Its was a great experience..took my nephew to the comic shop but it was closed for the day and the employee opened the shop and lets us shop even though it was a day they were closed .

Loved this spot. I find a comic store no matter where I go to support the shops and I loved this whole store. The clerk was nice as hell pulling long boxes to help me find variant covers and even gave me a wedding discount on the Batman #50. I got married and my wife is gonna let me frame the book with one of our wedding photos. I can tell you if you are ever near Covington you need to stop in and just check out the store. You will find something you like.

I worked with Steve when I visited this store a couple of days ago. I had an excellent experience and great conversation when I stopped by. They didnt have exactly what I was looking for, but thats not the fault of the store; there was a shortage of supply for the specific product I was after. I was, however, able to pick up a couple of other things I was happy to find here. Theres a really great selection of trading cards, tabletop games, books and comics here. I grew up in the area, and moved out of town before this store opened, but I really wish I learned about it sooner. I will absolutely be back here and will recommend this place to my friends..

We absolutely love this comic book store. There is so much to choose from, its a very fun atmosphere and the owner is very helpful and so knowledgeable.

Went in to grab comics, found a good one priced at a good value but then they said theyre not selling it at the marked price anymore.

Lovely little place literally packed full of comics and books and some odd games and collectibles. Very interested in the fact they used to run DnD and Magic games in the upper floors pre-pandemic.

This is a wonderful little comic book store! There are loads of mainstream comics as well as a few independent works that are worth your time. While I went in for comics and trading cards, their selection of table top games is quite varied with a few games that I havent seen anywhere else before

Very good selection of comics! Came there over the 4th of July & The guy was very helpful. Helped us pick out Elektra Assassin, which is very good by the way.

This comic shop, at one point in time, was great. The people inside were sociable, would answer any questions you had, and would always help you find what you need, but as of late, it has seem very gatekeeper. As someone who is huge into comics and tabletop games it pains me to see the hobby gatekept.

My husband I go here regularly, not just for the comics, but for the staff. They always have great recommendations and we can easily be there for nearly an hour chatting. They are really knowledgeable about the authors, illustrators and storylines, etc. As easy as it is for me order a comic on Amazon, I would rather order through Arcadian and support a great local business. Plus I get to chat it up with folks down there!

Before Arcadian, I only had a passing interest in comics. Occasionally, I would pick up a trade paperback that was a tie-in to a video game I played, but never single issues of an ongoing series.After going to Arcadian a little over a year ago, I’ve became a full fledged fan of comics. I’ve been to other comic book stores, but none had a staff like the guys at Arcadian. Steve, Kyle, Q and Sig are the reason I’m in the store every Wednesday for all the new releases. They’re extremely knowledgeable and passionate about comics and truly want to help their customers find something they’ll enjoy reading. Their recommendations on current issues, and past issues, have never failed me and make up a huge chunk of my comic collection.If you’re interested in learning more about comics, or just want a new place to pick up current issues, you can’t wrong with Arcadian. They carry all major publishers (DC, Marvel, Image, Boom, etc.) as well as lesser known publishers. Their prices can’t be beat, and give a fair deal on back issues, trades, and used books. If you’re in the Newport area, check them out!

You dont have to be a regular to get the 5-star treatment everyone is treated as a potential future weekly pull file customer here, even if they are buying their first ever comic/graphic novel/table top game! Ill admit, my opinion is a bit biased. I have been a regular customer at Arcadian Comics for a few years(I even remember going when they opened).Over time, I became friends with the owner and employees but, theres a reason I bothered going back in the first place: personality.The store is not a clinic white walled, boring atmosphere. The employees were nice but not pushy or judgemental. They recommended things to me years ago that I still read today. And they didnt do it to move units or because they thought my choices were bad, they did it because they honestly thought Id enjoy them. Usually showing me a dollar issue or just giving me a book they thought I would like.The reason I became friends with those guys is, they were awesome. The ability to be in a place with a heart and conscience, where I could be myself made me not just want to buy and read comics, it made me want to GO TO the comic shop.They all know a bunch about a bunch and are dedicated to matching the right book to the right reader but, also, allowing you to find your own way.Im glad I wandered in that day and discovered one of my favorite places ever.

ARCADIAN comics is INCREDIBLE! The staff is knowledgeable & super-duper friendly. The window decorations are alluring & filled with eye catching posters, statues, & trades. They cater to all my comics buying needs.

The staff were HIGHLY knowledgeable and able to help me find alternative material I might be interested in based on my comic history and preferences. When they didnt have the publication I originally came in to purchase, they not only ordered that exact publication but also suggested several comics I had never heard of before. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely recommend any comic book aficionados to this shop. Hands down best shop in the GCA!!!

Great atmosphere and nice niche selection.

Ive visited Arcadian several times, and each experience has been very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Arcadian also does something that no comic store I have ever been to before has, they recommended titles to me based on my interests. Thanks to them, I have discovered several new comics that I love. I highly recommend them and believe them to be the #1 comic book store in northern Kentucky.

Well stocked brick and mortar comic shop. Ive been coming here since it was Clofton Comics anx now Arcadian. I absolutely adore the shop owner and his employees. They always have the best suggestions for customers. They feel you out in conversation and can hand you a stack of comic series that always hits the mark on your tastes.They have some really great sales all the time. And the pricing in general is fair.

My favorite comic book store in the city. Walking into the store transports me to the idealized store I remember from my youth. Recommendations from the owner have been much more hit than miss - which is impressive to me. Steve is a genuinely great guy and I strongly recommend you spend your money here.

Amazing local comic shop. Friendly staff who can introduce you to your new favourite comic. So many times comic shops are equal parts dungeon and boys club. I did not get that vibe here. Solid shop.

Ive been coming every Wednesday for the last year or so. The owner and regular Wednesday staff member are super knowledgeable and will sometimes make recommendations to me based on what I have been interested in (Thanks Steve!). I highly recommend going. It is very clear that the owner and staff care greatly for what they do.

What an incredible store full of incredible employees! Only shop in the area where i have actually held non-judgmental conversations with the workers. They seem to focus more on the indy books and publishers and I really like that aspect! By far the best comic book shop in the tri-state area.

A Quant little comic and graphic novel store. Theres a friendly staff and a really neat idea of having staff recommendations qualified by their taste. I didnt think to snag a picture but its a cool idea and other similar stores should adopt the idea.

This is what a comic shop SHOULD be. Could spend hours here. Huge variety of mainstream and indie titles, kid-friendly books and altcomics. The staff welcomes new readers and hardcore fans. And YES they have Cathair Apocalypse!!

Great and friendly staff, very easy to set up a pull list and never missed an issue thanks to it! The back catalog selection is very impressive too. Managed to complete my Dark Knight Metal collection thanks to it (including,some very hard to find Gotham Resistance issues for very affordable prices. Comics arent sleeved, which can be seen great for those who want to check something out but may irc collectors. And the owners will always throw a bone and give an extra issue or special discount if buying older volumes. They have smaller publishers, indie stuff, tons of variants and tradebacks and quite a few collectibles and artbooks as well. Definitely one of the best comic book stores in the area

We became comic book addicts bc of this place! Walked in & became immersed in the world of storytelling & art! How did I go my whole life w/o knowing comics were this amazing!? I LOVE this place so much & the people who work there (Q, Sig, Kyle) that I crave it weekly! I literally have to curb how much I spend bc in 3wks time I started a collection of over 100 comics!! Go check them out :).

The way the shelves are you have to take every comic out to find one.. and they are all wood, so they scratch n tear n bend the corners. Also nothing was priced at all... i mean none of it. All walking dead comics were scattered all over the place n no prices once again. Just overall selections not very good.

Cant say anything bad about the place, a little small but I mean its packed full of comics to browse and stuff to look at. Always seems to have a wide and fair selection of items to browse. Not my main store but whenever they are open and im in the area I like to swing by. One thing I can say is every time I go in the owner and employees are super nice and helpful even threw in a book for my fiancée to read and she loved it.Short story: Small friendly shop, hours are a little weird but anyone who shops comic stores knows some stores have weird hours. No reason to be open if you dont have as much movement on those days when you can use that day to prep the shop for the next new comic day! So stop in if youre in the area and like to read comics or buy collectibles ect.

They need to up there game and advertise more and clean and remodel the whole inside its bad inside there. Its like the owner doesnt care about it anymore.
