Sweet Tooth Candies is absolutely the best in sweets within 50 miles of their store. Incredible cream and Ice balls with/or without ice cream. They even have Ice-cream for those of us that are Lactose intolerant. Been going here for over 50 years!!Used to live 2 blocks away from Bobs brothers Sweet shop, but still drove 2 cities away just to get my Sweet Tooth taken care of. Definitely worth the drive. Plus their customer service is fantastic. If your lucky, they usually have a piece of Complimentary Cholate for tasting. Highly recommended 👌👍🏻💯😍😛😘

Had pineapple ice all with banana ice cream…. Delicious. However, I took home a couple of squares of vanilla fudge. When I ate it later in he evening, first thing I noticed was how small it was cut. It does NOT taste anything like the original. Can’t imagine why you would change something already perfect.

Ok, so this place has really gone downhill over the years. They only offer 1 size for a shake/malt? Then they are charging $7.16 for this? LOL, please just go take your money to UDF i am telling you this is not worth it.

We LOVE their chocolates. This is a true hidden gem that has been hand-making chocolates forever! They beautifully wrap the gift boxes of chocolates and you can get custom 1/2, 1 or 2lb boxes (they also have pre-made assorted boxes, or all-cherry cordial, all chocolate marshmallow, all opera cremes, etc). They also have coffee and ice cream, though we usually only come for chocolate.My one suggestion - I wish theyd be more friendly. When I spend $25 on a boxe of chocolates (TOTALLY worth it, by the way), I dont want to feel like Im an inconvenience, and I often do when Im at Sweet Tooth. I understand theyre busy... But a smile goes a long way. We came in once for ice cream with my kids and the grandparents, and while it was delicious, I did not feel welcome, which is a real bummer.Regardless, I will still come here every birthday, Christmas. Excellent ice cream and home made chocolates. I got a box of their buckeyes and they didn’t stand a chance. They didn’t make it to the morning. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood.

Great iceballs but the new management needs to put more flavoring in. The previous owners put way more in which makes them 10 times better.

This is my favorite Newport staple. Im actually from here, but moved a couple years ago. This place keeps the old-fashioned confectionery aesthetic. I was so worried it would disappear when they went bankrupt and had to sell the company. But another Newport staple, Pompilios, bought the company and kept it alive. They make amazing chocolates and fudge! I highly recommend coming after Easter when they bring back the ice balls with ice cream! Its like eating a giant cream popsicle. I love it!

Yummy ice balls! This quaint, darling candy and ice cream shop is a fun visit. Their homemade blueberry ice cream is my favorite. I suggest bringing cash with you for payment. There is minimal seating indoors and a bench outside the shop. Love having this in our area!

Never been here, but I can attest to their chocolate. Had some today at work and I have to say that it was some of the best, if not the absolute best chocolate Ive ever tasted in my life. It was utterly divine. Would definitely recommend this place to folks who are big chocolate fans.

Homemade ice cream and we brought our six children and two of their friends. We got the best compliment on how well behaved the kids were.Friendly service and we were served hand dipped ice cream for 9 people in minutes!

Was rudely asked by an employee to leave (due to covid regulations) while we were still waiting on ice cream. then i get in my car and start eating and there is a dead bug buried in my ice cream!!!! disgusting!!!! i didnt even feel comfortable going back in for a refund because of how nasty we were treated!!! i will never be going here again

The product is amazing, prices beat most major brands and it smells amazing in there. I believe if all businesses ran like this one the whole world would be a better place..

I have been coming here since I was a child, it was family tradition to go every weekend in the summer for ice balls. They have the best flavors and the best candy. The staff is always so friendly and the place is always super clean. I have since moved and I still drive from 4 hours away to have an ice ball in the summer.

Was a first timer. Went with a group of friends. I had a watermelon ice ball with ice cream. The first taste was incredible and it only got better bite after bite. If you have not been there I strongly recommend that you go.

In spring and summer months they serve ice balls. Also ice cream inside an ice ball. They make many homemade chocolates and candies. Benches to sit outside and complimentary cups of water. Cheech it out if youre in the area.

The ice cream here is amazing! However, the price my family paid for some ice cream there we should have not gotten treated the way we did. The workers really rude. Had an attitude because I ordered about 5 shakes and a cup of ice cream. Ridiculous. At 8:16 pm when they’re open until 9. My family has been going here for many generations. But, the experience I had today, I might be changing that tradition.

Where shall I start? They make all the ice creams themselves from old family recipes using all-natural ingredients. The whole family is involved in the candies and confections production, wrapping, and sales. Sometimes I just ask for them to make me a special treat and they have never failed to surprise and delight me. I have never tasted anything there that wasnt the best ever.

They may have really good ice cream, but the owner needs to pay attention to his website and adjust the time when the hours change. We drove about 45 minutes with 6 kids, 3 of them from out of state, who were so excited and when we arrived at 8:02pm they were closed! Online says 9pm.

Went there on 4th of July. Said they were open till 10, but were closed by like 7 or 8.

Very very over priced. Nothing is worth the price in this place. Everything is very mediocre and bland. The staff is completely rude. Visited on 2 different occasions had they same experience both times I will not be returning its a waste of money. For the price they charge for there product you expect it to superb and its not even close to good. They charged me a dollar and tax for a tiny excuse for a scoop of pineapple sauce for my banana split and they lady was absolutely the rudest person like I was inconveniencing her by asking for an extra scoop because she only put 1 little itty bitty scoop on there.
