Clean fast and friendly . So glad its on my way home and always well stocked, never lets me down.

The Maiden Food Lion is the one to go to, its the best in the area. What sets it apart, its cleaner, the items are always in order, they have a greater number of items than other Food Lions. The people are friendlier, theres Sid a seventy year old gentleman with great silver hair at the checkout who will talk and joke with you. Then theres Dennis in the meat department who goes the extra mile and will always go in back to check if an item not out, may be there and if not in back he will then go on his scanner and let you know when its going to arrive at the store. Its all these little things that this Food Lion does right that makes me travel 15 minutes longer to go to it.

Food Lion had always been a good place to get groceries. I love there brand of food as well as if not more than some name brand stuff.

The employees here are very friendly and helpful. Unlike other stores there were no problems finding someone for help or get questions answered.The store is clean, organized and stocked up. Really happy they remodeled a few years ago, definitely stepped up there game in presentation. If your looking for a good cut of meat, check out Foodlion. The display may be a little small, but they have just about anything you are needing and the quality is hands down better then stores like Walmart.

I have just changed my rating from one star to four stars because this store has really improved following coronavirus guidelines. All cashiers and employees are now wearing masks. More customers are wearing masks now also.

Clean and orderly! Decent prices compared to Walmart. One plus is they have good sales and plenty in stock unlike Walmart. We have started shopping here more often.

I Love this store, but things are changing and not all the changes are good to me. No generic soups, prices higher on boxed and frozen items as well as dairy. I hope this is not going to continue. I feel like this happened after the LOWES FOOD in Claremont closed. I know I am not the only one who has noticed this in the Conover store.

I was there on Saturday between 230 and 330. It was raining really bad. My experience was great until I was out in the parking lotI left my buggy outside on the right side to go get my car. When I pulled up there was already 2 other cars there and preceded to load my groceries when a lady employee came up to me and spoke very rude to me telling me I would have to move thats not where you load groceries. I was not aware there was a certain side to do this. I told her I would be done by the time she got back up there and she mumbled to herself about me. Then she pushed the kids cart right up on my car. I did not appreciate her attitude towards me at all. She was very rude and if this is the way she acts toward the public maybe she needs a job away from people. Its obvious she lacks the skills to be pleasant towards the public!

Deli manager has terrible customer service skills, asked for several sandwiches that they premake and put in holding case and instead of offering a solution just told me it would be an hour before she would make them because she had other things to do, I asked if it took an hour to make 4 sandwiches and then she changed it to 30 min because again she had other things to do, so I said Ill go ask the manager, manager comes over then deli lady proceeds to continue to argue with me and say that Im talking to her like a dog, I never said anything disrespectful or out of the way to her because I am in the food service industry myself and would not, I did tell her exactly what she told me and then she wanted to continue to argue with me about how thats not what she said in front of her manager which is ridiculous! Will not ever purchase anything from this deli department again until they train their staff about customer service!
