Made a deal on F_150 Ford truck. 1997

My husband and I have bought two cars from here, and father Inlaw has bought three!!!! None of us has had a prob with any of them except fixing small things here and there (the first bought was in 2017) !!! People have to understand this Is NOT A NEW CAR DEALERSHIP!!!!!!! They sell older cars and that comes with higher mileage at lower prices!! Its a BUY AS IS !!! They are connected to Car Shield which offers extended warranty’s for these older cars, but if you decide not to use it then that’s on you!!!!! These are older car models so you can’t expect them to last forever… that being said all the cars that we have bought from here are still on the move. We have had to do small maintenance on them, but come on what do you expect. Mike did not smooth talk us to buy the cars!! He let us test drive and inspect the car as we wanted. Then ask us if we want it. If we said no he wasn’t pushy. If we said yes then we did the paperwork simple as that!!! I wasn’t looking for something brand new it wasn’t in my budget, but for something to last a few yrs at a decent price then I will continue to use this dealership!!!!! Also don’t expect them to hold something for you if they get a buyer right on the spot you can’t blame them for going ahead and making the sale!!!!!!!!

Sales Man was very helpful! Drove from Mt Holly to check a a couple cars and left with one! I would drive the distance again to get my next car!! Love the customer service. Found this var on Car Guru

Brought a car out there. Didnt notice headlights didnt work until after we left. Carried it back the next morning and he fixed the issue. Was extremely courteous

I called about buying a car from this dealer and he was very rude, I think he could sell more cars if he would not be so rude and realize that the customers pay his bills.

I bought an SUV from them 8 months ago. After 4 months the paint started to show all the scratches thy covered up. There started to develop a noise from the rear axel, so I took it to a mechanic. The mechanic told me that the car had been in a MAJOR accident from behind and that that is what was causing the rubbing noise. Upon further inspection, I found all of the mold and bodywork they did to the car. There was also spray paint where the back gate connects to the body that I previously had not noticed. I thought Mark was a nice and honest guy, but I was mistaken. I would not go there again.

Mark was very helpful and patient during the process. I was dreading buying a car but he was friendly and explained everything to me. I like my new car and feel like I got a great deal on my Fiesta. Highly recommend checking them out!

I bought a 03 ford explorer last year from Hickory Wholesale and my explorer is still running great and very reliable. Not to mention I drive a hour to work and back 6 nights a week. Their service was great and will be going to them again for all my automobile purchases.

They were very nice. Had a pleasant experience with a guy named Ward. Purchased a lovely 2010 Mazda 5 for work. They were upfront about everything. It needed some suspension work. As for everyone who is saying they bough junk. Coming from the service side of a car purchase. You should always get it checked out by an ASE certified mechanic. If you are not educated or well versed in car terminology. Its your responsibility as a buyer to fully educate yourself and mitigate any damages in any purchase. You are buying someone elses problem always remember that. But I will say in my experience it was good and would buy another car from them in the future

If you would like to be treated rudely and not considered seriously, by all means this is this place to go. When offered fair cash prices you get laughed at and jokes made. I imagine 98% of these vehicles are auction queens and salt babies. Good luck and hire a good mechanic. They sell lemons and toss lemons in your face.

If you want a reliable car, never go to this place. I needed a different car due to my pregnancy and even told them about it, thinking that they would be more considerate and honest at the time of picking a good car but I was wrong. They not only lie to me saying that my car (Volkswagen CC 2010) was in great condition but when I went back after taking the car to Volkswagen, and being said that the car has too many issues, they just told me sorry, sold as is.

The only reason Im giving this place 2 stars is because the salesman was nice. But he lied to when he told me the car I purchased was a good car. Nothing wrong with it. No sooner than I get it home it starts acting up and Ive had nothing but trouble since. Anno one there will return my calls. I dont know what to do. Bsdsy. I just think that was all around BAD business.esides put it in the shop tue

I came to this dealership and found a vehicle I was very excited about. I had to wait 1 week to purchase it to get my insurance and the loan sorted out. They would not hold the vehicle for me and instead put it online for over 1000 dollars than what they had offered it to me for and then I called the next week to let them know I was coming to get it and they sold it to one of their friends and didnt even bother to give me a call and let me know. I overall wasnt pleased with this dealership and would not recommend to anyone either getting a first car or are in a tough spot to get financed for one.

My son got a car there 2 months ago first 24 hours found out it had a blown head gasket .they stated it was good in other areas he checked it on a machine. RIGHT AFTER LEAVING THE CAR LOT SERVICE ENEGINE LIGHT COMES ON.HE WOULDNT RETURN MY CALLS.MY SON HAS HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE NOW THE CAR IS SETTING AT A SHOP FOR THE FIFTH TIME IT KEEPS DIEING ON HIM WANT START UP FOR AWHILE.AND ITS BOTTOM PART OF THE MOTOR IS KNOCKING.THE OIL LIGHT WAS FLASHING DONT BUY NOTHING 4 HIM.

Bought a cheap Dodge Stratus. Great car and seemed like great dealers. They understood me being in college and really helped me find a place to finance with. Would return and would recommend if your looking for a decent salesman.

During my car experience, something seemed off, but I was assured that the car was in great condition and the problem was that I simply wasnt educated enough about the all wheel drive car. After purchasing, we discovered that the car had 7,000 dollars worth of damage. Exact quote from the salesman, It is what it is.

I just purchased a 2010 Buick Lacrosse from Hickory Wholesale Cars. During the test drive, I noticed that the car would not move if the wheels were cut all the way. The salesman assured me that this was normal for all wheel drive cars, and that the service rear axle light was just a faulty sensor. After purchasing, I took it to the local Buick service center the very next day, where they informed me that the entire rear differential needs to be replaced. Now I have a 7000 dollar repair bill on a car I paid 7000 dollars for. When I called them, I was told quote: it is what it is. I dont know how these people sleep at night.

Bought a van from them in February (when it was cold out) & was told that the AC worked. Now that its hot outside, no AC! 2 days after I bought it the windows started not working. The drivers window wont come back up & the other one barely does. The 2 rear vent windows stopped. Found out a couple days later that the serpentine belt comes off everytime it rains. They had a piece of garden hose being used as a hose to the radiator. It leaks coolant & leaks oil around the valve cover gaskets. I had to replace the ignition coil pack within a month of buying it because it started sputtering & backfiring. These people sell lemons! Dont buy from them or Speedway Motors right up the hill from them. 2 of the worst car lots around!

This place is wonderful great staff and prices as well I had been looking for months for me a vehicle after mine was totaled by a deer and this place was the only place that was NOT trying to rip me off they are very honest thank you guys so much

Do not buy from this dealer.My girlfriend purchased VW 2010 CC black and we told them we need it a reliable vehicle sinces is pregnant after 30 days and 120 miles on the car it broke down. took it to VW body shop and we were told 6 parts need to be replaced from the engine and transmission now we have a loan that we need to pay and no car because the bill is more expensive then the car ....I know they will not care about this

Called multiple times about a certain car and was told to come Monday morning at 9 am to check the car out, cash in hand. As I arrived at Hickory Wholesale Cars Inc at 9 am Monday morning, the man told me that the car had already been sold in the past hour AFTER they told me that they would hold it for me as I was coming Monday morning. We drove hours for this car and they sold it right out from under us. Awful business, don’t buy from them unless you are wanting either problems with your car or problems with your purchasing a car. We put days into planning this all for nothing.

Very helpful, great selection of luxury cars that may have some miles on them, but are still in great shape.

Bought a car about 3 weeks ago after trying to figure out what was wrong with it come to find out its a part of the transmission and to fix it about 2600 definitely bring someone to check the car out before you buy it.

I bought a 03 s10 several weeks ago didnt make it to Lenoir to work before the check engine light came on went to parts store said it was catalytic converter and 02 sensor as I was leaving noticed a popping sound coming from what seems to be a suspension issue I then called Mark and asked if he would know why the check engine light would be on he told me bring it by he would cut it off for me ....cut it off for me you should fix it consedering i dodnt even make it home i will never buy another car from them or suggest that anyone else does bunch of crooks!
