Greg (mechanic) showed me exactly what was wrong w/ my brakes and repaired my vehicle in about 30 min after parts arrived. Customer Service was top notch! Definitely going back for my vehicle repairs and maintenance.

I have two cars and work for the gig apps Uber eats and DoorDash. Whenever I require maintenance both Brian and Daniel are absolute professionals and always have my cars ready to go. They stand by their work and uphold the excellence of the Midas brand. The prices are reasonable and fair and I trust this Midas outright. If you want quality work and mechanics that will stand by what they do I highly recommend you take your vehicle to this location.

I ran over a nail on my way to work, and frantically drove to the nearest repair shop. Midas just happened to be the closest, and I’m so glad they were. I was immediately greeted and acknowledged, and I felt very welcomed. Daniel, the man who serviced my car, was very kind and without hesitation said he would take it back and get it repaired. I was in and out in under an hour and the best part is it was FREE!!! I couldn’t recommend this location more, they are knowledgeable and friendly and they truly care about you and their quality of work.

An excellent team of professionals who also happen to be polite, pleasant and honest. Brought my car for wheel balancing and they only charged me for the wheels that needed to be balanced, not for the one that did not, despite doing the whole job i.e. removing, measuring and re-mounting the wheel on the car. Very pleased with the way I was treated as a customer, I went back home and brought my wifes car for the same service. Again an excellent job was performed. Thank you Daniel, Garry and Walter. I’ve been taking my cars to Midas for 2/3 years now . I had a VW Jetta and they ruined my Jetta, they put the wrong engine oil in it and it completely messed up my car . The guy knew because I found out they put the wrong oil in my car when he tried to charge me $60 instead of the original $30 . He just gave me a discount that’s all . Well I had to get a whole new car, I went on April 7th, 2021, TO START I HAD AN APPOINTMENT and STILL had to wait over 30 minute to get my car seen . I now have a Scion TC and I have PROOF they ONCE AGAIN put the wrong engine oil in my car as well as not putting transmission fluid in my car to top it off, didn’t even tell me it was low . I called this morning to explain to the manager, he was very rude and sarcastic, he tried to tell me they do not check transmission fluid in their maintenance package but it has it online and as well in my Midas paperwork that they did check it and also that it was at perfect level, now it’s April 28th and my car is having problems as well as the transmission fluid being EXTREMELY LOW .The manager seemed to get upset when I asked to file a complaint with someone higher, and told me “ you just did “ so when I asked for a different number to call he blurted it out fast and I asked him to repeat it and he did it again so I just ended the call . MIDAS IN NEWPORT KY IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR TO ANOTHER MIDAS EVER AGAIN .

Brian and his team at Midas did an excellent and timely job with my 2002 VW Jetta. My family and I will continue to trust this location with our cars because the inspection and diagnostics were thorough and the estimates were reasonable.The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly!

Ive gone here for several years and have always had great, timely service at a reasonable price. Today they were busy, but got me in quickly and welded a whole in my exhaust for no charge. Even topped off wiper fluid. Good people here!

Actually was taking to much time. I had a 4:30 appointment, got ther 15 min early, and still at 4:53, my car was parked it the lot. Asked for my keys. Drove to Valvoline in Edgewood. It is currently 5:23 pm and they have already begun oil change

My alternator went bad and the price was over what I had on me. They worked with me to fix me up with the amount I had. There is a number of professional things they have done but this was just the most recent. Brian, I think he is the manager, has always done right by me.

Took my car here 4 times over and over again for a coolant leak, I spent 100 dollars for a tow, 750 dollars to replace a radiator, 30 for a new coolant reservoir, which as of right now has cracked for a 4th time. They can’t figure out what’s wrong with it, they keep telling me it’s fine. I have spent a small fortune here and my problem is still not fixed. The guy behind the counter acts like he just wants to get you out of his face. DO NOT waste your time and money here.

The manager and the staff are excellent here. They worked with me to get me a tire even though I didnt have my actual credit card in the mail yet. Today was my first visit here. Everything was awesome from beginning to the end! I needed an oil change today before a long road trip, and this place got me the same-day appointment while all other places I called couldnt. The oil change service included free tire rotation, a 4 wheel visual brake inspection, and basic inspection all for only $39.99. After the inspection, they brought my attention to a few other things that needed to be addressed. They took care of them right away at an extremely affordable cost. I didnt feel like I was getting ripped off like I do at other places Ive been to. They took the car on a test drive to make sure my car was safe and working as its supposed to. The manager was super friendly and helpful. He explained in detail what they were doing throughout the entire process. They offer free wifi and coffee in the lounge, so the waiting was actually quite pleasant. I really appreciate their attentiveness and superb customer service. I would definitely come back here and want to recommend it to everyone who is looking for a trustworthy and reliable place for car maintenance.

I live 1/2 mile from a Midas in Delhi but I will not go anywhere but Newport. I only trust the manager Brian. He is great, honest and very caring. I also recommend only that Midas because of Brian and Daniel. Thanks for always taking care of my car needs and making me believe in a car repair place. I had a wonderful experience at this Midas. I started by doing an estimate online and scheduling an appointment. They were expecting me when I got there. I had scheduled a brake job. The estimate was very close to the actual amount. Brian Dill was the manager on duty. He was very personable and knowledgeable. They estimated time was 2 hours and it was done within this time frame.

Gary did an amazing job on our car. Very polite and helpful. He made sure that we understood exactly what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. Very pleased, will definitely be recommending him to all my family and friends.

The Newport location always goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. The manager is always there when you have questions and makes sure you leave happy, informed and more knowledgeable. One of the mechanics Daniel did a heck of an amazing job on my vehicle today, fast, efficient and great customer service as well. These two made my whole day thank you both.

Oil change done in September of 2016.Took about an hour, including waiting on other cars to finish before me.I received my car back clean. No trace that a sweaty dirty guy had been in there.My oil Change Indicator was not reset after the oil change. Not a big deal.The sticker with the type of oil was more stuck to the ceiling than my windshield. I had to move it because it was falling off before I even left the lot. Not a big deal.My inspection came back great.Before I came in, I knew I had a headlight out and a blinker out. I did not mention this. It was not listed in the inspection.I also know one of my brake pads is missing part of the friction material. I did not mention it. The break part of the inspection was marked green.I also have very warped rotors. They need to be changed. Again, I did not mention this before the oil change. It was not noted on the inspection.They did refill my windshield wiper fluid and noted the I should change my wiper.Everyone I spoke with from making the appointment to receiving my car back was very friendly and very accommodating.I wont bring any of my vehicles back here.

Terrible experience. Went in for an oil change on Friday afternoon before driving 500 miles to see my family for the Holidays. I checked my dip stick the next morning, there was no oil in my engine. I then stuck cardboard under my oil pan, there is an oil leak in my vehicle after taking it into these folks to get a simple oil change when there was no issue before they touched my vehicle. DO NOT take your vehicle here to save yourself a couple dollars. I am getting the damage reassessed at a 3rd party garage

Gary (mechanic) pinpointed the source of a leak in my cars AC -- he phoned me himself to explain which parts needed to be replaced. The new parts and labor were FREE, because an earlier attempt to fix the AC at Midas hadnt worked. It takes a good repair shop to admit a previous mistake and help the customer by reconciling it. The icing on the cake is that everyone at the Newport Midas (who Ive met) is friendly and takes the time to explain the details of car repair in a way thats understandable to the non-mechanic. Thanks Gary and crew!

I had my car towed to Midas for the first time because of a flat tire. Brian, the store manager, made sure my car was looked at first thing in the morning and kept me up to date throughout the day about its progress. After my starter also died, Ed and Daniel went above and beyond to make sure that they found the source of the issue, had the car finished the day of, and worked with me on pricing. I cannot thank them enough for making something very stressful, a little less painful. I will definitely return.

Had my oil changed here once, they were all super nice to me. And today, my card fell in the small crack of my e brake. Called them spur of he moment because I didn’t know who else to call and they said to come in and they would see if they could get it. After 20 minutes, Gary got it out for me. I’ve been going to this Midas now for 3 years and I’ve never experienced any issues. They genuinely want to give you and your car the best service for the best price. Their oil change program is great, 6 oil changes and your 7th is free. I’ve gone to other places for some work and I’m always reminded why I’ve chosen to stick with this team time and time again, they are polite and will explain everything to you.
