You know…I went into Verizon today rather upset. I yet again was facing issues with an iPhone that just wouldn’t turn on. When I went into the store, I met Nate. Not only did he take the time to try to figure out what was going on with my phone, he also helped me lower my bill. Inevitably, I had to buy a new phone, but I got an awesome deal on it. He also helped me set everything up and gave me recommendations on where to take my phone to try to recover everything I lost as I no longer had access. This is the first time EVER that I felt like someone at Verizon actually cared about me as a customer versus someone just wanting me to spend a ton on a phone. THANK YOU!

Had to replace my phone so I thought I would keep my business and spwnd money locally so I popped into hoping the Niceville Verizon store would have a phone. When I got to the store there were several people waiting and the tech that worked was alone so I thought oh no bad idea but I grossly underestimated his abilities to multi task. He patiently addressed all of my concerns and questions and was even able to get my phone to come on so I could save my pictures. Great job and customer service is hard to find but this store has a dedicated employee making it happen. 👍

My family and I has a fantastic experience at this store today. Went in to upgrade 4 phones, moving three from another service provider over to Verizon. KT was the person helping us today and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and made the process smooth and simple. Took us less than an hour to get in and out. THE STAFF AT RUSSELL CELLULAR WERE VERY COURTEOUS, ESPECIALLY JESSIE WHO DELIVERED OUR PHONES THAT WERE ORDERED ONLINE AND PICKED UP IN THE STORE. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS BUT I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND THE CHARGES ON THE RECEIPT AND THE SURPRISE THAT I CAN CHARGE $1400 WORTH OF PHONES TO MY VERIZON ACCOUNT BUT NOT THE TAXES AND OTHER FEES ADDED AT THE STORE. Julie at Russell Verizon in Niceville, FL was great to work with. First to get my iPhone X to hold over until I bought another... that was earlier October. She called again when the 11 came out and I told her I was holding out for the 12 Pro Max. She called again and gave me a deal I couldn’t refuse. The phone I wanted was ordered and a week later - viola. I made a curbside appointment with her today and again, the service she provided was great. Julie provided the best service I’ve had from any other Verizon service.

I had a rough day! My kayak sank and my phone fell to the bottom of the bay. I showed up to the store still dripping wet. The two associates there were so great with me just being friendly and helpful and joking with me and it ended up making my bad day a lot better. Recently went into this store for a simple service change (from ATT) and walked out 2 hours later unsuccessful and now with no properly working phone. After 1 hour waiting around for the reps to solve the issue it was finally recognized that the phone was locked by ATT and it would take up to 48 hours for it to be unlocked. This was after the initial rep randomly handed me the phone to talk to a customer service rep with no context on who or why I was speaking to, simply just handed me the phone then walked away. And who also recommended me to go to an ATT store and see if they can help, virtually doing her job for her and making her position at the business unnecessary. This lead them to not knowing what to do and hinting to me the idea that I will be without a phone for the next 48 hours. When a possible solution was considered it was nearly thrown away when the SIM card went missing but was luckily found on the floor behind a desk. Another rep, assuming the manager, sat on hold with ATT for a half hour then pawned the phone off on me to sit on hold instead of her for another 30 minutes. When someone answered they began to assume it was my responsibility to fix everything, which lead to me trying to find the rep so she could do her job, who was no where to be found. At that point it would have been more helpful for me to apply for a job at the store. Although friendly and polite they were, competence is paramount and this store has none of it. Go to a corporate store, you may have better luck. Looking forward to the default ‘sorry, we will fix it’ response below.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. YOU WILL BE LIED TO ABOUT ANY PROMOTIONS OR DEALS.I would give a zero rating If I could. My husband and I were told that the phone we bought would be a two-for-one deal. We were told that we would get our bill and it would charge us for both phones but after two months we would be charged for one phone and the money would be credited to our account. well we bought our phones in March of this year and after months and months of calling Verizon and trying to get the two for one deal we were promised we were finally told today in November that we were lied to by this store. Verizon customer service told us that we should never return to the store and that from now on we need to go through an actual Verizon store not a store that is allowed to sell Verizon devices. Verizon told us that we were lied to from the beginning because they only have 30 days to put a promotion and to progress but we were told to give it two months. We now have to pay for both phones even though we were told we were getting a 2 for 1 deal. My husband called the store to ask for the manager so that we could report them to Verizon and we were told that they could not talk to us unless we were there physically at the store. Well my husband is military so we do not live there anymore and theres no way we can speak to anybody about this matter. The person my husband spoke to also told him that he never heard of a 2 for 1 deal promotion.I am completely appalled at this type of business practice and would never suggest anyone to buy any devices from this store.

Absolutely the most unprofessional and rude service I have ever experienced. I don’t ever even write on these things but Kaylee (I have no idea what her job title was as she was not in any uniform and no name tag) here immediately when I walked in was hostile and accused me of fraud before I could even explain what I wanted to do. I just needed a new phone as I damaged mine that same day. Then, as I was getting the phone because I’m in fact NOT fraudulent (lol) they sat behind the counter and talked about how much they drank last night and partied. I’m personally disgusted that these people are representing such a reputable company.

This morning, June 22, I took my phone to the Niceville, Florida Verizon location and decided to terminate my old carrier and join Verizon.It was 9:55AM when I arrived at the store. After talking to the employee, I decided on a plan that would be pre-paid unlimited talk/text/data that would cost $60 with the military discount. After 90 minutes, the employee was still unable to make the switch and he had been on hold multiple times with Verizon for a total of 45 minutes. This was my only day off and I had to get my children from day-care, so I left the phone and SIMS card at the store and came back at 12:20PM to get the phone. The service was still not able to be switched the employee was STILL on hold (apparently). So, I left it yet again.I called the store 12 times that afternoon and was able to talk to a person 3 of the times. On one of the phone calls I was told to bring in my SIMS card holder. It appears the employee lost/broke this when he took my phone as I walked in the store with my phone in a protective case and left everything there. The card holder was nowhere to be found so after EIGHT HOURS of Verizon holding my phone hostage with no success, I go to pick it up at 6PM and just cancel the transfer attempt. My husband and I are both medical and have two very young children—at this point I just need a phone. Except now my phone is broken and will not work at all. I even bring in my old phone but without the SIMS card holder it is useless. So the employee tells me to go to the cell phone repair place and buy a SIMS card holder – I told him that my phone worked when I arrived into the store and I should not have to purchase something to fix it now. He agreed and said the only other option was to buy a prepaid phone for the night. I told him I would not because it was not my fault and asked for a loaner. So they found an old IPHONE and gave me a charger.I am now home at 6:40 PM with a phone that isn’t mine that only works for phone calls and my phone which now doesn’t work at all. That is what eight and a half HOURS at the Verizon store will do. Apparently at some point this morning I WAS able to switch carriers and was never told because I received emails at 10:30AM indicating I was part of Verizon. I was told at store I have to pay an activation fee and that I have to put my military discount on the plan myself. Amongst the 510 minutes that the store had my phone AND was on hold with corporate – this couldn’t be done? I also see my “current bill” is somehow $145 and my next bill is $99.38?! What happened to the $70 plan with a $10 discount for military and autopay? I was never even told about any options for signing-on like getting a new phone or paying off my old carrier. There has been absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at the store or when I try to contact Verizon – stupid chat or phone call only. No REAL people or emails!!I have since called the store about 15 times and nobody seems to want to help. Finally a lady that was filling in at the store (SUSAN) was amazing and actually told me the part was ordered and wouldn’t be in till Friday and she called corporate to try to get me a discount at my request. So I have a whole $60 off my first bill but I won’t have had a phone for FIVE DAYS.DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! And maybe don’t EVER switch to Verizon – huge mistake! They don’t care and neither do their employees (except maybe Susan).

Been a long time customer and used Russell Cellular to purchase all family phones (3) and iPads (3). Just upgraded iPad II and purchased a iPad Pro 12.9 from them. Asked the representative to see if they could look at my usage and check if I could get a better deal, more data for same or less cost. Was told that we could sign up for Verizon Do More Unlimited for a little less than our 4Gig plan. Told us that it wouldn’t start until after we picked up the new iPad and called and took the old iPad II off the plan. Fast forward, picked up iPad Pro, took iPad II off account, then got a bill for $140 more than normal. Went back to Russell Cellular to see what could be done to no avail. Kept telling me they couldn’t do anything to help or fix it. Finally, after they realized I was not leaving, they got a Verizon Rep (Lilly) on the phone for me who was very, very helpful. Indicated that this type of thing happens all the time with Russell Cellular. Looked at my account and said they should have never sold me a plan for unlimited based on my usage. She fixed my account and doubled my data to 8 Gig for the same price I had been paying. Bottom line, Russell Verizon has gotten the last dime from me. I’ll find another dealer who appreciates my business in the future. Thanks again Lilly on the phone at Verizon. You rock!

The workers at this store dont know anything about phones. Asked them specifics about certain phones and they couldnt get past the fact that the phone had 3 cameras. They were not able to give specifics on their capabilities or anything. When I asked the staff about a possible discount verizon had contacted me about in text about upgrading and saving a junior staff member asked a senior staff member because they were unsure about it. The senior staff member looked up from scrolling through social media and said seems legit and returned to social media. I clearly did not get the discount Verizon contacted me about. It took the staff 15 minutes to figure out I had already paid taxes on a phone I ordered a few days prior, after i showered them the exact charge their store charged me. The store staff made me uncomfortable and felt like they were more likely to sell me drugs rather than a phone. Overall it was a terrible experience and Id recommend anyone to go to a corporate verizon store rather than here.
