This Big Lots is great, I always forget about it for some reason. They have a good selection of furniture, Im always eyeing a mobile kitchen island they have. Cheap bird seed, $7 for a 20lb bag! Lots of other stuff is cheaper, too.Fun items you dont see everywhere else, like different As Seen On TV products, different health and beauty stuff.

Over all very bad experience...First the positive...Only positive is a big store with adequate parking and trolley station...NegativesNot every item was priced. Some of the items were not on the right spotsamd there were no prices on it.Short staff entire store had two male executives working on it.Staff not trained. Overall billing time was too high. So even there were 4 to 5 people in line u hv to wait for 20 min.Not trained staff on computer and on store policiesExecutive Brett did not know how to refund the item. He looked so tired and no smile on face at all. Looked like he has to work forcefully and not happily as customer bought more items.Jarrate knew how to refund but they hv to switch the registers or item should be brought to other register.JuHe did not asked for rewards card which most of the other store for. I hv to ask for it as I did my registration online.Overall very slow store operation and staff needs lot a lot of training. They should not on board executives before enough training.Not expected from a big chain like Big Lots...!!!Just an update again on my recent visit on 09/02/2021Cashier Linda was extremely helpful and was knowing what is she doing and what she is supposed to do.Another store person Angie did not know what she was doing. The item which i ordered and other items where there in the package which i was picking up. There were three extra items which i did not ordered and missing two items that i ordered. She did not felt like her store has done some thing wrong ... she did nt took it too seriously... and to much casual in her attitude towards this mistakes. I could see 0% customer service attitude and arrogance in her behavior.Hopefully management reads this and updates the executives who needs computer and customer service attitude training....!!!

I like snooping around there to check out the seasonal products being offered. I usually stock up on dressings and the jellies that some are different and unique. They have a lot of variety of household goods and special deals if you get the rewards card. Fun place to shop.

Not happy with my first n last visit at this Niles store location. Manager Angie was impatient & rude. If we didn’t find what I needed for my family at this store I would have just walked out leaving all behind. And even tho she was no help with me using my promo code Save20 that’s good tool April, I went ahead & got my items.In these hard times we are facing, I felt a right Mgr would of known how to handle this better.i completely understand maybe longer hrs or craziness in store but we all deals with the trying times to keep our jobs.we, consider myself luckily employees still they this.

Not all the deals here better than you can get in regular stores but it is one of the best places to find one-off flavors of things. Spotted today: Thai Peanut Coconut M&Ms and Cherry Nut M&Ms, interesting flavors of Pop-tarts also spotted. Pretty good deals on outdoor furniture and other household items. Some discontinued cosmetics can be had as well.

Clean and organized store. Employees generally helpful and friendly. I like to buy bags of wild bird seed here because its dollars less than the big home improvement stores price. The birds dont know the difference but my pocket book does. Furniture, housewares, garden, seasonal decor, stationary cards, food and energy drinks for much less.

I go there for almost all my shopping, I can find almost everything, the workers are very nice and go out of the way to help the customers.

The over all store is pretty big but the way the layout is makes some of the aisles very small so expanding them just a little would be nice. The visit was just to see what was there at that time and didnt leave empty handed. Love the store and all the possible finds

Always a pleasure to visit big lots. A good selection at reduced prices. The only thing that ALWAYS seems to be priced quite a bit high is the outdoor furniture. It doesnt EVER seem to be reasonably priced!!

Love the new location! More spacious, and the furniture section is well laid out and not crammed into a corner. Store plan is good, easy to find items, although I like to browse everything so I dont miss new items. Great selection of items and great prices!! Plenty of parking too! Check it out for yourself, and maybe youll find that one gem of an item like I did!! Actually, I have stumbled across a few items that I either get compliments on, or that have been really handy! 4 or 5 port usb charging stand. Go! Look! Oh, and can you bring back the wax warmers?

Good place to shop for deals and needed items. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful (especially ladies in furniture department and cashiers). Two specific stockers (male and female) are NOT very helpful or approachable when seeking assistance (tried a few times to make this comment) and the guy responsible for loading merchandise in cars is very rude. Otherwise, great store!

I visited Big Lots in their new location (an old Sport Mart) and it was so much nicer than the old location at the other end of this strip mall. I had stopped going to the old one because it was simply much too crowded and the lines were always long. I will visit this one more frequently for bargains. In particular, I like their housewares and garden supplies.

This New store is much more bigger and has more items. It has sofas, bed and mattresses. It also has a lot of grocery items such as chips, drinks, wine but no vegetables. It also has a small selection of carpets, rugs, photo frames and many more. The prices are really reasonable. I also found plenty of toys for kids. Really love this store

I liked the place they had a variety of different stuff at good prices and the store was clean and pretty well organized. I definitely would go back their again to do some more shopping.

Shop here about every month or so. Have discount vouchers very often and use them to same a good bit of money. Doesnt have everything you may be looking for, but there are a lot of good deals to be found especially in the food and home goods aisles. Always a bit disorganized though.

The new store is much larger. Very good deals on certain items: Energy drinks, video cables, the odd DVD, inexpensive snacks. Many household items. Plenty of parking. Store is clean and well lit. Excellent selection of snacks, sodas, detergents, etc.
