Very pleasant staff, helpful, not pushy. I will recommend this store!!

I went into Sussex County Mattress to look and learn. Maryanne greeted me and guided me through the store. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and clearly amazing at what she does. I would HIGHLY recommend this store- because of Maryanne. Delivery was set up to suit my schedule- the two delivery drivers were so pleasant!!!I LOVE my new bed- the whole shopping experience was seemless and FUN.

Mary Ann was very helpful.The delivery crew was like two of the three stooges. They brought in the wrong mattress and broke my counter top also soiled the mattress with dirty work gloves.called to complain.was told to take pictures of damaged & dirt . They replaced mattress & said insurance would take care of damage.when they delivered new mattress they knocked over Lenox vase off my dressier it has been months know and I have never heard from Mary Ann or the insurance company . So my guess is Mary Ann does not care eighter and her so called insurance company is totally useless 😠 if they even exist.I Would never go there again nor would I recommend that store to anyone.

I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a mattress. Mariann is so personable and incredibly knowledgeable. The quality of their products is terrific and prices are quite good. Mariann helped us find an appropriate mattress and adjustable frame for my 86-year old mother who was suffering from severe back problems. My mother said that it was the most comfortable bed she had ever slept on in her entire life. Mariann also helped my daughter buy a new mattress a few years ago and we just got an updated mattress for ourselves. I will always shop here!

Dont go anywhere else to get your next mattress! This place cant be beat and customer service is 5 starts throughout the whole process and customer support after delivery as well. I went somewhere else before here and felt like just a number and get shuffled off like a statistic. Go to Sussex County Mattress! You wont be sorry. Marianne is the best (sp?)

I bought a mattress here, and when I went to pick it up, provided information showing that the exact same mattress was offered elsewhere for a few hundred dollars less. I asked about the lowest price guarantee offered by Sussex Mattress, and was told that it would be looked into and that I would receive a call back within a few days. When I didnt receive a call, I called back and again explained the situation. I was told that it would be easy to check out, and again was told that I would receive a call back within a few days. Each time, I provided my phone number to be sure they had it. It has been nearly tow months now, and still no call back. I would say that before you actually buy here, do your homework by asking if they still do honor the lowest price guarantee. and then running a search on the mattress you want. Aside from that the purchasing experience was pleasant, Its just the lack of customer service follow-up after that.

GREAT PLACE....... Absolutely the best place in town I had a great experience at this place after leaving Mattress Firm I almost gave up for the day shopping I HATE pushy salespeople.... But SUSSEX MATTRESS is the best walked in a woman was there Mary ann which make me feel so much better she was so down to earth but yet so helpful and so knowledgeable I sPENT more then I wanted toO but I must say I;m so happy I did this is the best night sleep Ive gotten in year I brought a adjustable base never dreamed I would have but Maryann said it would help my lower back and i must say she was 100 percent correct so Happy i went in there.... I dont know how this store has any decent reviews. I feel the truth is important, and i dont like leaving a bad review, but this was bad and people should not have to deal with situations like this. I bought what was labeled a Sealy. I tried that mattress in the store 3 times, before purchasing and loved it. After delivery, i hated the mattress, it seemed nothing like the floor model. I was utterly confused. I noticed that fill was missing in the middle, causing my back to bow. I weigh 98 pounds!? I went to the store and tried the floor model again-and i loved it-it felt nothing like the mattress they had delivered? I was confused, called that REALLY nice salesperson at the store, trying to be very nice, and told her the bed delivered was different, i didnt know how this could be? That salesperson became the nastiest viscous person all of a sudden. I asked if i could switch and buy the floor model. She outright refused that idea, and would not even honor the warranty. I only had the bed for 2 days. I did an online search regarding this problem. Had Sealy lost its great reputation? No, what i found out was that most likely, this was a bait and switch situation with a refurbished/refilled used mattress, not legal practice. This might explain why she would not let me swap NOR purchase the floor model. This was a huge purchase for me, an $800 bed. She tried to not let me speak with a manager or owner. Owner had another Sealy delivered-Same lack of fill-this one was worse--nothing like the floor model. They should call this The Caveat Emptor Bed Store.

I bought a bed from here in may. initially i was going to get one from sleepy, but sussex county mattress gave me a far better deal, plus they gave me free delivery, free mattress cover and free frame for a lot less than sleepys. the bed that was sold to me is also living up to my expectations and i absolutely love it. when i first got this bed i was going to bring it back the first week, but then i somehow got used to it and now it is one of the most comfortable beds ive had. i bought a simmons beauty rest firm plush bed, and i love it.
