to board games which I also love.They have a great rewards program where you get store credit on a loyalty card. Makes large purchases feel less hard on the wallet.

I went here for the first time for some MTG cards. Amazing customer service. Clean store, huge selection. This is my new store of choice for these types of things, and its twice the distance of my two most local stores.

Large game store, maybe one of the biggest in the area. Its clean, spacious and has a friendly staff. As my opening statement implies they have a huge selection of board games, RPGs and TCGs.

Great place to buy wargaming supplies and models, as well as board games. The prices are already good and their reward program is a nice bonus.

I really like this place. Looks good and inviting. I only had 1 issue. There was a lady behind the counter that was far too aggressive. Idk if she thought me and my cousin were trouble makers or whatnot. But it felt wrong so we cut our visit short.

Staff was super helpful and friendly! Lots of choices, including Warhammer, D&D, Star Wars, Legend of the five rings, Magic, and assorted accessories for model panting. They also have a wide selection of dice. Great for gifts, and they also have a rewards program. I will be going back again soon.

The new sign makes it hard to miss. Tons of mtg, Warhammer and a bunch of other stuff I dont know about.

As of June 2021, the immense games library is not open. But you can still rent a table. The coolest thing about this game shop is that they support games on kickstarter. Then we can go in and buy these unique kickstarter games, usually with all of the kickstarter bonuses.

My friends and I love coming here. We could spend over an hour in here and still not see everything. Such a huge selection of all sorts of games. I wish they had more Pokémon stuff in stock but it just sells out so fast lol. Great selection of sleeves and deck boxes. I appreciate that most of all. I don’t have to buy those online anymore, thanks to them. Worth the 30 min drive for me. I would recommend them to anyone. Happy they take cash again, (at the time of writing this 3/18/2021) but keep in mind they can’t give change.

They have awesome events n prizes u can win from points earned...... right now you cant stop in and sell cards however you must send in a list n they will take what they want during an appointment. Cant speak highly enough of this place. Friendly, helpful staff. Welcoming to beginning gamers, girls, women, and LGBTQ+ folks, which is sadly NOT the norm yet for gaming stores, but Tabletop Gaming Center is leading the change.Looking at the whole store will take you at least an hour! And what a delicious hour it is. Giant, alphabetically organized shelves of tabletop games. Huge selection of card collection & protection supplies for your collectible card games. Gaming models and painting supplies for Warhammer, D&D, and similar. Shelves upon shelves of game books and manuals. And a giant glass display case filled with envy-inducing Magic the Gathering cards. (I saw 7 of the original Power 9 cards there yesterday, for the first time in my life!) Its lovely to get all dizzy gazing at all the games out there you never heard of, or didnt know existed.

This is literally one of the best game stores in CT. A one stop shop for all your gaming needs. They have one of the biggest selection boardgames that I have ever seen.

I stopped in earlier today (12/27). My fiance and I have been looking to get back into Magic the Gathering. After a 20 year hiatus we were lost. These guys were friggin awesome and super helpful and I cant recommend them enough!

This place gets so busy. They have one person at the front running around doing everything while the other staff hide in corners. I had mentioned that I thought it was odd while standing there and then proceeded to hear the staff make fun of me and call me rude behind a curtain.

Tabletop has become our go-to game store. Even during the pandemic, they have done a great job of making the store feel safe and welcoming, with the same great selection and awesome service as before.

I mean the Photo says it all. If you wanna pay prices that you would to a scalper then this is the place. And not even just pay scalper prices, limit you for it! They want to stop scalpers with high prices, and also reduce purchasing limit when only one of these tactics would suffice. So they stop scalpers, by becoming the scalpers. This is exactly what Bandai and the Official Digimon TCG was making posts about. But gotta give kudos where it is, they have made it clear they care more about making money instead of building a community and looking out for a customer base.

This has been my local LGS for years and its a very enjoyable place to go for board and card games. The staff is always amazing to talk to, knowledgeable, and friendly. Events feel like a gathering of friends and I cant wait for them to be held again. The store still has playing space at this time, but is subject to call ahead booking due to Covid protocols.

Best place ever! First time going here was amazing, great selection, good prices, and a place for all of your friends and you to meet up and play, or hangout! Ever since my first visit Ive been going back! The staff are awesome and the people there are too. 10/10 would recommend!!!

This is hands down the best tabletop focused store Ive ever visited. The staff is knowledgeable. The shelves are stocked with an amazing variety of games. The prices are fair. There is tons of room for gaming if you bring your own. There are several groups that play there regularly. I love this place.

To purchase cards was an extreme inconvience having to literally order online and wait for 12 cards while the whole time the workers sat there talking then tried to tell me i couldnt pay with cash which is illegal first off its US currency you have to accept it. Second off the customer service was non existent extremely unfriendly just gonna order my cards online now to avoid hassles. Would hate to play any games there knowing that I would be uncomfortable the entire time

If you are looking for something related to modern nerd culture, such as Magic the gathering, Warhammer, or boardgames this is your stop! They have a huge variety of board games available.Only issue was no employee said Hi or asked if I needed help while browsing, wasnt busy at the time, also when I did as for the employee that helped me I felt was annoyed I asked for help. I do have friends that go here often and they said they are surprised by this and they say their experiences are opposite of what I got and is more likely a one off.

One of, if not the best, game shops Ive ever visited. Jam packed with games for all tastes. Miniatures, cards, tabletop, role playing. And carried items in stock that are hard to find anywhere else. Staff were all friendly and approachable, and had great suggestions for games. The highest recommendation I can give.

Excellent staff of amazing folks. A vast selection of games. I even went for an adventurers league session and had a blast. I think whats most important about TTGC is no one feels like they are talking down to you about any questions you might have everyone there is super passionate about teaching and educating people.

This store and its staff is absolutely wonderful! I went in here completely clueless but wanting to start playing board games and two lovely employees, a woman whos name I didnt catch and a man named Ted, spent almost an hour walking me around, giving suggestions, and helping to ease me into this new hobby! They were considerate and never rushed me. I highly recommend this place for all your gaming needs, no matter your skill level!

Wow! This place is amazing and a must visit if you love board or card games. They have it all and you try before you buy to be sure its a good fit. You can find other like minded folks to play games with too. My step son introduced me to this ultra cool place and Im super excited to go find a new game and get started playing. I had no idea this kind of place existed. Im lucky to have such a cool step son... I learn something fantastically new every time we get together. Grab a loved one and go play a game then buy it and keep playing at home too.

I know the owner, Halden, runs an exceptional shop and I hear nothing but great reviews from friends and family to back that up, so I wanted to add my own piece here. Very cool place. They have events all week and when we came on a Sunday it was absolutely packed. Wish I had a place like this as a teen. An amazing selection of eclectic board games and tons of accessories you didnt even know existed. Yes, you will find better prices at Amazon but if we dont support local places like this they will go away.

Ive been to game stores all across the country and this place really impressed me. I came here for a Pro Tour Qualifier for Magic and the store really exceeded my expectations. They responded to me quickly online when I asked about specific cards in stock. The store was large, clean and well staffed. They hired way more than enough judges for the event. The location was great and had options for quick food. A+.

A great place to purchase and try out a variety of board games. They have a good inventory of product. They also have an area to play games, card games, hold matches or battles. They have a really positive atmosphere and helpful staff. The place is clean and easy to get to. They are a good place for kids and adults of all ages to have fun and play board games, card games and more. They have a lot of Magic Cards available as well.

My wife and I spent the day visiting local hobby shops in CT. This was a great shop that had a pretty large selection on board games, card games, citadel/vallejo/army painterand DnD/40k/Age of Sigmar minuatures. There was even a section for some used minis that were for sale.Though the table area was closed due to COVID, there is a large section for table gaming and cards.I think this is a really good shop to look for new games, resupply paints, and test out new games.

Worst tabletop store in the area. The Board Room in Middletown or Imperial in Southington are far better. Don’t waste your time with these people....

This place is great. Rows and rows of board games, CCGs, figurines, and plenty of space to host tournaments or just get together with your own group. I went at what was supposedly a slow business time and there were still plenty of friendly customers to meet and chat. All around good experience, would definitely be here all the time in my bachelor days.

Every thing here is a work of art. Love it. Friendly and inviting. Serious Card Tournaments and Pokemon Sundays.

Went in today with my boyfriend to browse MTG related products and the staff were amazing! They really helped us in choosing the right products and hsd so much knowledge on the different sets and cards it was unbelievable☺ It was a very fun and kind atmosphere and I applaud the two employees, in which the names escape me, that helped us so much. Im so happy I heard of this store and decided to give it a visit, will most certainly come back☺☺

Great selection, friendly staff, and lots of play area.I wanted to buy one of their games, while trading in one of mine. I talked to Danny on the phone and he said that it takes them a few days to evaluate the game, and he was also going to be away for the weekend. I asked that since my drive was far if they would be okay to mail me a check with whatever their offer was (I needed to get rid of my game in order to buy the new one). They said that was no problem at all.When they made the offer, they gave me the store-credit value instead of the cash value (because I technically traded in the game to buy the new game, had time allowed it would have been a trade in anyways). I thought that was really cool and understanding.Overall, great experience with great people.

I have been coming to this store for a couple of years now after my buddy brought me here. I have got to say, I love it so much, the ability to come to a LGS for not only the cards and accessories you need for MTG, but for other types of tcgs and even board games and collectible figures, any chance I get I come to get cards, sleeves, deck boxes etc. and even sit down and have a nice safe place to play some games and a great community to boot, the staff are so nice and easy to talk and I have made some awesome new friends as well. If you are considering a new place to go for your tabletop needs, for sure come here, you wont be disappointed.

This is a very spacious store. Half is dedicated to a huge selection of ethusiast board games, miniature games, and card games. The other is open tables of different shapes and sizes to play all those games on. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, snacks and drinks available, super clean bathrooms.

Table top gamers and TCG players have a home here. The store is kept extreamly clean the staff and owner walk around engaging customers and tending to the needs of the many. Honestly feel like they should branch out.

The best staff, most amazing games and events, but what really sets this place off is their cleanliness. The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and free of smells. For a nerd heaven, that is saying something. The new owner is so nice compared to the Connecticon guy and they really go out of their way to ensure they stock as wide a variety of games as possible. Magic is huge there, but it doesnt overshadow the miniatures, board gaming or RPGs. Next door to an amazing deli and across the street from a pretty damn good pizza joint.

This place is awesome. I go there for my Wh40k supplies but they have everything. From pokemon cards to board game to tabletop I really mean they have everything. When I bring my kids with me to be my supplies they love it here too. I always some how end up buying pokemon on top of my table top game supplies when I bring them :)
