We had actually planned to have breakfast elsewhere but due to staffing the other places were closed; which worked out fine since we discovered Ultralife.We ordered the breakfast bowl but since they didnt have biscuits that normally go with the gravy they substituted toasted sourdough bread. The plate was large enough for my husband and I to share, and we followed it with a large piece of coffee cake.Ultralife has a nice selection of breakfast pastries, not to mention a complete coffee bar.

Amazing coffee shop that also serves great sandwiches and salads. They have vegan and vegetarian options. The sandwiches are fresh and loaded with flavor. Coffee is good and they also have beer. Space is very cool looking and in the heart of NYE beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Costumer service was fabulous. VEGAN friendly! We ordered the veg bacon bagel (came with kettle chips and pickle) and the hippie bagel. The strawberry on each plate was a nice, tasty touch. The bagels alone were DELICIOUS, so the entire dishes were great. Tasted light and fresh, yet filling. Would definitely return if passing through again. Books and record selection to browse while waiting for your order.

Such an amazing place for Vegan, Gluten Free and regular sweets and eats. Coffee is hot and fresh every cup. They also have 5 different alternative milks for those who need the nondairy options.

Yummy vegan breakfast options here! We got the vegan breakfast sandwich and I loved the “bacon”. It came on a waffle which was a surprise but it was good!

One of the only vegan/gluten free places I could find in Newport. The bacon that comes on the breakfast sandwich isnt actually GF even though the sandwich is advertised as GF. However, I omitted that and they added veggies instead at no extra charge which was cool. There wasnt aioli sauce on it either but I got a side of it and added it myself. The cheese didnt melt and the sandwich wasnt hot but it was still edible and tasty. And the staff were friendly and accommodating. Id go there again.

The drip coffee was not very hot. The music was loud and that did not facilitate a very relaxing environment for me. My friend ordered a latte and enjoyed it.

This place is amazing ! Delicious breakfast sandwiches including one with avocado, veggies, balsamic and greens on top. Yummy! Especially since the bagel was incredibly fresh. Their tea drinks were pretty creative as well!

Oh mylanta, this place was awesome! Those brie/blackberry/Earl Grey scones were literally one of the best things Ive ever eaten. Excellent vegan/gluten free options.

Nice little eatery. I think we lucked out on our timing as it got busy (around 11am Sunday) as we ate. Bloody Marys are on the spicy side, but come fancy (cheese, salami, half a hard boiled egg, olive, celery). Food was well prepared.

We love Ultralife Nye. Great atmosphere and great coffees. Our favorites are the cold brew protein smoothie, acai bowl, and the vegan breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. We arent vegan and dont like fake products but that sandwich is so good. We are so happy they have extended hours now. Also the attached Archway Market has great treats, we get gifts for friends and family there.

I love this place. So cute. Every time I go they have new vegan options. Coffee drinks are amazing and unique. Love the food and cocktail night was awesome. Some of the best cocktails I have had. Everything is made with care and you can tell they put a lot of work into recipes.

The place is hyped up. The dolled up girl at the counter didnt even know if there was caffeine in the tea I wanted. Good selection of things, though. But staff should be at least somewhat knowledgeable.

Such an upbeat place! If l lived close by l go every day sipping on hibiscus mimosa perfect flavor while hubby pressed his lips against his Strawberry mimosa slightly tangy and sweet strawberry.

The coffee is good, but I can only give 3 stars because they advertise for gluten free food, but they make everything in the same kitchen and dont clean or consider cross contamination. Really unfortunate they dont take the actual care required for people with food allergies.

The coffee drinks are good however as we visited daily during our stay the servers have a bit to be desired. Multiple times we felt we were an annoyance to them by ordering and be prepared for very slow service.

Good coffee, excellent staff, decent prices! Its nice and close to the parking lot for Nye Beach for that quick stop for coffee before enjoying the beach. What could be more Oregonian? 🤣 Definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff. Welcoming and happy. Unfortunately, the food and drink service was dreadfully slow. 15-20 minutes for a cocktail. 30-45 minutes for an appetizer. This happened for each order we placed (It shouldnt take 30 minutes to make a quesadilla appetizer). Crab cakes were extremely flat and burned on both sides. We really wanted to like this place but its evening service left us disappointed and looking for dessert elsewhere because we didnt want to wait another 30-45 minutes after 2 hours of drinks and appetizers.

A bit crowded on a beautiful holiday weekend but service was great coffee and bagels were good and everyone was patient. Very nice start to a nice Sunday morning.

Great place to stop for coffee if you are in Nye beach area of Newport, Oregon! I had the iced Cold brew coffee no cream, and no sugar! It was a excellent cup of coffee! Bold and good flavored coffee!

Servers here are often rude, waits are long and the food is not organic. The other Ultra on the main highway is much friendlier with faster (drive up) service and fresher food.

Ultralife is an amazing find! If you need vegan or gluten-free options, this is the only place to go. Not only are there many choices, but care is obviously taken to make sure theyre GOOD. I only gave one star because I had to so I could write this review. BE CAREFUL YOU WILL GET A SCREW IN YOUR COFFEE! I ordered a 16oz coffee and by the end of the cup I heard a strange noise when I shook it. When I took the lid off to investigate there was a large screw in the bottom of my cup. When we called the next morning to complain they didnt even care. I would never purchase anything from this place or company again!

Fantastically friendly service- I give the service a 5, and the coffee a 4. It wasn’t my favorite, but I liked enough to go back twice over a 5 day vacation. Great atmosphere, and connected to a cute gift shop. Great vibe and totally worth it if you’re vacationing in Newport.

Didnt try any food here, but we noticed they have some nice vegan options as well as gluten free so thats a plus! Coffee was solid, and the general vibe of this cafe is cute and pleasant. Its also in the heart of downtown Newport, right by the beach. Definitely would come back and try the food!

What an awesome little place! The bartender made us craft cocktails after just listening to our favorite tastes. $1 oysters were huge and awesome. Even got some free deviled eggs that the chef wanted to try out! Nice people and a perfect place to watch the sunset.

Ultralife in Nye Beach is INCREDIBLE! Where do i begin?!?! First you start with one of the few amazing beach views in Nye Beach. Next, add Keto Options, Vegan options, Protein based foods, fresh bagels, excellent hand crafted lattes, mochas, americanos, cortados, breves - the list goes on-from talented and friendly baristas. Add to that the recent addition of extended hours and Local craft beer from Wolf Tree Brewing, Hard seltzer from local Bier 1, Regional wines and ciders and excellent signature cocktails. This place is a gem on the central oregon coast with a drive thru on highway 101 and the baristas let me know additional locations are coming soon.

What a special place!! Not only is there a beautiful view of the ocean while you enjoy this establishment- their food menu and drink menu is beyond superb!! Their food truly is healthy and made to order. This is their second, larger location. Please stop by, you will NOT be disappointed! Great place on Nye Beach. Stellar coffee! I had an Acai bowl that delighted the taste buds. I also bought 6 doughnuts from Dark Moon Doughnuts who shares a space with the cafe. Great menu with wine.

Were hooked! Its so nice to see a GOOD brunch spot that serves alcohol- its something Newport is lacking. Our mimosas were beautiful and delicious, our bagel sandwich was fresh, and you cant beat the view. Also appreciated the strawberries on the side of our sandwich!

Food is absolutely amazing. Service is great. Definitely a great place and the ocean is right there....the bagel salad is amazing. So is the ultra burrito. So much flavor and their drinks are delicious as well.

I have tried it out 3 times so far since I’m a local, first their menu doesn’t really say too much about the drink options and each time I asked the employee if they had this type of coffee drink they said yes but it never tasted like the drink I ordered. Today I went in to try it out again first the girl making the coffee wasn’t barely calling out the number in line it was like a whisper and it was full in there with people talking. She had me and another girl wanting for our coffee when it was up at the counter she just didn’t call out the number loud for us who were close to the counter to hear. I asked for extra sweet and it was bitter and not how I asked for it, definitely not going back.

Sort of like the walk in Star Bucks store. Its like a University campus coffee shop where all the students would congregate before or after class, or if they are studying for an exam or just hanging out with classmates. It just has that feel to it.
