I bought and had a hitch installed on my SUV. The hitch was back ordered and took about 4 weeks to get in. Staff kept me up to date on the backorder. When it came in I made an appointment for the install. William did a great job and the install was tricky because the read bumper had to be taken off. While waiting I interacted with other staff. Excellent service. Whatever problems they had in the past seem to have been rectified.
Wow, those guys are great! Its a third time that Im using that location services since I moved from Hamilton and it always was 5star service, but today it was below, the technician did a repair of the damage that Hamilton location did to my new vehicle,He did a very great job!!!That location and the stuff are awesome!!!Keep going and thank you for a great service!!!
What horrible people they have running and working here... While I was waiting coming into the office, all the workers were behind a desk making some pretty racist remarks about a customer who just walked out. Disgusting. Will not be back recommend you do not support them either.
One star because of the manager. I have had a good experience her in the past with Chris Jo and others but the manager must think he is something special managing a uhaul!!He is rude and disrespectful and will straight-face lie to you!I may use this location again, against my better judgement, but I refuse to have further interactions with Matthew the manager.To add insult to injury I called the 1-800 number to complain and was told someone will contact me. Nobody called… apparently corporate doesn’t care how their staff treats the customers. 🤷🏼♂️
Storage price is not competitive rip off you cant even stand up in the spaces way too expensive for the size. Truck mileage is more per kilometer or as much as miles in America why?Why does the Canadian consumer get ripped off by these American multinationals constantly?Recommend shopping around if youre looking for storage and buying Canadian with a local support your community not blob Mart
Interesting....I put in a review April 2021 regarding the NF Kent St. UHaul and it is no longer there. Guess they did not like what was said. Truth is, it was not a favorable review! Just interesting that it can be removed. Funny thing was, right after my review, a beautiful positive one was written...hmm interesting too. Oh well.
I always liked U-Haul and go there as much as i can. This particular location has been great too. Until today when I ran into this really happy lady. When I pulled in, the drive was blocked so i circled around to cut through the empty parking lot. Suddenly she jumpped out, yelling and waving. Like ive ran over a possum or something. It turned out to be web paint. And she blamed me loud for not seeing the sign. So I apologized and moved away. After done with my my busines, i walked around and checked on the sigh. Its a 1-feet tiny black no parking sign on the edge of the parking lot. There is no way anyone would realize that means web paint, or no entry. Most of people would put up a bigger sign, simply say web paint. Shes trying to find excuses and started laughing hysterically when I tried to talk to her. Not profession at all, and it reminds people of 3rd world police trap. It felt like shes out for it. (Monday, May 31, 2021)
Absolutely terrible experience. I booked a U-Haul truck for a Saturday morning move. I received a confirmation call on Thursday and the gentleman said I could pick my truck up at noon on Saturday. I had friends and family show up to help me with my move, and at 11:00am ON THE DAY OF MY MOVE, I received a phone call from U-Haul, cancelling my truck. I was left stranded without a moving truck. I called every single moving company and truck rental company in the Niagara Region for a desperate, last-minute move, and no one was available (understandably). I had booked my U-Haul truck over a week in advance, received confirmation... only to have my truck cancelled literally within an hour of me moving. I spoke to two different people on the phone, and both were rude and didnt seem to care about the fact that all of my furniture was on my driveway, and they had completely ruined my move. Ended up making over 6 trips in my dads pickup truck in order to move my furniture. I will never recommend U-Haul to my friends or family.

Terrible experience with hitch install. Booked an appointment for 9:30am. They took an emergency hitch install before me. Kept telling me they were starting the job and pushing install time back. After waiting 2 and a half hours without even starting on the job I walked out. Poor customer service. Blantantly lied to my face, wouldnt take responsibility and showed no empathy.
WARNINGS!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE WITH THE RENTAL TRUCK MANAGER in UHAUL NIAGARA - KENT STREET LOCATIONI made a reservation in the store 3 weeks in advance for 26 truck van for one way move.I called two days before my move to confirm and they said the truck is available for me on that day.The morning I picked it up the van I reserved is not available only a 15 truck I will be able to rent, I was shocked due to my 3 bedrooms house contents will not fit in a small van 230 kilometers one way move The Manager lied that they called and text me several times to inform methe changes the night before, but theres no recorded calls or text previous night in my cellphone number I gave them and I ask him to produce proof but nothing to show. Even do I was ready to get mad at the manager I held back, I have a few people waiting to help move that day so I settled with small van and second trip the following day. No apologies from the rental van manager VERY RUDE AND NON APOLIGITIC TO PAYING CUSTOMERS.NEVER COME TO THIS LOCATION FOR RENTAL VANS - U HAUL NIAGARA...SUCKS CUSTOMERS SERVICES!!!
To start i would give them a zero if i could.my daughther reserved a 15 fttruck on monday for the saturday move,she was told it would be readyfor 12 noon.they even confirmed friday night it would be ready.they phone saturday morning at 11 that they don,t have one available TILL 6:30 THAT NIGHT.she was moving out of town,everything was in the garage andon the front lawn and people were here to help.Very unreliable for a company that has been around for a while,threw our whole day intochaos.As u can see by other post stay clear of this company,
The girl who answers the phone is rude and they change their prices. Also my daughter stored her belongings in a climate controlled storage unit for 3 months when she went to grab her belongings they were full of mold.Stay away from this place.

I called last minute (10 minutes before arrival and 3 hours early from original pick up time) to pick up a truck and they had no issues having it ready. The blonde lady inside was very pleasant and tolerated my antagonistic mood I was in at the time.What better kind of customer service can you ask for. Wonderful place.

Failed to acknowledge my email until after a pre-lien notice and my response. I informed this location via e-mail that my credit card information was compromised and that they would recieve payment as soon as I received the new card in the mail. I was then served with a pre-lien notice and additional fees. I responded with another email outlining what I had previously told them about the credit card and informed them I would be removing my goods once I paid them, that I would no longer require their service since they were unable to understand the situation. No remorse, no apologies for their fees or emails just a general response stating that the emails were automatically sent out. I would not reccomend dealing with this location if you can avoid it, they were very unorganized from the beginning when they charged me late fees 3 months in a row due to not entering my credit card information in their system. There are better storage places in Niagara and I would rather give them my money then give U-haul another penny.
Friendly people :)The yard has lots of space for turning/getting around. Easy place to get out of with a trailer and only about a kilometer from the highway.The store is well layed out and makes picking up boxes very easy.
BeWare ::::NOT recommended at all ! there is a older employee in that location who is very rude and very un-polite, plus the regional manager of niagara area is very un-polite and totally not doing what he suppose to do !!!very un-profesional location .... and i feel bad that the good reputation ofU-HAUL getting trashed by one location!!! i hope somebody will do something about that!in general very bad experience! dont go there !!!
Terrible service at this location.Mis-management everywhere.Did not get my truck on time even after confirming multiple times.Thought the branch might be run badly but the Area Manager would be wise enough to take care of an extremely unhappy customer.He told me that maximum you would get a 50$ reservation money back gurantee because you signed up for it when you book the reservation.Where is the customer service here???????Even if you didn’t call me I knew this already.Extremely dissapointed!!!!!!
If i could id write 0 stars lol. Joke of a company i go in on tuesday to get uhaul (pick up) tell the guy at front cash with glasses in a brown buttoned up shirt no insurance and he charges me behind my back lol i said take it off i said no he said idk how to fix it call in morning. Then proceeds to give the keys to truck drives it up. He doesnt brush off snow from windows yet alone the back of pickup truck or leave me a brush to do it myself. The next morning they fight with me on phone saying no credit card on file so i give them the numbers on card again. Then she said ill be refunded the 15.00$ 2 days later i have not 1 not 2 but 8 transactions of them pulling money in and out of account and cause they screw up charge me 30$in late fees!!! Screw yoy guys! If youre stupid employee doesnt know how to do his job dont leave him there alone running the place!! They even had storage break ins! 3 cops cruisers were there! I recommended st catharines uhaul welland ave a wonderful place great costomer swrvice and employees respect you and smile and greet you when you walk in :)! They also clean up there trucks ! Again DO NOT GO TO UHAUL IN NIAGARA FALLS OFF HIGHWAY !!! Worst experience.Scheduled a hitch installation, got a reservation date for a week later. The day before the reservation got a call from the local office that they havent ordered the parts yet. Blamed call centre .So... Scheduled for 1 week later.Went in when scheduled (45 min. Drive each way), and when I arrive Im told that theres no tech in to do the work, and that theres no manager to talk to until later in the day and to call back to schedule another appointment. They said they called and left a message, but no record of a call on my phone, and no message in my voicemail.Then, I call around to other companies, and find one that could do the install in 2 days from now, and found out during that call that uhaul tried selling me an adapter that isnt even needed for the installation (though the rep told me it was required for the install).

Strong Pot smell in the reception area.plus they dont explain terms properly so that if you do mistake they can charge $25 for 5 miles drive for fuel.I was forced to pay $5 a mile for fuel because I didnt fill the tank after driving5 miles.

Normally get good service here, but today a woman named Shaniqua (not sure how to spell that) hung up on me after telling me she did have the trailer I needed on the lot, then after taking my credit card info realizes she does not have the trailer on the lot, instead of helping me to find another location she found it easier to hang up on me. Last time I use this location, maybe even Uhaul if I can find a trailer elsewhere.
Worst truck rental experience ever. Their vehicles seem to be poorly maintained and barely road-worthy. Both the brakes and and power steering failed while on the highway traveling 100 kph in the centre lane on the truck they rented to me.Worse than the nearly catostraphic failure of the truck was the catostraphic failure of customer service.U-Hauls roadside assistance was sluggish and borderline apathetic. The corporate customer service is nearly impossible to reach. I called the manager of this location using the contact info provided by corporate, after being advised that the local manager was to offer a remedy, and he refused to take my call.I have 2 pieces of advice for those considering truck and/or equipment rental, 1 dont consider U-Haul. 2 if you do use U-Haul, be prepared to dispute the charge on your credit card as it seems to be the only remedy available

A friend of mine rented a pick up truck and kept it 4 more days than planned due to the rain...on the third day she asked if I could do her a favor and go pay the rental rate for her and let them know she was keeping it another day...which I did... I used my ODSP card for payment . it belongs to my little girl who is 10 and has Downs Syndrome and myself. I have vasculitis. I made a $40 payment and a couple days later when my landlord came from out of town to collect his rent money my account that had $1,200 and change had only $66 in it. So I called uhaul and they told me they could use any card that was associated with the account.. they took an $1,100 payment and a $91 payment and a $41 payment they paid for her truck which was $330 and now it is 5 days later and I still have no money back from them.. they took the $945 dollar refund and put it on the girls card that was titled on the account because you cannot upload money onto a ODSP bankcard.. when I called them back they told me it was my problem and to go get it off my friend. My friend and I are no longer friends .. I am out 1200 and my landlord is evicting me seeing how this is the second month Ive been here and I cant pay rent. Ive tried talking over and over and over again to them and get the same response its not their problem tell me how its not their problem?

Change reservations our rental location pick up and delayed pick up by 8 hours. Wanted me to drive 2 hours the oposite direction to get a truck. It had been booked 3 weeks in advance at the U-haul store to guarantee what i wanted and when, I watched it go into the system. I called to confirm reservation a week later and was guaranteed the truck I needed, pick up time and location. When they called day before woman on phone was rude and verbally abusive to me. Will NEVER use U-haul.
If you wanna plan a whole day just for you to be told last minute they gave you false information and lose out on a lot of money, this is the place for you..also if you share how you feel about losing out the headguy will hit you with a I cant do anything until you are just about to walk out the door and he will say oh I was going to offer you something but never mind class act
They made a mistake with my order..But then corrected it and MORE then compensated for what they did.not to mention the great staff!! .. Recommend Niagara falls Kent location to anyone in area that is moving and needs service!!

Was charged incremental $s for fuel, even though returned truck with same amount. Would avoid returning vehicles here as they are clearly looking to charge extra $s to customers. At very least, be sure to take a picture of the fuel meter (as this was my mistake)!
