They thank there slick food is high as hell then they add 10%at the checkout tell you bye .... at least Kroger sells quality

In these times this is a great place to save money. They honestly have some of the best meats in the area.

This store is currently being renovated so expect some construction. Definitely not a top tier market place, but good prices on everything I purchased or price compared. Will shop again.

It wasnt bad . Your typical supermarket. I was able to get in and out, with no problems. Plus the prices wasnt bad at all.

LARGE variety of items, ethic foods - from Jamaican to Polynesian to Oriental and Mexican! Low prices so can afford to try different things.

Wonderful place to shop. Lots of Jamaican foods. Great low prices too except for the extra tax that you have to pay. I was able to get items that I have never had here before. I went way over board in my shopping

Great prices and the workers are very cordial and considerate. It does get busy but a manager will make a PA for all cashiers to come to the front to assist whenever the lines are long, which is great. They have universal products that you may not find in other stores. Just remember, 10% is added to every order, although certain items are inexpensive compared to other grocery stores.

Good place to find alot of 🇯🇲 products. Prices are good. You will be charged a 10% cost plus, but still worth the shopping here.

I just have to share how incredible the customer service is at this store. Several weeks back I inquired about a particular product which I honestly didn’t know still existed. I hadn’t seen it in at least twenty years and hadn’t been able locate it anywhere online. I did know that Food depot still stocked things made by the parent company though. So I asked, and then on returning today found that someone had indeed located and ordered the item. Its amazing that in this day and age an employee here truly took the time to find such an oddity for me; a bit of nostalgia. Thank you so very much!

I have shopped here for the past 15 years, at least twice a week. But since this year, 2020... the prices have gone waaayyy up. I look at all of the store adds in my area for the best prices every week (Publix, Kroger, Little Giant, Aldi and Food Depot). Food depot is higher now than all of them... AND... they charge a 10% on top of their high prices. That 10% never use to bother me because they were alot cheaper. I cant believe it!!! I shop at Kroger and Aldi now for everything which I never use to.

Well if you enjoy ox tails, Food depot is the place to go. I know they are expensive but its reasonable here, get some in a crockpot with onions and garlic. You wont be disappointed, and check out their prices on seasoning it good.

Considering all the bad remarks I had heard, bout it being a second class store I loved the fresh produce, meats and all the groceries..Spent $105 when at Krogers or Public it would have been lots more! Loved mostly the meat choices and the prices!

This used to be one of my favorite places to buy meat and produce. I dont know what happened but they fell off. It was my intention to go here and purchase some Turkey Wings for Sunday Dinner but that did not happen.I saw some nice produce. That section still looked good however the meat section was not in good shape. For a Sunday they didnt have much of a selection. The turkey wings were old. They had black marks on them. That definitely is not a fresh product. I left them right there in the case. It also smelled as if one of those refrigerated cases was out of order. Food Depot need to look into that.On the flip side I loved the wine selection they have there. I was looking for Stella Rosa Wine but I dont think they carry it here at this store.If you are looking for corner store variety food and snacks...this place has it all. They even have funeral flowers.

Had what I needed and the store was clean and well staffed.

It doesnt have the upkeep as a Kroger or Publix. The story is a little dated but it is essentially clean. Prices are good on most items, but there is a 10% charge added to the bill. They say it is because of the low cost of there groceries.

Good place to buy meat in bulk if your doing raw meat diet for dog. Other then that, not really...

The worse supermarket I have ever spent my good money on. First of all, the meat is not USDA Choice, it is USDA Select. The produce is outrageously high priced. The produce that is marked for discount added up to be higher than the regular price. Buyers beware. I checked my receipt as usual and I was charged for watermelon that I did not buy. She pushed watermelon instead of bananas. The manager was very accommodating, thus refunded my money. Oh, forgot another thing....they charge a surcharge of 10percent at checkout. What is that about. Never going back.

This store sell lots of old brown looking meats. When you inquire about the meat, the meat department lie and say they just got the meat in. Old meat causes cancer

Item wasnt registered and workers had to go find it on the shelves. However they did their best and didnt take long.

Not my favorite grocery store, but we often shop there because they have a fresh meat selection that is perhaps the best in town.But, I dislike the store because of their pricing policy.The store claims that its prices are at or near cost, and then a 10% surcharge is added at checkout. But, it seems deceptive to me to charge 10% more at checkout than the price marked on the goods.

Great place for fresh meat. They have real butcher to cut trim, whatever you need.
