I had an appointment at 1 oclock I was told it would take an hour I was ok with this they didnt take my car into the shop until 130 it sat in the shop for 45 minutes and nobody touched it a couple of people had come in after me and left and my car still hadnt been touched I finally went to the front desk and told them that I had been waiting for 1 hour and twenty minutes and they hadnt even started and I had to pick my grandson up at school immediately 3 guys worked on mh car and the tires were changed in 10 minutes terrible customer service and I had been going to them for years will not be going back

They got a rare EGR tube and it fits. Hopefully they can install it without any issues. Were tight for money right now and could use a break.

Long-time customer who purchased winter tires with guarantee that the tires would be changed over at no cost over the lifetime of the tires. I have to go out of my way to visit this shop but did so for this deal. New policy this year changed that policy without a thought. I understand initiating new changes for new customers but this sort of promotion should be grandfathered to existing customers. They did not keep their word. Why promise something if you are going to take it away? (Edit: Im sorry your reply below fails to address my question and implies understanding).

Just as the other reviewer said, they said come over and in 45 mins my new snow tires were on, and I asked them to check my battery, they could have told me it was needing to be replaced and taken advantage of me, but didnt. Battery was good. Excellent experience !!

Had a dead battery so i called and they got me in on a moments notice. Dave and his crew were great and you cant beat their price for new battery and install. My dealership would have charged double and they even beat the price at the chain Oil and lube place! I was in and out in 30 minutes. Very impressed.

Very nice people. 700 km from home and a rare dimension tire that was coming apart with wires sticking out on the inside, they found a used one in stock for 55$ installed. 👍

I called them up mid-Saturday morning thinking theres be no way I could get a set of tires installed that morning. I was wrong. Come on in, was the reply. Upon arrival they said it would be a 45 minute wait, and thats exactly what it was.I checked prices beforehand at the local C*stco, and Niagara Battery and Tires prices were even better. Comparing prices, NB&Ts out-the-door price was about the same as I would have paid at C*stco even before installation and environmental fees and taxes were added. Thats quite the savings.From what Ive heard from other locals, their service is fantastic, and so far, I cant disagree.Highly recommended.

Ive been coming to Niagara and battery and tire for at least 20 years (since I bought my first car) but usually I was just a customer for purchasing tires and enjoying the service of free changeover of winter/summer tires (free if you purchased your tires here).I appreciated that when they did the switch over of tires, they would also take a quick peek and let you know if there was anything wrong with the tires, if they had where or cracking or should be replaced, or anything else unusual that they noticed.Circumstances dictated that I needed to have my winter tires put on at the beginning of September, and I was surprised and disappointed to hear that now there is a $40 charge for switching over your tires even if you did purchase them at this location (I purchased my summer tires at the end of May this year and that was not mentioned).But, ok.While they were switching my tires, they let me know that there was a mechanical issue that needed to be fixed, I told them to go ahead with it, they got right on it and fixed the problem very quickly. I thought they were very communicative, polite, honest, and I really enjoyed doing business with them and getting back on the road.I would definitely recommend this business

Great service! Very reasonably priced and quick service. Even when I dont have an appointment for my car, they always manage to squeeze me in and get the work done (tire changes, tire repair, etc). The service desk is always friendly and organized, and they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience.

I’m not really sure what’s going on with this shop. I have been dealing with them for over 25 years since they were on Bridge Street. In the past you could never get a parking spot in their lot because they were always so busy. The last couple of visits it has been like a ghost town with lots of empty parking spots and lots of empty work bays. Maybe it’s Covid but I have to wonder.Based soley on previous experiences 5 stars would have been selling them short but the last few visits have been underwhelming.I went in to have my tires rotated and within a month I looked and saw that the fronts were worn 1/2 way through the wear indicators and in dire need of replacement.Have they worn that much in a month? I don’t think so. Why would you send a customer out without indicating to them that the tread was low and the tires should likely be replaced? It’s not like you don’t want/need the business based on what I see in the parking lot and shop.Never mind Covid.I returned and requested that the tires be replaced and from past experiences Jim would speak with me and keep me informed of the status. He would have fought (and always did) with my lease company to replace all four.When the job was done this time I simply got the “it’s done” call and when I showed up to find mis-matched tires on the vehicle I was not very impressed. It honestly looks bad in my opinion. No input solicited from me if I was ok with only replacing 2 or even what tires I wanted installed.What happened to the leadership at the shop?Is big Mike still in charge?Who’s running the place?What happened to Jim whom I have bought at least 5 sets of tires through?I hope it’s only a Covid thing but I have to wonder.

I have been going to Niagara battery & tire at the Niagara Falls location for 20 years, I never buy tires anywhere else but at Niagara battery & tire. I went through 6 cars since then and spent thousands of dollars.I have been trying to switch over my winter tires for two weeks now. They have turned me down every tome because they are busy. I tried to make an appointment but there is no such thing with this company. They want me to drop off the car at 7am and then maybe they’ll fit it in. I told them that I have to drive my kids to school and that I’m working. I asked do I have to take the day off of work so I make an appointment? They said too bad no appointments.I am done with Niagara battery & tire.DONE DONE DONE

Literally one of the most fabulous priced and best service companies in Niagara.They offer the best prices for batteries, competitive prices on tires and their service is excellent.They can do most anything on your car mechanical. They work on large fleets of vehicles for your business like they do for our business or they can work on your moms grocery getter and your daily driver.They also offer over the road tire repair from cars to big boy transport trucks plus roadside assistance for many of their items.

From out of town on family trip. Came in to get nail removed from tire and get it repaired/plugged. Was told the job would be 1hr. Seemed kind of long since the tire was already off but decided to stay instead of looking for another shop. 3 hrs into the job I was called up to the receptionist who suggested we get a new tire. After some consideration, I bought 2 new tires to have them changed and was told my van would be ready in an hr. Yet, another hour and half pass and I ask how much longer and I am told they are just balancing tires and finishing up... finally 4.5 hrs later I had my tires changed.Missed out on the family trip to sit in the shop for 5 hrs ... not the best time. Would have appreciated notice that they were backed up/busy I would have gladly came back for the van later when it was finished. $300 and 4.5 hrs to swap 2 tires, not suggesting this shop.

I called twice Niagara Battery & Tire for a quote. Both times, a representative picked up the phone and immediately hung up. Why even bother.

This is our GO TO place for general auto service, tire purchase/swaps for winter/rotation, etc., for all makes and models of cars. When an engine light comes on in one of our work or personal vehicles we always call and book a visit to the Niagara Falls location, which is just off Stanley Avenue near Thorold Stone Road. Now, I will say this is a VERY busy business and you do have to book between one to three days ahead most of the time. But they are honest, and their experienced technicians will usually solve all your auto related problems most of the time. Ask for Dave and tell him I sent you. Enjoy.

Need a better system for tire replacement and repairs. Just take a number and hope for the best. Understand its a busy time of the year but would be nice to have some timeline on repair, other than take a seat and hope for the best.

This is an awesome place you must know if you encounter a small problem such as nails in your tire. I went to Niagara Battery & Tire today without a reservation (actually it is a walk-in service, didnt know) for a nail in the tire. 45minute wait and done! And super price!! I was surprised to see the amount of money they charged for 45minute service, even though pulling out a nail shouldnt be a big deal.I will recommend this place for anybody. (:

I am from Pittsburgh PA and had a dead battery upon arriving at Niagara Falls. After being turned away by multiple locations in town I finally ended up at Niagara Battery and Tire. The staff was extremely friendly and understanding. They helped me out and got me back on the road in under an hour even with a full lobby for customers. I would recommend this place to anyone who has similar problems as me

(Written by my Finance)I have been going to Niagara battery and Tire (Niagara Falls Location) for years, have always bought my tires, snow tires and rims from them but Wednesday was an experience I will never forget.I had called 2 weeks prior to try and book an appointment for snow tires, and I was told to show up at 7 as they are extremely busy. I understand that but the customer service I was shown yesterday was a disgrace!Long story short I showed up at 7:15.. they were no longer taking appointments for the day.. ok great, just drove 40 minutes but okay cool... so I asked them to just give me my tires back (I pay for them to be stored there) and I will take care of switching them over myself. The service attendant said it would be awhile so I patiently waited 30 minutes for them to retrieve them. After 30 minutes, he informs me that they are ready. I walked outside and they were sitting there on the curb beside their garage with no one around to help..... are you kidding me??Let’s keep in mind that I am a single girl, and I now have to DRAG my tires which are on rims and are extremely HEAVY across the parking lot and somehow lift them into my car. As I STRUGGLED to do this not one person came to help, there were employees walking by, watching me struggle and I swear the other guys were sitting at their desks watching me struggle through the windows!! I am honestly disgusted with this service, I understand the place is busy but I have purchased the tires and rims for this place and have paid $60+ every 6 months to have them stored there, you would think the least they could do is help me for 2 minutes to load the tires in my car!!Well I hope they got their last laugh watching me struggle because that is the last time me, my family or anyone I know will ever go to Niagara Battery and Tire.Thanks for your swell customer service!👌🏻

I have been going to Niagara Battery & Tire for over 10 years and overall have had a great experience.I have been to other garages before and if it wasnt the service at these places it was the price gouging.Thats why I have been going here for this long that says something..UPDATEI have never been changed for tire repair and then the other day I get charged $25 for a simple tire plug and they didnt even top up the tire pressure.Thats poor service .Thanks

Called to have my snow tires put on since there is no charge due to buying them from them for like $1600.00 to be told they are CHARGING this year cause business was slow .. how is that my problem why should i have to pay more when I already gave u lots of money and that service should be free like normal .. this will be the last transaction i will ever have with this company ... such a RIP OFFWOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD !!!!

Terrible,you think I learned the first time (.First) time two tires 4 hours, today one tire 2hours.Staff in and out having their smoke,music blaring.Was talking to older gentle,he told me he should of packed a lunch because he was waiting so long(bulls...) never ever again, No management what so ever

No auto expert here and these guys have been great. Whenever I was told I needed work done at the dealership garage, they kept putting it off until the work was needed. I waited a year for new tires and brakes that the dealership suggested I do way too early. Bonus - they do your snow tires for free when you buy them here. If you cant leave car, book appt by late Oct to get in by Dec because theyre busy but its quick!

The website and business hours on the door say open at 8. On the phone they stated first come first serve. Got there at 730 this morning and there were appointments throughout the day, couldnt get me in and they open at 7. Not to mention the horrible condition of the parkinglot which is a safety issue, will be reporting.

I bought winters from them a while back. I called and made the appointment to have them installed. When I got there the extremely rude guy at the desk kept interrupting me as i was explaining I was there to get winters on that Id ordered. He said yeah yeah, we got it, and sent me off to the diner for breakfast. Said it would be an hour. An hour later I went back and he said where were you? The tires werent in your car! I said if you had let me finish youd know that I was coming to get tires I was buying from you, and you made it sound like you knew what was going on. Bah. They got them done in another hour and a half. At the end of the winter, when I went to take them off, I found that the lugs were a different size than the ones on my all seasons. But they never told me that, and I didnt have a tire iron for them. Imagine if Id been stuck with a flat. Id not have been able to change my tire! I called to complain but the rude guy didnt seem to care that I could have been stuck in the cold with no way to change my tires. Terrible service and not worth the hassle.
