The store has a great selection of items and I had a good experience the one other time I went here. I had to pick up 2 items today and upon checking out, was asked for my phone number by the cashier. I asked why and she explained the rewards program, I declined and she changed her tone and then said if I didn’t sign up for the rewards program then I wouldn’t be able to return or exchange any items I purchase (I said this was fine bc I wasn’t planning to return these items). However, this “policy” didn’t sound like a real thing to me and when I looked at my printed receipt, the policy for non-members doing returns is exactly what I expected - just bring your original receipt. I don’t appreciate being told I have to sign up for a rewards program in order to shop at a store when it’s not true. I understand the associates may be encouraged to sign customers up but citing a fake policy was pushy and unnecessary. I’ll stick to Sephora.

Lots of friendly staff that great you as soon as you enter. Easy one stop shop so I could avoid the mall. Tons of name brand cosmetics and hair products. Free samples are advailable if you as for them including foundation match. Large parking lot, clean bathrooms and handicapped access.

I was looking for 3 different items; Ulta website and app showed products in stock at this location. 1 of the items was out of stock. 1 of the items havent been released at this location yet (although its available in several other stores) and the 3rd item was in the stock room because the employees didnt know where it should go in the store. Most of the employees were polite and friendly, but a couple were quite rude.

The team they have on the floor is fantastic. Ive gotten amazing advice, expert color matching, and beautiful make-up application. The customer service is excellent. Love this place. Thank you guys so much for always being helpful and professional through the last 4 years Ive been a customer there.

Clerk was very short with me because I didnt belong to their club ..and repeatedly told me I couldnt return what I bought!!! I bought shampoo...who returns shampoo??? As well the receipt said I could return I. Ten days...so yeah.no thank you

Unfortunately, it wont let me select anything less than 1 star but I am very disappointed in this particular store. Outside of the lacking selection with many out of stocks, there are no Ultas near where I live so I drove 45 minutes to pick up my October birthday gift on 11/1 just for them to rudely tell me I was one day late and they cannot give me the gift. The whole reason I drove here was for this present and Ulta had been closed for the longest time so I did not know they were open for shoppers until my friend that lives in Portsmouth informed me that this store opened up again, earlier that week. I understand it was technically November but my birthday is in the last week of October and I attempted to pick up my gift barely a week after my birthday to no avail. At least Sephora gave me the birthday gift no problem that same day. I understand if its the policy but a little empathy can go a long way or at least the inexperienced cashier couldve acted like she cared and checked with someone. Highly doubt anyone in charge of the store will see this but if you are wanting to get your birthday gift you better arrive the second its your birthday otherwise youll waste your time.

Too many employees standing around asking you all the time if you’re all set if I need help I will ask asked one of them if they could open up a package so that I could see the inside instead of me just opening it myself and she rudely snapped at me no we can’t you can return it if you don’t like it yeah I’m all set

Each consultant is friendly inviting compassionate and non judgemental. They work with you where ever you are in your beauty needs and regime. Know nothing? No worries, they will get you to a gentle start. Deep into cosmetics? they will help you with comparisons and with whats new. Definite shop here. Testers on everything and clean up cloths too.

I recently broke my foot and have to use crutches. I found out that not only does this location lack handicap accessibility, but the doors are HEAVY. I tried to open the doors myself because there was literally no one at the front of the store, got my hand caught in the door as it knocked me over, and fell on my bad foot while my hand was still it the door. One employee finally saw me, literally just freed my hand by opening the door and left me there without asking if I needed ice or to talk to a manager. I called afterward and the manager did everything she needed to do as well as the woman she forwarded me to. I was informed that their “accident team” or something like that would contact me and she basically just wanted to know if I got hurt and acted completely uninterested in the fact that these doors are dangerous even if I wasn’t on crutches. I’m lucky I wasn’t alone, because I literally would have just been there until that employee or a customer came out. But the reality is that some people have to go alone places when they’re injured or permanently disabled. It’s incredibly ableist to lack the proper accessibility when you have handicapped spots outside of your business. They told me that they only have so much money for special doors and it takes a couple months, but if I had seriously hurt myself on top of being humiliated and left in pain while my hand was inside a heavy door, you bet they would have had the money for a settlement. Will not go to ulta until this is fixed and I buy A LOT of beauty products, so their loss.

Unreliable. Second time an appointment was cancelled. I had a trip planned which I wanted my hair done for instead Im left scrambling to find another place at the last minute. I understand stuff happens but super inconvenient twice!!

I had outstanding customer service from Emma today. She noticed that the foundation I chose was not the same formulation that I am accustomed to using. She also noticed that my eyebrow product was too dark and would not produce the desired result. I was WOWED to receive such personal care in an era of self checkout.

More lumens than the sun lighting up the store. Bring sunglasses. On the brightside, youll be able to see all the smelly smells that smell smelly. Seriously, i think somebody spilled... everything.Great variety, well stocked.

Customer service is absolutely fantastic. I’m always greeted by a smiling consultant and a polite questioning if I need help finding anything in the store. I came in once looking for a primer well suited for acne-prone skin, and the consultants teamed up together to help me find a product. Great collection of drugstore beauty products and high end items as well, plus supplies for hair care and bathing (sugar scrubs, body washes, etc).

Manager is so mean... I feel like if you hate people ...go find a desk job! if you are a manager you have to be patient and answering people ... its all taking care of customer need.. dont come to work looks like youre hating your life... I really wonder who promote her to take up managing position

The staff was okay - there were about 3-4 staff members standing around as I was walking around and not one turned to me and asked if I needed any assistance. I didn’t care as much - the annoying part of my experience was the girl working at the register who couldn’t comprehend what I was saying. I had a “20% off one qualifying item” coupon and I asked her if it would take 20% off the lowest item or the highest item on my purchase...she didn’t understand what I was saying and just scanned the coupon. We found out that it took it off the lowest item and I asked her if we could redo the order so that I could use the coupon for a separate purchase on my highest item, which was $30 compared to the $4 item it took 20% off. She said that she’d have to redo my whole order and made it seem like such a hassle, so I was like..okay...? She definitely didn’t care about making my experience the best possible and I ended up wasting a coupon and leaving the store dissatisfied.

Its alright .. dosent have a lot of things Ive gone in looking for but it does have a lot to offer still. Went in the other day(laundry day) in sweatpants and slippers and they didnt treat me like the mess I looked like..haha. very nice employees.:)

I have been in this Ulta three times cause I travel extensively for work and stopped in. There are tons of associates standing around and no one offers to help. I asked the MAC associate where the next closest MAC was inside an Ulta and she said I dont know then proceeded to ignore me. There was a line at the register and only 1 person assisting customers despite there being several associates walking around and socializing with each other. WORST ULTA. I put my purchase down and walked out. I will never be going back to this Ulta.

Great people, super products. Long-time customer. Yesterday, however, was duped into buying all products from Living Proof, which I had never tried, by a very attractive 60-ish customer, who I later found out was a sales rep for Living Proof. Used it, nice products, but became severely allergic to the scent, if you could call it that! Not pleasant at all. Cross between a plastic smell and a caustic chemical smell. Brought it back, told manager. Will continue to frequent Ulta but will never take advice from other customers. Duped and paying for it with Benadryl.

Worst customer service EVER. They state that walk-ins are welcome at their salon. They are open until 6:00 on Sunday. Arrived at 4:00 with my daughter. One person waiting. Lone stylist plucked her own eyebrows, then swept floor. Then asked waiting person, Oh, did you want something? She did. A trim on a mane of curly hair. Then stylist looked at me. Im not sure if I can take you today. I was there with my 10yo daighter who needed a trim on straight hair. Then she agreed we should come back in half an hour. We shopped next door, saw the mane lady walk by done after 30 min, and went back to find the stylist walking out the front door for the day at 4:40 (store and salon open until 6:00.) Oh, I didnt get a lunch so I already punched out for the day. Manager: Yeah, she had to punch out before 5:00. Me: Why do you have published walk-in hours until 6:00? Manager: Oh, thats only if someone is here. Gah! No apology. No offer of appointment another day. No free sample of lip gloss for my very disappointed daughter. Well never be back! Just lost my DevaCurl purchase dollars for life. Way to go, millennials!
