Absolutely amazing! Antique restored phones - which work! Can hook them up via Bluetooth so when someone calls your IPhone or Android you talk to them on an antique phone!

Part museum, part antique shop, part just plain ol fun! My wife and I stopped here after having breakfast at Le Maison across the street. They have collected the entire history of telephones dating back to the 1800s. All have been refurbished and most are actually useable with a land line, and most are for sale. We had so much fun looking at all the different types of phones and learning about them from the technician on site. My wife ended up buying not one, but two phones. One a rare pink phone from 1937 (the same kind used in the movie Dial M for Muder) and the other a British phone with chrome and a braided cord dating from the art deco period. Whether or not youre in the market to buy an antique phone, its just fun to visit and try out all the old phones.

Very cool store with phones dating back to 1880s. Most of them work and you don’t need a landline; you can set it up with a Bluetooth connection to your smartphone. They also refurbish phones (make them work and make them pretty) and have a huge selection. Really friendly and knowledgeable service - a gem in Newport.

Small but interesting museum about the history of telephones. The curator is a former teacher who shows her passion for the development of phones. I had a really great visit.

Fun place to see all the phones and related items. Seems like yesterday when I would answer calls on a corded switchboard....now thats part of history! They have one there. Kids are amazed that we dialed a phone number!

Always wanted to stop in and take a look. I have two old phones that are workable in my home. Needed a new connector for one of the phones so I made a point to stop in today. Wow what a treat. The lady gave us a grand tour. She knows her telephones. Got the connector that I needed and purchased two more workable phones. There is nothing like those old bell ring tones.

If you are interested in taking a walk through history then this is a great place to visit. George Valenzuela, the owner, has made antique phones his passionate hobby for many years and recently opened this store to pursue it full time. The phones date back to around 1900 and are a great representation of the 30+ independent companies that produced phones in that early time period. He even has a couple of antique phone booths that are in wonderful condition.George is more than happy to answer your questions but watch out because this fascinating collection can be very contagious as we found out when we purchased one of the first attempts at a dial phone from 1905. But whether you simply want some insight into the history of phones or want to take a piece of history home with you then do stop by.

A must visit if youre in the area!!! There are hundreds of antique phones from various time periods. Im not an antique collector - but I came here with a friend who was. I learned more about the history of the telephone here than I had anywhere else. It was a magnificent interactive learning experience. Huge thanks to the staff who shared their knowledge and passion with us!

We went to shop and were accosted by a barking dog. The clerk put it in the back but within seconds it was barking at us again, hair on his back standing up and wouldnt allow us to exit. The clerk was embarrassed but all we wanted to do was leave. We had intended to make a purchase and quickly decided to forget it.I just dont understand why dog people dont care about anything but themselves. Ill never return to this store
