Being customer for over 20 years got all my appliances from there with no problem till now, on May I got a refrigerator is not being working good frozen food and on called, they kept telling me to change settings, finally they send someone. Freezer had 2 holes they had to glue together, seals on doors had to be replace not waiting on parts for that. since I am not happy with it I called to ask if I can replace it for another one and pay difference since still under a year warranty guess I Can’t since they have a 30 day policy exchange they don’t tell you about it, when I told the lady I wasn’t aware about a 3” day exchange only about the 2 year warranty she told me “ well we don’t usually tell people about the 30 day exchange . So last time I do business is sad when you are a loyal customer and try to support local business but they are shady when it comes to policy’s or warranties. 😡

The people working in the local store are very pleasant and good to work with, but theyre totally undermined by the Sears corporate level. We went in to replace our washer and dryer. We picked out what we wanted and were going to pay for it with our Sears card, which we just received in spring and had an expiration date of 2023. But it was declined; they said it had been de-activated. So the person who was helping us said they would just call in and have it re-activated. So she did that and the corporate level declined that also. We put our purchase on a different credit card (because we dont want to go to Wichita or Hutchinson, considering the covid situation). That lost us the 10% discount we would have gotten from using the Sears card. When we got home there was a voice mail from the Sears credit office asking us to call about the new credit application. But they gave a wrong number in the message!!!! It was a fax machine!! So I hate to undermine a local store and its helpful employees but in the future Ill go out of town to buy appliances.

They help you out if you arent sure what you are looking for or even if you have a question pertaining to what services they do. Very helpful staff and friendly as well as always sanitizing surfaces when touched and such.

Went in to pay my bill. Almost always great service. Amazing during the pandemic and today used earned gift card successfully. Thank you for great service.

Have not bought anything yet, been in twice and neither person has sold me on an item.Shopping around reveals better sales elsewhere...but that doesnt mean Im done.Theres a freezer I like, will probably purchase it locally at this store. Just hope when I ask about it, they have more info than whats footnoted on the card.

Dishwasher shopping and decided to try to keep my money in town. Large selection to choose from and excellent service. I left with a new dishwasher in the truck and a smile on my face. This wont be the last time I shop at Newton Sears.

Competitive prices and big city options with small town businesses approach. In the past year I have purchased a washing machine, lawn mower and dishwasher. Abe is the man to see: he listens to your needs, has a depth of knowledge about different brands and makes sure prices are comparable to prices found elsewhere. On my last visit he stayed an hour late and delivered the dishwasher. I can’t overstate how great the customer service is; this is a primary example of why it pays to stay local and invest in our community businesses.

Went to pick up toolbox I had ordered. No one load it up on first trip, so had to go back later in day to pick up. Got back got it loaded, and left without once showing I was the one that ordered toolbox, no paperwork, no identification, no receipt, nothing. Good thing I am an honest person for not picking up extra merchandise.

Bought several appliances here and have always had great service. Prices are also good and its nice to shop local.Got a mower recently from Sears and again had great service. The mower ended up dying in a month but Sears exchanged it on the spot. They also will do warranty work locally had I come it past my exchange date. So its great knowing they have your back.

While the staff at the store was as helpful as can be, the computer image of the part I needed had the belts reversed so got the wrong belt first time and the right one wasnt in stock. Too bad stores cant get the files changed to show the correct part.
