I appreciate late afternoon-evening hours but it’s unpleasant walking in and being the only customer in the entire place and the clerk and another vendor act as if you interrupted their conversation and then make you feel more awkward by pausing, without greeting, stare, and continue their discussion while you walk around. For me, hurriedly. Who wants to give this place my money?
Great place! Love shopping here!
Looked up online to make sure there were open on Monday drive 30 min to come look for some things and they were not even open. I tired to call with no answer. Will not come back to this place because they aren’t even open per there hours stated this is very disappointing.
I used to love this place but the woman who runs it now Id just rather not
Fantastic mix of items, helpful staff and fair prices.
Found a few nice glass pieces at awesome prices today. A couple left behind with no price but I can deal.
This place is awesome
Hours are incorrect on Google Maps and the door. Very frustrating.
Always has something we can use in our 100 yr old house.
A great place if youre looking for vintage items
Great place but some items are a little pricey
The Monmouth Street Antiques has many interesting treasures but lacks friendliness and eagerness to resolve customer questions. This business would rate 5 stars if The former manager and antiques expert was still working there. Betty made shopping fun, friendly and enlightening
This great antique mall is situated in a perfectly charming neighborhood. The lady behind the counter has a deliciously wicked sense of humor. Dont forget to check out the doors and other architectural gems located in the creepy basement.
Such a cute antique store. They have a literal ton of awesome stuff!
I enjoy going into this shop, for the purpose of finding ideas an unique/ antiques. Currently, their furniture invintory is sparse. I will continue to stop in, with the hope, of finding another dresser.
Nice place to tool around in for an hour or so. Large variety of things. Pricing is normal antique store pricing. On street parking so youm may have to park away from it. Good thing is that there are no parking meters.
Great place. Awesome people to be around and the best experience I have ever had. This place is where it is at. Definitely recommend it.
Oh wow just found this store on Monmouth Street in Newport Kentucky this store is nice size it has just about anything and everything you can imagine antique and some things that aint antique but I spent about 45 minutes walking around in there and believe that I would pie need two more trips to see everything I highly recommend it and their staff is very willing to help with any questions
I have purchased several items here. Love this place
Plenty to see and lots of interior hardware if you are restoring an old house. The staff are friendly and selection is great as well.
Love this shop. Always find great buys. Its a real treasure hunt!
Love
Lots of stuff to see. Got a really nice ring there. And they would be willing to bargain.
I just have had a very pleasant experience visiting for the first time. The girl working there was so polite and unfortunately I arrived just 5 minutes before closing time, so I will definitely return soon later this week when I have the time to wander the store a bit more and then I will update my review
Workers are very friendly and a excellent help.
What a pleasant antigue store great ownership and good prices
Nice clean well lit and staff is very friendly and helpful
Nice mid sized store with plenty of variety. Friendly staff and places to eat nearby. Always stop by when in the area.
Antiques and quite a place to shop I really was surprised by all the different things they had to offer
TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLES SITUATION WHO NEED TO SELL THINGS, LOW BALL OFFERS DEFINITELY TAKES ADVANTAGE!! GREED GETS YOU NOWHERE AN ALWAYS BRINGS FAILURE IN THE END
Miss Betty runs the store is honest and very knowledgeable they have just about everything to look for
This place is very cool. The creepy basement that goes on forever has lots of architectural finds!
A good place to look around for a few minutes, but there are bigger places in the Cincinnati area.
Totally killer. They have the cool stuff that you dont see it most antique malls
This place is an absolute goldmine. My favorite cincinnati area antique store. Tons of architectural salvage (literally the whole basement- walk in, go straight to the very back of the store and down the stairs- it looks like youre not supposed to go back there but it is open to the public- there should be a sign or something- i missed it the first few times I was here!) All the prices are fair- most of the furniture etc is actually on the inexpensive side for what you get! Just be prepared to dig because theres a LOT of stuff here and some things are easy to miss! I could and have spent hours here at a time. Parking in Newport is kinda a pain but theres a small free parking lot across the street if you dont want to feed a meter!
The prices are a little high for a hole-in-the-wall antique store, but there are some good local and salvage pieces
Great selection of antiques at reasonable prices. Check back often as they are always getting new pieces.
They have an adorable cute dog named Romeo, he alone makes shopping here worth my time.
Very cool stuff but basement super dirty and creepy
Good stock of doors, mantles and other items for old homes. We stop in for almost every project.
The women work here look to be straight out of a trailer park! I came in with my father and some lady with stringy long hair was all over him. It was very awkward and made us both uncomfortable. It smells bad like wet dog mostly garbage store two women were gossiping about another female. Bad experience. Would not recommend!
Very friendly owners. Great selection of doors and mantles in the basement.
Great and useful stuff! Owners are very helpful in trying to find what youre looking for.
Wonderful mantles very helpful can find almost anything
Great place for unique finds. Helpful staff.
Medium size store with some variety. Tons of architectural salvage
Antique shop. Some old stuff; some junk. Prices looked reasonable.
I love antiques.
Check out the architectural salvage in the lower level!
Soo many different antiques and items from every era! You could spend a whole day looking at everything.
Nice place to visit
Fantastic place for antique shopping
Really sweet owner
Could spend all day here plenty to look at
Awesome antiques good people
Fun place 2 visit
Large variety. New items constantly
Like walking through you grandmothers house.
A little bit of everything even for the picky treasure hunter.
A bit expensive
Very helpful.
Great place!
Good finds
Place is ok
Plenty of selection
Lots of stuff
People who work there are snooty
Old things
Good collection
