Wide variety of merchandise, good deals, and staff who is, frankly, really nice. I have been doing business with Target for years and I have always given them high marks for good prices on all the items that are overpriced in traditional supermarkets. Like paper products, cleaning supplies, personal care items like body wash and shampoo, and housewares. Packaged grocery items are also reasonable. Their credit card gives a 5% discount and their online ordering is a breeze. Reasonable approach to returns as well. Check them out.

Went into cvs to get a booster shot snd told go on inter net. Senty name in twice never heard back. Seen on internet walgreen to get my booster shot and had my shot 3 hrs later

The worst Target I have ever been to. The manager continues to slash the number of customer service employees, making it impossible to receive (or even ask for) help. They consistently do not receive, or at least do not stock, new merchandise. Apparently empty shelve are better for business than having products available for purchase? I have contacted Target corporate about this store on several occasions and they claim to have passed the feedback on to the store manager. Yet nothing ever changes or improves. This location is closest to where I live, but nine times out of ten I leave empty handed and have to drive to another store to find what I’m looking to purchase anyway, so I think I should stop wasting time even trying to shop at this store first. It’s a shame, because this store used to be a great one.

Their drive up service sucks as well as their customer service desk. Almost everytime that I stopped here, there are always missing items from my orders. And when I try to contact customer service, no one is answering the phone. Its just horrible. They would locate the missing items but then they cant refund me over the phone. So its either I go in to pick up whatever was missing from my order or I go in to get a refund for it.

All I can comment on is their curbside pickup, which I do not recommend at this location. For my most recent of 3 experiences, it took 15 minutes for my order to be brought out (despite the fact that I gave them a heads-up that I was on my way); and upon arriving home I discovered that about half my order was substituted for wrong items, not what I ordered. Clearly, the order was carelessly fulfilled. And as I mentioned, that was the last of 3 poor experiences--last meaning my most recent, and also because I will not go back there for curbside again.

The cashier was so rude and unprofessional. She seemed angry.

Its great! Has everything I need for groceries. I work right next door. When I forget my lunch its good to know I have a place with fresh fruit, and plenty of options.

This Target is okay. I shop here weekly. Its not the most organized and the nicest one Ive been to but it is adequate for what I need. I realize there are staffing shortages everywhere but the checkout lines are usually kind of long, even before the impact of COVID there was a struggle.

I have shopped here in the past but was often unable to find what I was looking for. On Saturday, August 22nd, based on a tip from my sister, I managed to find a dishpan! It was the fourth store I checked that day for what turned out to be a $2 purchase. I was so happy! Two outlets of another large chain store had nothing. Even dish drainers were a rare commodity. I’m not sure what is the problem but many chain department store shelves are often poorly stocked. Lack of inventory or staff to do the stocking?As far as the Newington Target, I must say I was shocked by the general disorder and mess all over. It was early evening and I don’t blame management or the staff for the appearance, but shoppers who are careless. It looked as though the place had been ransacked by the Taliban!

Clean helpful helpful employees you can find things that you need to find in every aisle there is no mess very appreciative my kids enjoyed it you love the toys that they can find and books I cant forget about you. Yeah Target

Im more likely to recommend Target to a friend or family member because of the superior service I receive from Target and the cleanliness of the store. The prices, selection and value of the products are another reason I would recommend Target to a family or friend.

Unacceptable checkout and no leadership apparent at this Target. In store at 10:30am 8/20/2021. One slow checkout lane open with 6-8 people in line. Then the cashier closed the lane - with people still in line. Told cashier there were people in line. She said she was moving the lane not closing it, which turned out to be untrue. Another lane opened, and store personnel told this cashier not to turn his light on. Why not turn the light on? Why close the only open lane before opening another one? Even the self-checkout had 8-10 people waiting. No sign of any supervision or management. Where is the store manager? Nowhere to be found. Where are other cashiers at 1030am on a Friday morning? Nowhere to be seen. One other store associate near the cashiers and all hes doing is straightening carts. This is not the first time we have been burned by the Newington Target as far as the store being totally unprepared to handle customers. As far as the Newington Target is concerned, it is actually quicker for us to order from Amazon and have our items delivered same-day at no fee.

Great shopping experience at Target in Newington. First time in the store in many months, so impressed with the selection of products, the cleanliness of the store and entire experience.

Store is always stocked with great prices. Employees do a great job of keeping self check out moving quick.

I had to buy my item from target online to get the right price. The in-store price was 35% higher. I picked it up at the store on the same day which means they had that item on their shelfThis is crazy they should sell items for the same price whether you buy it online or in store.

I practically live in target i take my grandson there once or twice a week for toys. Everyone is nice for the most part at this target.

Normally pretty clean joint, the downside is the understaffed cashier problem with the USUAL mile long self check out line. Never fails, anytime you go you wait. The little pay with a card station before self check out doesn’t help, just add a cashier or two or some more self check out machines

Price Match happened to end “today “ when I looked online and made sure of any exclusions or anything that might affect price matching at my visit. Manager Jake also added Apple products are excluded, when asked to show me where it said it. He insisted it’s a policy from his upper management and could not show where it stated that Apple products did not apply.

This location is huge! Well stocked worth the drive, I had tried three other targets looking for some kitchen items. Sold out every where, this location had ample stock.

The associate was extremely welcoming and friendly.

I love target! My son loves target! My husband loves target. This one is smaller than the other ones but its staff are also nicer than the others Ive been too. Its super clean, well stocked. I like that I can also do grocery shopping here as well.

I love the cleanliness of the store. The employees are right there wiping down carriages and registers to stop the spread of germs especially during this time that is great!!! Target is on top of their game, especially during Covid!! I will definitely be a returning customer! 👍

This is quite possibly the worst Target I have ever been to. We went to the store last evening, it was filthy and completely dishevelled. We went there specifically to buy a vacuum cleaner, purchased one opened it today and it was missing pieces. Called the store several times at different time frames during the day today no one answered the phone at all hitting any extension. I was calling to inquire if they had another one available. I wouldve gone to a store with one if they had answered the phone. When I got to customer service desk a young women did the return, I told her it was missing parts and then watched another employee put it back on the sales floor!! I will be contacting corporate.

Recent renovations are good. Chic n a. Clean look. Well spaced aisles. Target is trying hard to stay competitive with both brick n mortar stores like Walmart n online retailers like Amazon. I like it so far.

My preferred location, not as crowded as other locations.I had an issue the other week. I was waiting in the only cashiers line with a bunch of items. The register suddenly closed without offering a second register, forcing everyone to go to the back of the self check out line, behind people who got in line after us. This caused a lot of anxiety in fellow customers, who needed the assistance (many items, paying cash, etc). After joining the other line, they opened another register, causing more confusion and frustration. I essentially waited twice as long than I shouldve. Management 101: dont close a line without an alternative ready to go.

Its convenient they come out quickly but check your order they occasionly put the wrong items in your order.

Pthetic online order & pick up service at this store. The staff asks to drive up to the store instead of bringing the order to the parking spot and then forgot to bring out the order. Nobody picks up the phone at their customer care extension.They also mark the items as picked up before even bringing the order to the car so you are stuck with going in and asking for stuff and wasting time that you are supposed to save. Happened to me twice. Also gave defective item and marked them as delivered before bringing it to the car. Complained to management at store and they are just indifferent about it. Awful!

Target store hours have been a lot because their hours were Monday-Saturday 8am-11pm and Sunday 8am-10pm or Monday-Saturday 8am-10pm and Sunday 8am-9pm. Target has a new store brand good and gather so Targets brands are good and gather market pantry and up and up brand.

I always find the tea I look for plus I love the dollar spot. I save money when I shop groceries there.

Check out was a complete nightmare. They had 1 cash register open with at least 8-9 people in line. The guy working the register reminded me of the sloth working at the dmv in zootopia. There were other employees just sitting there watching and not hopping on a register. Other customers even asked the manager why there werent more registers open, and she basically shoed them away, showing total disregard for the customers

Not bad considering that its still under construction, one of the best upkept targets. Starbucks still isnt finished yet and thats half the reason for going hahaha. Helpful staff and friendly service. Best youd expect ehile.during renovation. Parking lot isnt bad to maneuver either even with all the trailers and fences up.

Very clean, organized, the workers are friendly and work with a sense of urgency also, i always find that this target is stocked but lately since the holiday, its been kind of hard to find what you need... hopefully that will change after the holiday.

Target on the Berlin turnpike is always a pleasure to shop at. Great deals, and theres always a treasure to find. Also the clearance sections have really great stuff. The staff is usually friendly and willing to help.

Great location with a store that is well laid out! They have hand sanitizer at the entrance and an employee wiping down the carts in between customers. The staff here are helpful and organized, which makes shopping here a pleasure.

I shop here every week for grocery essentials and house hold items. Staff is pretty friendly but it lacks cleanliness and organization, especially in the women’s restroom! Very disappointing.

Ordered VENOM the movie from Target 🎯 thought I was going to be able to pickup in Southington but they were out of stock of this movie, and was given the choice to pickup it up in Newington. Walked in right to order pickup and it took all of 5 minutes.

I usually spend it at least 2 or $300 at Target however this trip I think we only spent $52 which is a good thing yes but I went there over the intentions of buying myself some clothes since Ive already purchased all the kids school clothes and supplies and havent purchased anything from myself and God knows how long. I literally left there with not a thread of clothing or shoes for myself. But Im guessing the bright side is this The money stays in my bank yeah thats all I got The money stays in my bank.

I use the pick-up feature quite often due to COVID. Yesterday, two items were missing and I didnt realize until I got home. Ive now spend 30 minutes just trying to call the store to have my issue resolved. No one has answered from ANY dept. WHAT A JOKE!

Target is a clean and organized store which makes it pleasant to visit. They had a good assortment of cleaning products as well as grocery items which make it a one stop for my mid week needs.

Used to be short lines and fast service now it’s long lines and poor service because of self checkout being the main service

Newington Target has very very rude employees. Only one register open and only two self checkouts open. Waiting in line once again and then check myself out..Never shop here again..Never!!

This Target is always clean and organized and it has a Starbucks. They wont pick up the phone if you call with questions.

Very small selection of food but has a very good selection of clothes, accessories, and items for your home.

This is your typical target. Things are little more expensive than the competition across the street, but the quality seems a little better. The quality of the people might be a little better too. Something else I noticed when I was last there was the shopping carts are nicer than most, they glide quietly and effortlessly through the store.

Placed an order online and received an email to pick up but once I got there the app or the email had no communication with the employees at the front desk. I had to walk in and when I did there were 3 girls in their twentys talking very loud as if they are at home. Nobody payed any attention that I was standing there till i had to butt in and ask do I speak to you or do I have to go somewhere else? I just wish there were better customer service and acknowledgement when I pull into drive up parking spot. I had 3 employees walk by my car and didnt even ask if I needed help..

Target is very easy to navigate for the things I need.

I love coming here and the employees are extremely nice and knowledgeable but I was extremely disturbed with one worker in particular. I’m not sure if she was a manager or something but they called her Cici. If she’s a manager then she definitely needs to be trained on how to talk to the employees. I witnessed her yelling and flipping out on two of the associates and again I don’t know the back story but that’s just not how you talk to people. I’m a frequent shopper and I’ve never seen that before so it really bothered me to witness that. There’s a whole pandemic going on amongst other life issues that people are dealing with at home and they don’t deserve to come to work to be talked at as if they’re anything less than human. Such a shame for someone like to work there when it’s quite the opposite of what target stands for.

Hit or miss. Sometimes they have it all and sometimes they are low in stock. Overall better quality and better presentation than Walmart.

They have a very good selection; they dont have a deli or bakery, though. I would definitely recommend it other than that, though.

The music in this Target makes me feel ill. Its way too upbeat and poppy for my tastes. It makes me want to leave and choose other options next time. One or two super upbeat pop songs might be tolerable, but its RELENTLESS. Also the design of the entrance/exit can easily lead to a collision of pedestrians. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Some employees need to learn basics of how to treat customers as Humans. It you don’t like your job basically quit and not give customers hard time.

I would never in my life come to this location ever again placed a PAYED order online I was told i would receive my order the next day of purchasing it. Here I am waiting and waiting so I called no answer for 2 hours finally got threw by calling electronics so they can transfer me to the service desk finally get threw to the service desk for them to tell me there’s no more in stock so here I am just payed for this item that I was never going to receive never got a Email about the item being out of stock. The manger was very rude and didn’t have one answer for me very poor costumer service. Placed my same order in south Windsor and got my confirmation email my items was pulled and ready for pick up in 15 min you should use there pick up drop off plan or maybe hire some employees that stay off the phone and actually care for there customers.....

I totally understand needing to wear a mask in the store 100% and agree with the governors ruling. What I didn’t like was how rude one of the blonde hair employees was to me when I lowered my face mask for a millisecond to ask my mom (who could not hear me) what she needed. If the employee had simply said “please remember to keep your face mask on” it would have sufficed but instead she yelled at me down the isle and told me if I wasn’t going to put it on then I had to leave the store. (I was clearly wearing it). But just so you know I’ve been wearing the same mask for 2 weeks so whether I’m wearing it or not it would not have made a difference. Just please have your employees remember it pays to be kind. Thank you!
