My experience with this company is 100% positive. My windows were installed this week and they are beautiful. All of the people I dealt with were great to work with. The product is excellent and the installment went very smoothly. The price was very reasonable. The installers kept disruption at my house to a minimum and cleaned up so well that you could never tell that a major job took place. The windows were ready and installed exactly when they were promised, which is very rare since the pandemic. I have already had a property owner in my neighborhood knock on my door to ask where I got the windows. Of course I told him, and anyone else, that they can deal with this company with complete confidence.

They were recommended by our friend, and they were absolutely fantastic. We initially needed a quote, and they went above and beyond to get it to us in a very short window. From there, the process was very straightforward, and they were very responsive and professional. On the day of, the installers were on time, and did amazing work. Scientific Home Services replaced four windows at the front of a house I recently moved into. Previously the windows were just sheets of glass that did not open. The replacements are not just beautiful but also fully functional. I liked the enthusiasm they had explaining why the windows were good. Also the installer did the most through, careful job installing. They look beautiful both inside and outside. Neighbors have already commented. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

A few of my 18 year old custom wood Marvin windows would not stay up and needed repair. Victor and his helper came out, explained what needed to be done, and ordered the needed parts. He was cheaper than the competition. They came back 5 weeks later to fix the windows and gave me tips on how to maintain the window mechanism with silicone spray. He was quick and professional and personable. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

This company truly did an outstanding job. They came and measured the glass, or exact when they said it would be in, they came out and fix the window so they look like new. They showed me where Windows can break and why and you can tell these gentlemen do their business inside out.The windows look great, the price was very reasonable, and when the job was finished there was no mess nothing was left and it looked just perfect.We found these guys based on reviews, they were far above other companies doing the same work. Scientific Home Services did an excellent job replacing more than a dozen windows in our 100+-year-old house. We were worried that the vinyl windows wouldnt have the charm and heft of the old original wood windows, but the new windows look great. And we were able to customize them with grilles in the exact style of the original windows. The companys sales representative, Jon, was knowledgeable and low-pressure. He put together a proposal with several options at different price levels. The installation of the window was fast and professional--done by two certified installers, Damian and Yuri. Their work was meticulous, and the clean-up thorough. Overall, we would highly recommend this company for premier replacement windows.Update. September 2021. Based on our previous experience with this company, we hired them again to install nine more replacement windows. Again, the process was smooth--no hassles or complications at all. The installation was completely professional. Jay and Ephraim were fast, courteous, and clean. We dont have any more windows to replace. If we did, we would not hesitate to use Scientific again. I needed to replace all of the vinyl windows in my 2500 square foot two-story house (15 openings, I believe). I researched window companies that served my area based on reviews and came up with a list of five organizations. I then requested estimates from the top two on my list. Scientific Home Services was one of those I called. While you wont see any advertisements for Scientific Home Services, their reviews put them at the top of my list.Based on the estimates I received, an examination of the windows being offered and their specifications, and the warranties being offered, it was clear that Scientific Home Services offered the best value for me. I got premium double-hung vinyl windows (Climate Solutions 8000 Series) with LoE-366 glass, argon fill, and a transferable lifetime warranty for only a few hundred dollars more (in total) than the other organizations basic window.Scientific Home Services crew installed all of the new windows in a matter of two days. The crew was organized and worked well together. They seemed to enjoy their work. When I pointed-out that a few of the windows appeared to be binding, or when they ran across other problems during installation, they knew what to do and properly addressed the situations.Im very pleased with the new windows and their appearance, the service I have received, and how much better insulated my house now is. We replaced all the windows on our first and second floors with Climate Solutions vinyl windows. The old windows were original construction (70 years old) single-pane windows so our house was drafty even during mild winters. The difference after installation was night and day: cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and our utilities bills decreased.Everyone at Scientific Home was extremely professional. They were honest during our initial consultation and reliable when it came time to install. We were especially concerned about lead exposure, but they couldnt have been more careful about covering our furniture and cleaning when they were done. Around 9 months later the caulk seal around some of the windows had shrunk and began letting in cool air, but Victor offered to come out same day to fix it at no charge.Pricing was fair and competitive. Almost a year later, were 100% satisfied with the windows and service provided by SH and Ill continue recommending them to everyone I can.

Victor repaired a window that another, inexperienced contractor told me had to be replaced. For 10% of the price quoted and done the same day instead of a three month wait, I couldn’t be more thrilled with my experience with Scientific. The window repairmen showed up on time and were courteous and well prepared and got the job done within a half hour. I highly recommend them should anyone need repair service.

We had 11 new windows installed in august of 2017 by Scientific home services. 5 of those had to be replaced again. Weve had them out 6 times now to try and correct the bad install, we paid them $9000 and they still have yet to finish properly installing the windows. Cracked caulk, cracked vinyl. I guess if they do a good job people are happy, when they do a bad job they leave the customers out to dry. Beware.

Scientific are very knowledgeable about their product which we loved! They were able to answer all the questions we had about quality and specifications of window. We purchased this new condo from the previous owners who noted the windows being only 4 years old. With the recent cold weather- we noted cracking in the caulking around the windows leading to air leaks and ice in our home. Preparing my house to sell and needed work on several windows. Two large windows did not open and close and I was sure they would need to be replaced, but Victor was able to repair them and get them working again. The original estimate and on-site measurements were done quickly and accurately. Our windows (six basement, one bathroom, one garage) were installed in April 2018. The installers took great care in protecting indoor and outdoor areas and cleaning up afterward. So far, the performance and appearance of the windows has been excellent. He definitely knows what he is doing and knows his products, so when I thought we had an issue on one do the windows he came all the way back to Palisades and took him less than 5 min to fix the issue.Couldnt recommend him and fusion more. Hi,I called Victor today about our windows which werent closing properly (vinyl casement windows). We are facing huge humidity/moisture issues on our 2nd floor and are worried that this is causing mold/humidity. When I called him, he spent significant time on the phone undertsanding the problem and giving me advice about how to approach the window manufacturer as they were being unfair and only giving me a 1-year warrantee since they were installed in 2012. After talking for awhile, he said he would still be willing to come out to assess even though he wasnt sure if it was a service their company would provide, but it wouldnt be for 2 weeks out as hes slammed. Then -- to my surprise -- he said, nevermind, Ill squeeze you in and he showed up within 25 minutes with another guy (Enrique, a very nice gentleman) ! I am so touched that despite his crazy schedule he had empathy for me and came on a late Friday afternoon despite having another appointments after. He assessed 1 window and then before I knew it, without a word, he was hanging outside our 2nd story window (with his colleague supporting him) fixing it! He then proceeded to start fixing the 2nd one and then I just asked him if he could fix all 7 and he did! Turns out that yes, the original installer did NOT do a good job -- but Victor was able to adjust things, lubricate things, even open a cap to release 7 years of water build up (come on, installer!!!?) and basically fix all 7 in just 1 hour which means we dont have to replace the windows which we were afraid to do. He just charged me the normal service fee which I found was very fair.I was super surprised by how responsive and helpful he was on such short notice and will definitely use him again for any window issues and recommend to all my friends. Our experience with this company was excellent. They gave us a thorough estimate and answered our questions. Though they didnt provide the lowest estimate to replace our patio door, they provided the most professional one. By the time the door arrived and the work was scheduled, November had arrived. It was a very cold and windy day but they got the work done quickly and completely. We were very pleased with their attention to detail in all the exterior caulking and finishing. The interior required additional wood trim and that was provided and expertly finished. Everything was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend their work.

I met with Jon from Scientific Home Services in early August. I was looking to purchase new windows for my condo. He explained everything about the type of windows I needed and all the questions I had were explained in the presentation. I was impressed with Jons presentation. I was a little worried about the price but once he told me what it would cost I was relieved. Others in my condo building also purchased their windows from Scientific Home Services and were very pleased. I also had a good experience with the installation manager and team. My condo is now well insulated. I will recommend them to anyone.

Scientific Home Services has replaced all the windows in my house over the last few years. The windows are terrific and the installation has been painless and has been of very high quality. I only wish I had more windows because I love dealing with Jon and his crew.
