Thanks for the staff digging deep into their parts database to find NoS windshield wipers, which with the recent customer appreciation discount definitely came in even cheaper than any of the online sources. And arrived the next day (a.m.) from warehouse.Also asked about availability of keyless remote key fobs, and was surprised to hear they dont bother to sell them. Glad I asked though, as the rep gave me a tip about a auto recycler that I had never heard of previous !! Where I found a probable key fob but was not recognized by the vehicle sys (cheaper than a good bowl of borscht so low cost gamble LoL),But I did find parts out in the recyclers yard that I could use. Thanks for the tip on the back-up parts source !! ;-)
Came in looking for a part and before I was even able to finish telling the worker what I needed they said they couldnt help. I tried to ask another question and they said they were busy, couldnt do it, and that I should go to some other store.

Horrible experience with this location. I bought a brake caliper from them and when changing out the old caliper with the new, I placed the old caliper in the box. Unfortunately the brake fluid in the caliper ruined the box from the new caliper, but I had the receipt and the tag which was all that the cashier told me I needed to get my core charge back. Upon going to the store they refused to give me the core charge (112.00) and further to that told me that if I didnt have the original box I would not get it back ever. Long and short do not shop at this store as they are all about hosing their customers by scamming them out of their core charge even with all the info they stipulated was required. I ended up taking the part back to the Sunridge Part Source (on 32nd Street NE) which had no problem with the return (I just put it in another box which is all they asked). It is unbelievable that a location like the Goddard Avenue Part Source is still in business as this was a horrible experience for a customer. Like I said do yourself a favor and go down to a Part Source that actually cares about their customers like the Sunridge Part Source.
Not very pleased with this store. I have a condition which exempts me from masks. I came in with my daughter who is 2 and one of the clerks asked me to wait outside because I did not have a mask. I said to him that I have a condition but he still wanted me to wait outside.. with my daughter. The fact that there was only 2 people in the store was not cool. So I am not shopping there anymore and will spread the word.

I went in and bought 2 vehicle batteries...1 transaction took about 45mins 😡He brought out 3 wrong batteries.He blamed it on the system.If didnt know what my battery looked like... I would have wasted even more time.Then another 45min wasted when I returned the cores and my buddy got the wrong rotors and pads as well...Poorly managed and trained personnel!!

The counter staff is great!!! Very helpful but understaffed grossly!!! Worse yet the manger strolled past and was not helping anyone or assisting staff (I was told a common occurrence). Great place, management needs to do something.... anything!

This is by far the worst auto shop Ive ever delt with. Bought four callipers for our car, three of which were defective meaning I had to go back three times for new parts, caused my break job to last two months. Terrible customer service. Good at answering the phones and putting you right on hold. Clearly under staffed. The best they could do for my troubles was $30 off one calliper. So if your looking for a bad time!!! Shop here!
Very bad service. I have been to this location few times. Nothing has changed. You sit and wait over half hour in the line up waiting to be served. I have seen many people who get sick of waiting and just leave line up and walkout of store.. This location needs to be managed properly. I will not be coming back to this location as they are not organized and they sit and chat while customers are waiting.
Prices are usually the best. Helped me with returns despite not having receipts. Even when the the phone was ringing off the hook, they were helpful and didnt rush me. 5/5 every time.

Poor service. Partsource come recommended from my knowledgeable mechanic mate. Ive been here before and havent had issues but recently went to pick-up an upper and lower radiator hose for my Xterra. I called beforehand to confirm stock, I was told they had what I needed. Upon arrival I was left waiting for 30 minutes to be served. The lower radiator hose on the Xterra is often listed as 2 hoses, one a pipe to engine hose and one a radiator to pipe hose. I wanted the radiator to pipe hose. The man serving me had a poor attitude and got me the pipe to engine hose. I told him that wasnt the part that I needed. He had a bad attitude, told me thats all they had and didnt go back and check for me. In other inventory systems the pipe to engine hose and radiator to pipe hose are often listed under the same category, so Im pretty sure they had the other hose. He just had such a bad attitude that he couldnt be bothered to check.I was left waiting for a half hour and no effort was made to provide me with the part that I actually needed. Maybe the waiting time was due to Covid, but the attitude wasnt necessary. Im giving Autovalue a try now. So far theyve made an effort to provide me with the right parts.

Good place to buy simple car parts. I actually go to this place quite often not just for car and truck related parts but also for simple tools, oils, mats and tarps. I really like that they are a good place to buy car and truck parts but also some other stuff that useful in other areas of my life.
Dont frequent this store that often but staff knew what they were talking about and they had what I was looking for. I did find that the knowledge of the counter staff was better than other parts stores that I have been to in the past. Overall good experience.
They have had every part I ever needed in stock. The guy who helped me last time was called Zach. He went out of his way to help us understand how to install the parts, even showed us pictures and when we still didnt get it, he went and got the part we were attaching it to and showed us. Amazing.
I always stress out when my vehicle requires any repair. It feels like you see a mechanic and they look left then right, and after scratching their balls they throw out some daunting price. So with the help of YouTube I decided to attempt the repair myself. I determined the part and wandered over to part source on McKnight in calgary.A young gentleman took some time to explain the removal and install process, when he clearly had other customers waiting patiently. Very impressed and thankful for the help

Went in last Saturday to buy engine oil, filter, and transmission fluid. Good sale prices in effect but I did end up getting a brand of oil Ive never used (Total Quartz 9000) so will see how that goes. Staff seemed a bit too relaxed to me, but they all appeared to be dealing with either complex requests or customers who like to gab. I stood as the sole customer in line for a good 15 minutes, and didnt even get an acknowledgement until one of them finished with their customer. Thankfully the staff member was very personable / friendly and she made my wait time disappear from memory...mostly. I asked if she had received any feedback regarding the oil I selected, and she said she hadnt heard anything - good or bad. I was hoping for a little reassurance other than what I gathered from the manufacturers label on the back of the jug. I received no more info; nothing. No questions for me, no asking someone else if theyve heard anything..nada, zip, zero. There was also a promo on this oil and you get a $5 gas card with a 5 litre purchase. I first asked about the card, then saw it at one point during checkout, and then I didnt see it again. She passed me my bag and receipt; so I thought maybe it was in the bag so I asked her. Not only was it not in the bag, it hadnt been activated either. She thanked me for reminding her and referred to lacking coffee. It was a Saturday and I wasnt in a particular hurry that day...but some days I am. Had I been greeted with this level of service on a day I was in a rush, I probably would have set my stuff on the floor and walked out. My total purchase was just over $50 so not huge...but its oil change stuff...I have 2 cars that get changed 3-4 times a year, plus other odd maintenance pieces or parts required, it adds up! Ill let this one slide Parts Source, but if it happens again you will lose me. And if there was a manager around that afternoon (I presumed there wasnt) where were you?? Who ensures high quality service is provided if you arent there? How do you know? I dont blame the staff member for the mediocre experience...its your job to be certain that everything has been done to minimize the chance of these occurrences and unfortunately, I feel more could have done in my case to better prepare the staff member(s). Just my two cents. Thanks.
Ive always had good service. Theyve always answered my questions and provided advice.The prices have always been competitive with other local retailers. Ive never had any issues with purchased parts. I buy quality parts, if theyre a fair amount of work, so I dont have to fix the same thing in 6 months.
Although the staff was helpful, I felt really uncomfortable that there was a family in the store not wearing masks when the store has clear signage saying you must wear one (and there is a bylaw). The staff needs to enforce the rules so that those of us who want to be safe dont have to feel unsafe.

Whenever I go to part source I always have to come back to return incorrect part & etc. Or I need to go all over the city to get something. Staff don’t know how to read receipts for refunds. Had to go to 3 different locations to get an error resolved.

They supposedly have tools you can use. Good luck if you need a strut compressor. They will tell you they have several but they are all out and that you should just keep calling in in case a tool is returned but is not yet registered into the inventory computer. This went on for weeks until I finally just went over to Auto Value and immediately got one.
Good parts store, priced little bit higher than other competitive stores, but carry lots of OEM parts so may be your best bet!

Apparently I should have had Zac help me out. Instead I had a very rude and snotty girl tell me that my 2015 dually 3500 has aftermarket wheel studs?????? I told her that the fronts and back are different and she came back with I must have aftermarket studs! Didnt even bother to look any deeper just couldnt wait for the next customer to piss off. First and last time I will go there.

Used regularly by a friend who often gets an incorrect part . I purchased a part while with him and did not get around to installing for a while - and when I did the part was wrong. I went back to a closer store but because I lost the bill and it was over 30 days they would not exchange it for the correct part. Back to the Goddard store - same answer. The part was in their original packaging. The wrong part was also more expensive than the correct part and they would not simply EXCHANGE it even though I did not want the difference back. The first store I had tried to return it to had also tried three times to bring out the right part before coming out with the correct part. I made a note of all the part numbers related to the correct part and when I returned to the Goddard store they again brought out a box with another incorrect part in a box with the correct part numbers on it. Same box, same numbers wrong part. Still no return or exchange even though they had given me the wrong part. Contacted head office who spent quite some time with me getting my story correct and then said they would call me back. When they did call back they said I could now return the part - but the extra money owed me would not be returned - but would have to be spent on something in the store immediately. The $60 was then applied to a $120 floor jack which I later returned and finally got my money back - SIX VISITS later. (All these dealings were with the managers!) Do not waste your valuable time with this backwater outfit. Other stores like NAPA and Bumper to Bumper or AutoValue village, Bowness Autoparts are the way to go.

Never going back to this store again...I went to this store on December the 3rd 2013. There were several associates around the store organizing things. I went to and got what I needed and went straight to the payment counter. There was one associate at the counter and about 4 others scattered around the store busy doing their own thing.I waited at the counter for 8 minutes to pay for the merchandise but nobody cared to even ask if I needed any help. I just left the store after. I frequently go to other auto part stores and their service is a lot better than this place.

Sat on hold twice for 5 minutes before hanging up and finding what I needed elsewhere. As someone who works in the auto industry, this is embarrassing and something needs to be done.

This store is absolutely horrible dont trust them they discriminate against people with disabilities especially when you are working for them. I was fired while on wcb because I had my left hand crushed by the steel door because there delivery driver bolted open the door on my hand. They sent me out in a vehicle to deliver parts that was dangerous to drive. Engine light on the transmission was messed up I told the management nothing was done they repeatedly treated me poorly. Thanks to our wcb claims they are paying for me while I am injured

Unbelievably slow service, and a staff that seems apathetic and unknowledgeable. I walked in there to buy some coolant, and I was in line for over 20 minutes. There are maybe two people running the counter, one of which was on the phone, and the other was helping a customer. Meanwhile, a few other staff are just standing around near by the counter not doing anything as if theyre on break or something. If you ever need parts, save yourself the trouble and go to auto value instead

I went to this location to purchase a simple automotive switch. I was told by this parts person that the switch I was looking for was an aftermarket part and that they did not carry aftermarket parts. What?!....is PartSource not an aftermarket parts store?...i bought a k&n filter for my 2012 dodge caravan at this same location....is that not an aftermarket part?....anyway I went home and found the part I needed on Amazon and it will be here today. My advice to PartSource is...maybe start staffing your locations with some more knowledgeable and friendly people. It is pretty sad that customers have to walk away feeling stupid and mistreated because this company has to hire sub par unintelligent staff! I understand they have an employee named Zach who is very helpful and knowledgeable....maybe he could give the blonde little female some advice on customer service and automotive switches!....Also she should look up her company name on the internet to see that PartSource is classified as an aftermarket part store!....If she doesnt like having something mansplained to her...maybe she should present herself other than a ditzy blonde! Wet hair to get a couple of Parts turns out the guy came out and looked at my engine and still gave me two or three of the wrong parts, wrong air filter wrong spark plugs not impressed! got back in time to get a new air filter or sorry its refund because they didnt have what I needed in stock. Still need to return back to get refund on my spark plugs
