Only go here for an oil change. They will attempt to scam you with some of these prices for mechanical fix. However the job will get done they know what their doing. Still. Beware.

Another location called to see if they could do a oil change and check the brakes. I was told they could fit me in. Only to get there I was told. They couldnt get to it for 3-4 days later. I was very disappointed with the service. The employee acted as I was inconvenient him. I recommend you speak directly to someone at the location

Came to have my tire fixed and they wouldnt do it because they said they were worn. But they were quick to try and sell me a set of new tires. I left there and went to the dealer and they said there was still tread and had no problem fixing.

Left the house. Heard funny sound from front left tire. Stopped car and found screw. Drove 2 min to this Firestone on Dempster in Niles. Tire good again in less than an hour. :-D

I got scammed.I walked in with my 2017 civic hatch that is lowered. They said they can align in. I asked if I could buy the lifetime alignment. They said I could. So I got the lifetime alignment and got an alignment. I left the shop with a smile. This was late 2017.I went back recently to get aarealignment. They told me they cant align my car because its too low. I told them they have done it before but they insist on telling me they dont align lowered car.So basically I got scammed.And people with lowered cars. Dont come here. This place is for basic cars.

Just left. I have been going here for 5 years never had a problem. Today after I had called for a simple oil change they stated they could not do it AFTER they had my car for 45 min because they didnt have a tool to take out the filter. The manager left my car outside RUNNING while I waited in the lobby to find out what happened the manager Alex stated the car was outside and gave me no explanation to anything. I will be calling corporate because it sounds like they messed up and are trying to cover it up. Taking my car in to the dealership. Never coming here again.

Had low profile run flat tires dismounted and summer performance tires installed in late May (tires were purchased from Tire Rack). This Saturday, 5 months later, I started to replace them with winter wheels/tires. I could not remove the bolts with an impact wrench which should have easily been done if the bolts were properly torqued to 90 ft-lbs. I ended up using a 3 foot breaker bar and significant leverage to loosen all the bolts on all four wheels except one where the head rounded over. I broke several sockets. I tried a 17 mm bolt extractor but could not break this one free. On Sunday I took the car back to the store but was told that there were no technicians available but they open at 7 am Monday and could help then. When I said that the bolts were over-torqued the salesman interrupted me and said that they NEVER over-torque wheel bolts. When I came back on Monday morning I was told I needed to make an appointment for Tuesday. I took the car to an independent shop that afternoon and the technician was able to free the stuck bolt quickly. This Firestone store has does poor work and has horrible customer service

Took my car there to replace 4 tires. Was there 1st and by appointment on a Sunday 10am. Extremely slow service with barely barely walking ppl working there. Most workers dont do anything, just walk back and forth (slowly) doing nothing. In the end of this slow ordeal, all nuts overtorqued and each new tire inflated differently 22, 29, 39, 46psi. Not even sure if tires were installed properly based on overall experience.Unbelievable how bad this Firestone is. Stay away and save your time. I wont ever be back!

Incompetent tire techs installed tpms sensors incorrectly and left me stranded on the side of the highway having to pump air in my tires every 5 minutes. They also charged me for tire disposal fee when there were no tires being disposed of. I will never come back to this location under any circumstances despite its proximity to home and would highly advise avoiding this facility at all costs.

Great experience over and over again at my local Firestone. Danielle, Vino, Gunther are all great and easy to work with. Prices are fair and the services good and in time. I have a small shop on Lincolnwood IL and I get tires and alignment here several times a month. I always return because Im satisfied with price and service.

They make premium maintenance services affordable through rebates discounts and other promotions.Servicing six cars here for years, two my own. Pricing is competitive, many times a year you can buy premium tires at a discount. Hard to expect the same anywhere else, and I always shop around.

Job: Mounted and balanced tires purchases over the Internet. Service : great very nice and courageous . Front man, Kyle is very nice, professional and under promised and over delivered. Facilities : great waiting area, warm and clean. Price: better than other local shops. Another plus, is that you can make an appointment online, which is just quick! Overall the service was great and quick! Would highly recommend to give these guys your business. Newer shop with nice clean service bays!

Dangerously incompetent, drastically overfilled my tires causing one to go flat, RUDE, and overpriced. If you make the mistake of going here be sure to inspect their work before getting on the road cause it might not be safe.

Friendly service. My primary complaint was that I had an appointment for a tire change and brought my car in early in the day. I was told it would take a few hours; I called almost 8 hours later after no word back and was told they were finishing up. Wouldnt have been a big deal if theyd set expectations properly so I didnt waste my Saturday on standby to pick up my car.

Made an appointment online to change my wheels from my current tires which are a season old. Went in at my appointment time and they told me they dont do that here. What? Lol. They have been doing this for my car for the past 5 years and all of a sudden its not there policy. Pretty sure i spoke with the manager who refused to do the service. Recommended me a bunch of other competitors near.. The changeover is for OE wheels that are powder coated black, still refused. Looks like they will only do it if you purchase there tires. No thanks. 0 stars if I could. Edit: My mom was there earlier in the week and he tries to sell her over 1k worth of not needed maintenance that was done at the dealer a month ago. She wont be going back there anymore either.

For simple services like an oil change, this is probably fine. Avoid this place if you need actual work done on the car. This group replaced a timing belt on my Acura TL in August 2018 - a year later, my car made this very loud noise coming from the engine. I went to Firestone to diagnose the problem and they were unable to find the problem and told me to take it to Acura. The Acura dealership told me it was the timing belt (which is supposed to last 100,000 miles) - when I asked Firestone, they simply said the warranty is 1 year only. Acura however said the warranty is 3 years. You get what you pay for.

Fine service but always long wait times. I had made an appointment for 9:00, my car was in the bay at 9:15, work on my car started at 9:50 and completed at 11:30. This was only a tire change.

Used to be very good location couple years ago, ever since new people came service got worse then ever. Asked me to wait 20 minutes for air they know nobody is going wait 20 minutes just for air so it NO basically. I been getting my car service here since 2012 but looks like someone else is getting my business. Not going back again.

Look I don’t know anything about cars. I know they need tires and it’s bad when the tires go flat. That’s it. When I pulled into Firestone with a flat I just wanted prompt and friendly service that explained things clearly, and that’s exactly what I got! Would definitely recommend this location.

Anthony went the extra mile for me! Brought my vehicle in with a screw/ nail in the tire. Was expecting to be able to patch it but unfortunately no. Need a new tire. I happen to buy the insurance from the dealer so I just ask them to fill it up with air so I can drive it back home. On the phone with the dealer and service is closed so I have to call back tomorrow to make an appointment. Anthony overhears me and asks if he can see the insurance I purchased. He calls them up and verifies that he can do the work. I wont have to take a day off from work!

Got a flat tire as a result of a Chicago pothole encounter. Unfortunately the tire was unrepairable but Firestone was able to order the new tire and have it installed over my lunch hour. Friendly and helpful employees. Would recommend.

I try this place very good service you can trust them even if you dont have a cash they can put it on your credit card so you can pay monthly.

These people are crooks and no Idea on German Cars. Never take your BMW OR Mercedes there unless you want to spend a $3k afterwards. Long story short, They damaged my Front Axil while changing tire. These are a bunch of kids without much experinece working there. Beware and dont damage your German Cars..Stay away. You have been warned.

I went to this place for alignment, balance and rotation. They told me itll be ready in 2 hours. I get a call within 45 minutes to tell me that my car is ready and Im thinking wow these guys are fast. As I drove the car home I realize that my car still pulling to the left just like before. I got home and checked to see if they rotate and balance the tires and as I was expecting they didnt no balance no rotation! I put new rims with new tires 6 months ago so I know the difference between the front ones and the rear ones. I called them and talked to someone and told me oh were sorry bring it in and well take care of it and he hang up. Really? Thats it bring it back so Im thinking to myself self since they didnt do no balance neither rotation Im sure they didnt do the alignment either. I got charged $150 for busting one of my lug nut that they told me they found out that they couldnt tight.

Called to get price on mounting my tire to my replacement wheel since what I currently have has a bend. The man that answered the phone refused to do the service since it was not an oem wheel. I told him it was just not for my year but same specs and he said they still won’t do it because it was not purchased from them. Liars and lazy.

Meh. They were okay, but the man at the front desk was rather matter-a-fact and pretty rude. Then, after documenting which tire was being changed, a gentleman came in and asked again what he was supposed to be doing. Upon leaving, I asked for advice on my breaks and I was told that since I didnt purchase a car check-up (at whatever they call it at firestone) that they couldnt comment... Im not sure Ill come back here.

DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE.I made an appointment for an alignment at 10am and got there at 10am to be told they have no record of the appointment, okay fine! Mistakes happen. So we agreed it would be done by noon. I sat and waited, finally they racked up my car at 11:15am. At 11:30 the car was done. I instantly knew the infamous “toe and go” firestone stories were true now. The before and after alignment spec sheet showed the only thing adjusted on the car was the toe. And i asked about it and was told “the car needs a special Mercedes bolt to adjust the camber so they couldnt correct the camber”After telling them i have a problem with paying $170 for lifetime alignments, when i was actually going to get lifetime toe and goes, the guy responds with, “didnt the guy tell you that you were getting a toe and go?”Hah! Yeah, like Im dumb enough to pay $170 for lifetime toe adjustments that take 10 minutes.Next he told me there was a misunderstanding about the special bolt needed for the camber adjustments, and said “we have everything here to do alignments and adjust camber, but the bolt is because your frame is bent and it is used to straighten it out for us to do the camber adjusment”So not only was the story changed 3 times within 5 minutes, but they tried to feed me some bs about a straight frame being bent. They agreed to refund me most of the price less $24.99 for the “alignment inspection” which more than pays for the hack job they did on my car, and i felt wronged being charged that for having to sit almost 2 hours and wasting my time. Thanks for the “inspection” when i already knew i needed an alignment, thats why i was there. I cannot imagine how many people they have screwed over throughout the years, but nice job trying to pull one over on someone who knows more than you about mechanics, you unqualified scammers. From the bottom of my heart, i hope you guys go out of business so you cannot rip off any more less informed people on the daily basis.

This place is HORRIBLE. I purchased a set of 4 tire from them which includes life time tire rotation, 1st it was a drama to get the car in to do the rotation (maybe because it was for free) which really wasnt free because I had already paid for it. I drove the car afterwards my car was pulling to the right and the steering wheel is crooked. I still dont know what the problem is. I think these guys did something to my car so I would take it back and spend more money. DO NOT GO THERE

I was treated very unfairly by the new manager named Ron Upton. First off he was very unprofessional how he handled the situation. He had some nerves to tell me I can’t get my car aligned at this Firestone location because hes not honoring no customer alignment specs. Then what really blew me is when he said, “I’m the new manager (cocky voice) and the manager that was here before got fired”. Clearly he’s wrong cause I’ve been a customer for 10 years and have always had the alignment specs done at any location i go to no questions asked.Then I figured ok Im not gona argue with him just make sure my steering wheel is straight.Then he starts giving me this dumb look saying, “oh you been here plenty times” and literally starts making up excuses that my vehicle isn’t up to date with service records.Moral of the story is Ron Upton has no right what so ever to be working at any Firestone location. He’s a cocky, non professional, not likeable guy at all. Everything I said is 100% true.

Firestone always takes good care of my cars. The waiting room is very basic, with I think just coffee, a tv, some fairly comfortable seating and a very short kiddy table.Call me greedy but if Im spending $1000 on tires I would hope they could scrounge up some pastries or at least some hot chocolate when its cold out. I hate coffee.

I loved the service. First of all I drove all the way from Chicago to 7237 with Dempster only for the guy named Paul Zanotti. He is supberg. Very helpful guy. He not only have a very nice attitude but also he is a good sales person. All I can say I just came here coz of this guy. Other locations of Firestone have the terrible service, employees are super rude but not is this location.

This is the second time, got very bad service. Worst service, could ever get. First time while tire, the mechanics service is not as professionals, they forgot to tight the rear car, and within two min, i got a creeping sound and they fixed it. and then for oil change, i did a online reservation, and when i reach the place, they said the system error and. i would never recommend.

I gave everything a 1, except service because it was just whatever for a tire shop that just opened up. The service does suck a lot! I worked retail/sales and I know how upper bosses bite down on your neck if you dont meet quotas but theres no need to lie to a customer(s) to help you satisfy whoever thats in the chain of command. As I came for tire replacements there was a sign that said spend minimum 265 and take up to 6 months to pay back. $1O off all oil changes and 5% off any servce. Okay so I figured it was a charge (credit) card and I wasnt interested. As the sales man took my information down he asked me if I wanted to sign up for a rewards card. I said ok why not as long as its not charging me anything. He raised the same sign I read and said no sir its just a rewards program that will help you upon revisits to our shop even though I asked why it said on top of the flier take up to 6 months to pay back with minimum $265. He told me no thats for the credit card just ignore that part even though it was the whole flier!!As he proceeded to get my information down for the so called rewards program he asked for my social security......WOAHHH hold up RED FLAG why would u want my social security for a dam rewards card!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told him no thanks cancel all that and theres no need for you to have that info. A little later he tried again and I told him NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!After walking around different stores I returned to firestone to pay up. As I waited in line a man infront of me came to do some work also. I heard him go through the same thing as me and in my head I was like mannn I hope this guy is smart enough to realize that a social security is NEVER needed for a rewards card. The man agrees and when that question comes whats ur s.s. # sir? he replies why would you want that?!?!? (in my head I was like hahahahhah good thing u realized). The customer infront of me hated the question so much he decided to storm out of there without even giving them any business! As he left I am being rung up by a different employee. The man who I gave the sale to earlier (whom was also taking care of the man infront of me earlier) talks with his comrad about what went wrong and how today is a tough day on sales. The man who tried to sign me up for a credit card left the room and I ask another employee so why would you need social security # for a REWARDS CARD?!?!?!You know what he said......sir its not just a rewards card but a credit card as well. This made me furious so I told him in reply that his employee lied to me saying it was a rewards program. He said ohhhh well its a charge card that can only be used at fire stone -_- . Even if thats the case, or not because at this point I lost my trust with them you need to call it a credit card because it gives you CREDIT when your getting something as a LIABILITY....am I right or am I wrong?Look this business has been only in establishment for a month. They did tell me if I were to get a flat or ruin my tire they would replace it which is great but they lie like lawyers. Less than 3 weeks ago my breaks were changed at the car dealership and they kept saying that the breaks are really worn out!!! Some people are suckers but I am not. UNLESS THIS BUSINESS IMPROVES SERVICE I SAY JUST GO TO JUST TIRES IN MORTON GROVE. AAA+++ service !!!Mounted, balanced and installed my internet purchased tires and did my alignment at the same time on my Range Rover Supercharged ! Took them no time, a really clean install and they did a great job !Will be coming back for sure and referring my fiends to come here as well !!!!
