Extremely helpful from beginning to finish. Had previously visited a terrible store in downtown Buffalo, and was sent here. this location went above and beyond for me, from the truck rental, to returning some items I had not used. Truly exemplary in customer service!

If you can place orders for rentals, Storage and cancel orders on line it doesn’t make sense that you can’t cancel them. I’ve had a storage unit for two months. I found another place so I took everything out of my storage on 27th of July I forgot two stands I left outside my unit went back a half an hour later and U Haul had already put another lock on my unit . I called on Friday 30th and Saturday the 31st of July to cancel my storage because I don’t need it anymore. was told I have to cancel it in person at that site. I told them I was never told that and that I was out of the country and would not be back by the 1st. They documented everything I said and said they left a message twice telling Niagara Falls NY site to call me back. No one ever called me back.Sincerely, Krista

We went to pick up our reserved Uhaul at the reserved time and upon arrival, were told that they did not have a truck for us. We were told the people who had that truck that morning never brought it back and they had been calling for 4+ hours with no answer… yet nobody bothered to call us and give us a heads up. We were also told it was a busy day so he had no clue we even had a reservation until we walked in to get it… 1) not great that you don’t know what you have going on and 2) when you saw a truck didn’t come back, wouldn’t you have looked to see if it was supposed to go somewhere else? They told us we could pick up a truck at a different location (Kenmore or Transit) but at that point, we did not have the time or resources to get out that far. They threw our move into complete chaos that night. Unacceptable.

I wish i had my own storage unit company!!! Currently paying $80/month for last 11 months. 😣

No, they’re not the friendliest bunch but they do what they can do get you what you need. I’ve rented trucks, dollies, trailers, and I buy propane from these folks and I hope they’re around for a long time.

Very disappointed with service. May I mention I did not receive the equipment I set to reserve for my move. As a result, I was forced to rent two different trucks a day apart and still was not able to transport my vehicle. My mother and I was asked if we were going to leave the state with the pick-up truck and motor cycle trailer (wrong trailer) reserved on the second day (solely due to lack of trained agents). The young Caucasian worker had to ask permission to provide us with service. Totally unacceptable being as though one week prior I rented a truck to move my mothers belongings in to one of Military Road storage units. Not to mention, we both possess local NY state licenses. I remain confused to why we were asked if we were leaving the state? The older gentlemen who was rude asking bias question is said to be the store manager. I would advise all females to take a male along with you to this location to avoid the same mishap. After, placing a complaint with customer service on 2/11/20 the same jerk called to ask why didnt let it be known we were unhappy while in the store. Laugh out loud if that is not asking for trouble I dont know what is. Was promised a call back by the head Manager Heather on 02/14/2020. In case your wondering that courtesy call never happened. The worse service I have ever received. Would not recommend with a friend but if I have to deal with this location my dad and brothers will be attending. Thanks for allowing me to share. Booked a 20 ft truck for 8 hrs. Both employees during check in and check out were great! I highly recommed this location.

One of the most reckless and dangerous experiences I have had. I rented a truck and ubox from them. They brought up the truck with the Ubox attached. I drove 20 miles to load it and after loading it at the storage, drove back home to leave it on the drive way. That’s when I noticed that they had attached the Ubox trailer with the tongue still down!!!! Then when I go to remove the trailer from the truck, I notice that one of the stands is missing from the rear! After that, I wanted to lock my valuables, but the whole lock latch was missing from the Ubox! Seriously?? You’re going to kill someone with your incompetence.

The workers were rude disrespectful and they WAY over changed me got me for 150.00 Hate this PLACE!!!!!

UPDATE: I tracked my miles by doing the same route in my car and it was 12 miles exactly!!! They charged me for 44 miles.Original Review:Over changed me on my millage, said I went 44 miles since I left the lot. Thats literally impossible I drove at the very most 15 miles. ( I wish I would have taken a picture for myself for proof!) I didnt even put in gas into the truck because the needle never moved. I even mapee out my route and there is no way I drove 44 miles in 2 hours of having the truck.Im very unsatisfied with the service. This was my first time using uhal and I most likely will never use them again. I would advise anyone to check the mileage yourself and take a picture and keep track yourself to make sure.

I went to get my propane tank filled and they were very nice filled the tank fast put it ack in my car and at a fair price .

This is total rip off. I filled the gas level more then what was originally in their. I drove about 15 mile and added 2 gallons of gas in the truck. They still still charged me extra for 1.5 gallon of gas. So the truck takes 3.5 gallon of gas for 15 miles. And the rep at the counter wasnt even interested at listening to what i get to say. I use uhaul service every month for my business. This will be the last time.

Rented a cargo van yesterday, drove 36 miles and filled the gas tank with 4.5 gallons of gas. Dropped my vehicle in full tank. Next morning when I saw my invoice, they charged extra $18 for 5.3 gallons of gas. This is a second time they overcharged my account. Now have to call Uhaul customer service to get this matter resolved, because as always store cant do anything.
