It was amazing heading in there, I was looking for a piece for a 70s kenmore sewing machine. Not only did Mike take the time to find the proper belt, but the lady at the cash ( sorry! I DIDNT CATCH YOUR NAME! I AM SORRY!) was MEGA sweet! Knew was they where doing and because of them I have a very smoothly running machine.Prices are amazing and the people where even better!Will definitely be coming back!Thank you for being amazing!

Had to get a sewing machine for my mother thats helping me out. Mike was extremely helpful in choosing a machine for her and getting her the accessories needed.It was nice to find out they service all their machines and are available by phone with any questions. This is why you shop local.

Mike and Tina at Niagara Sewing are the best. They are my go to for machine parts and service and have become my favourite place to buy fabric. They are never too busy to answer my questions--Mike is so helpful with any machine issues and Tina has brought my quilting to a higher level with her help and expertise. They have a wealth of talent between them and I am more than happy to recommend them to anyone that sews!!!

I have never been disappointed shopping here. As soon as they see me pulling into the parking lot, Mike rushes out so that I never have to carry my machine into the store. And always takes extra time to make sure to carry my machine back out when the repairs have been done. Regardless if my machine has just been cleaned or repaired I never have to worry about the care that has been taken. All of the staff is top notch ☺️

Mike and Tina have excellent knowledge of their products and fair prices. They offer a free hour lesson when you purchase a machine from them. Also, when I have a question about my new machine, Tina is very receptive to my sewing machine questions and patiently helps me solve them. We are lucky to have this business in Niagara Falls with access to quality machines, materials, threads, you ask it they have it or they will look at getting it for you.

Sadly, my Pfaff machine cannot be serviced by Mike anymore but he sure did an excellent job when he could service my sewing machine. Tina and Mike have both been great at offering to order items not normally carried by them. Their knowledge of current sewing and quilting trends is admirable. They are my go to shop when I need anything. Thanks for being there.

I am so happy that I met Tina & Mike. Super nice people. Wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful. I bought my Embroidery machine from them last June...a few weeks later, she fell ill.....Mike went in on his weekend to try and fix her. Sadly, she had a mysterious illness, and they helped to choose my new Elna and I couldnt be happier. Their expertise and professionalism is impressive. Thank you for always being there.

They have a good selection of accessories and threads. Will order an item if they dont supply it. Their classes are informative and small so that no one is rushed or left behind. Very personable and helpful people!

Great work and done in one day

Near the end of summer, I popped into Niagara Sewing Machine Services to investigate my options for purchasing a sewing machine and I’m so grateful I did. Not only did I manage to snag myself a great machine (on sale too!), but I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received.Mike and Tina are the loveliest people I’ve ever met. They were both incredibly helpful when it came to assisting me with selecting a machine that would meet my needs, and since that time, they have both continued to be amazingly supportive.I tend to find myself back at the store regularly to pick up various items that I need and every time, I am so impressed with how kind and generous Mike and Tina are. They are both extremely friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and gracious when it comes to helping their customers. And you can tell they genuinely care about what they do. Mike and Tina are the kindest and most generous souls I’ve encountered in quite some time. I am so fortunate to have stumbled upon such phenomenal people.

A great place! The repairs we had done were fast and good quality. The sewing machine selection is good, as is the selection of accessories. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Mike is amazing! Fixed my machine quickly and with his usual good nature. He keeps it in good running order with my annual cleaning and checkup. Be sure to reserve a time so you wont be without your machine for long.

A few years ago I would have rated service here as excellent, 5 star. However, somethings changed and I am very unhappy with service. I have two vintage machines which when serviced here 3 years ago came home purring like kittens. This year I took them in and had the following experiences.My green supermatic came home with the same issues it went in with and the rare, wavy washer from the clutch knob was missing. This is an issue because it is difficult to tighten the knob enough to actually engage the motor pulley (friction wheel). No, they dont have the washer and I cant get it anywhere.When I went to pick up my beige supermatic the first time I told them I was not happy with the noise it was making and that it was not right. Its fine they told me, its ok to run it with that noise. Ok, I took it home and during the first use the motor pulley shredded completely away. No problem, they said theyd replace so I took it back. Went to pick up the second time and found the pulley now installed was broken on both sides of the roll pin. Pointed it out and they said theyd replace. Left the machine. Third pick up, was fed up, didnt try the machine, just picked up. When I went to use it at home, not only was the needle gone, but the bobbin was also missing. Nice. I can understand a needle breaking, but taking my bobbin? These machines take special bobbins, so I am flummoxed that it is missing. This machine is also just as noisy as when I took it in initially.Its easy for them to blame problems on the age of the machines, however the old gentleman that was doing repairs a few years ago had no problems with them. Age also doesnt explain missing pieces.I will never buy a machine there and never will I ever take a machine there for servicing again.
