I had an appointment today and Bailey was the nice lady who helped me. She was kind spoken and very personable. Bailey made the experience of insurance cards not cooperating and phone calls to my parents painless! She made this last visit the best experience and customer service I have ever had at LensCrafters!!! She never let it show if I was annoying her or giving her any trouble even after the fact I had been there 2 hours! Again, thank you so much Bailey for your time and aid in my visit today!

I have been a customer with Lens Crafters for over 15 years. I had been having a good experience with them until I came across this store. I ordered several pairs of glasses here. When the glasses arrived they did not take time to adjust them without me requesting them to do so.They were inexperienced, and scratched the frame on a pair while attempting to adjust them. They said they would reorder the glasses free of charge. The second pair of glasses I ordered broke within two days. The full lense fell out. They refused to replace the glasses and were very rude about it. I will not recommend getting any products from this Lens Crafters!

I have been a customer of Lens Crafters for many years. I’ve always had a great experience until my last visit. My glasses came in twice with incorrect lenses. I paid for another exam and the script was adjusted. When I went in to try on the third attempt, I removed my old glasses, placed the new glasses onto my face that immediately fogged up because of my mask. I instinctively pulled my mask down and Jaylynn immediately asked me to pull it up. I was standing at the counter, so that was a fair request. I replaced my mask and walked to a different area. There was NOBODY else in the store except for a couple sitting by the front door. I was clearly 15-20 feet away from anyone. I slipped the glasses on which, again, immediately fogged up. Being so far away from everyone with my back to them as well, I pulled my mask down in an effort to actually see! Jaylynn immediately advised me to pull my mask up. She is nothing more than a young sorority girl that has just a bit of power that she obviously abuses; she is incapable of exercising any judgement AT ALL. I was absolutely NO threat to anyone, and I still wonder how anyone can check the quality of their lenses in that place when Jaylynn is still the deputy sheriff. I still struggle to see out of my old (2018) glasses, and can’t get my insurance straightened out. BTW... working in the medical field, I was completely vaccinated when Jaylynn banished me from LensCrafters.

Just had a horrible experience with a very rude manager here. Our family has gone here for years and we have truly loved going to Dr. Walden. She is the best! The wrong contacts were ordered(a weird pale blue color...their mistake). First, I was told that this was the only blue that this brand of contacts came in( which is not true and were not what was supposed to be ordered) and then the manager very rudely pointed to the package and said that I should have looked at the color before opening it). Then, because the box had been opened and were now expired, the manager refused to exchange them. Said she would give us $50 off after I had a new eye exam. Now I am left with no contacts. Horrible PR for this company. Even if this is the companys policy, my husband and I were treated very rudely. We have spent thousands of dollars here over the years. We will not be back.

My husband and I entered Noblesville Lenscrafters location at 5:35 pm October 31 and were not welcomed or greeted. Sales clerks stared at us like we were an unknown species and only after my husband first said hello, asked if she could help us. Like she could not imagine why we entered her store.. We advised that we were looking at frames and asked if that was okay. She made a verbal gesture such as I dont know. I proceeded to asked, whats the problem? I stated we were not greeted and it was unclear if we were being accepted or rejected by their store. The sales girl said, they would be closing in 15 minutes. In essence, they did not want service us. They were finished working for the day when the store had greater than 15 minutes open time. We left and traveled to Lenscrafters Castleton even though the Noblesville location is within walking distance to our home. Poor customer service. We had no idea there closing time was 1 hour before Castleton location. All the store staff had to communicate and do...1. Hello, welcome, hi any would have suffice2. How can we help you today?3. We will be closing soon, but please look around4. Let us know if you need assistance5. Well open tomorrow at....6. Or, hours tomorrow are7. If you see a frame, we can continue on tomorrow...8. My husband swears by this location, says he wouldnt dare go anywhere else. I agree with him...I made the poor decision to ignore his recommendation and try another lenscrafters with hours that worked better for me. The outcome was horrible. I was actually given sunglasses that (per this store) shouldnt have passed inspection.Long story short, I went here to get them fixed and was blown away by the customer service. Super nice, friendly and low stress. I HIGHLY recommend this location. They definitely take care of you, answer every possible question and are patient.4 stars because they have an 8 person limit with COVID, but no sign on the door to let customers know before entering.

I wished I would have seen the reviews before I even came here. I had an appointment and as soon as I came in the door there were multiple people waiting for help. One of the workers asked the supervisor to help out on the floor and the supervisor stated “ I am working on something critical that needed to be done but I guess.” (Not sure what could be so critical at an eye place) but by the time the supervisor helped us she had me fill out paperwork and wait. She never came back for my paperwork another worker noticed that I was still waiting. I waiting for almost an Hour before my exam. Never again!!! Please go elsewhere.p.s I also witnessed a customers threatened to make a complaint towards the company. YIKES!! 🤭

The technicians at Lenscrafters in Saxony are very well qualified to provide you with the care you need in selecting your eyeglasses (or contacts) after seeing Dr. Amy Walden and her associates. When your prescription is too strong for certain types of lenses they have alternative suggestions for you. I could not get Ray Ban lenses for certain Ray Ban frames and the technician made options available to me for my sunglasses. They will work with you if you want to keep your current frame and run price comparisons if you choose only lenses or an entirely new set of frame and lenses. I have been a client of Lenscrafters for many years and it has yet to let me down. Prices are competitive with others and there selection of eyewear is extensive. I recommend Lenscrafters for your eyewear needs.

I called in the morning to see if Lens Crafters could fit me in at this location. They said to come in at 3 and they would fit me in. I drove 50min to this store and arrived 5 min early. The lady who helped me was very snobby and treated me less than human making me feel unwelcome. She stated she might be able to fit me in then asked if I was paying cash or insurance. I told her I have insurance and that really changed her expression from better than me to mad at me. She acted like she did not have time or want to mess with insurance paperwork so ultimately told me I wasn’t covered and show yourself the door. That was an unpleasant experience givin I just made arrangements to drive an hr there and now I have to drive an hr back home with no progress. I called my insurance carrier and they informed me my insurance does apply at lens crafters. 🤔 Very disappointing and highly recommend you seek better treatment than this establishment

Great place for an eye exam but that is it. Avoid all of their other services. Lenses scratch easily, nose pieces fall off, bifocal lines were not positioned correctly, and the frame broke within months. First time in forty years of wearing glasses that any of these things have happened due to normal use. Dont purchase the warranties just go to Costco or an independent facility.

So, I will start from the beginning. I made an appointment with Lenscrafters of Noblesville and I had discussed with someone who worked there, that in fact, VSP insurance was taken. So I make the half hour drive here, passing several closer doctors, hoping to get great care. I arrive, fill out paperwork, everything seems to be going ok. I get done with my exam and pay, VSP was covered, however, looking into it now, my copays were a lot higher than other places. I brush it off. I grab my glasses and I talk with someone about contacts. Then one of the employees tells me that they do not take VSP, so Id have to pay out of pocket and try to send it in to be reimbursed. I am furious at this point. Not a thing was said when I made the appointment and nothing said when I checked in. I spoke with a manager over the phone after I left and was told she would talk with her employees. Great, make sure no one is screwed over again, but no help or compensation was promised. I made the long drive, paid more than the other places (and was told by the manager I would not have, but my insurance company paper says otherwise), and Im JUST NOW being told that I cant even get glasses with my insurance? So now I have to take my prescription and wait even longer for glasses and contacts because it will be hard with my work schedule to get into anywhere any time soon. Plus the hassle of going somewhere else and essentially wasting so much time at Lenscrafters. Im annoyed at the ignorance presented by the employees. Even if I get a different insurance in the future, I will not be back.

The staff here were not accommodating. I stopped in to get my lenses replaced with blue light reflective lenses since I got Lasik last year. They didn’t seem to care that I was there. They sat me down and told me it would be a few minutes and then proceeded to help 4-5 other people who came in after me. Additionally I could hear them talking about me and how I thought I could get my lenses filled using my insurance but that I couldn’t. They never came to discuss this with me and just left me there to sit all day. Little did they know I had already done my research and had a doctors prescription therefore my insurance would cover it. They would have known if they would have actually talked to me instead of just shoving me in a corner. I will never go back to this location.

I had problems with my insurance company whom had not loaded anyone from a major employer in town into their database for the new year. The staff was terribly dismissive. I could not have a straight conversation with anyone about the complicated situation. When we were able to get an update from our benefits department and an ID number from the vision insurance company - still within my appointment time frame - the staff werent sure they could see me, then told me they couldnt use the ID number because I didnt have a different piece of information no one had asked for up to that point. Seriously unprofessional. Im very disappointed.

The MANDATORY etchings IN the progressive lenses caused me to have a brain-eye reaction. I ended up in hospital. EKG + cat scan + $55 at Lenscrafters for Lenscrafter doctor to say compound headache and eyes must have changed (straining for months?). I paid +$1000.00 based on the fitters reassurance that the etchings wouldnt strain, wear or confuse my eyes/brain. I asked Trisha if Lenscrafter will stand by their product and fix my +$1,000.00 glasses. She said they wont do anything because the problem happened past 30 days.

What a horrible experience. My six year old had an eye exam scheduled at 10:00am, we arrived at 9:50am as usual being early for a doctors appointment, well lens Crafters does not open until 10:00am. Obviously the door was locked, through lady at the front desk looked at us twice and did not let us in. At 10:00am they open the door and I asked of my appointment is at 10:00 am why are not allowing me to come a bit early, and thr lady from the front desk was rude and said they could not let me in because it was a Medical liability.... Then suggested I reschedule my appointment. Like I am in the wrong. We ended up leaving and going to another place with a much better rating. This place has a lot to learn about customer service, and I am not surprised it has a 2.7 start review. I will not recommend or ever go back.

I have never had an issue with Lenscrafters until now. I came into Lenscrafters with my prescription about 2-3 months ago. I have an eye condition so I normally go through several prescriptions before the right one is found.I got my glasses made and the frames were too heavy. I have a very high prescription. So I exchanged them for a lighter pair. I was told that I have 30 days to switch to a new frame if needed and 30 days to switch to a new prescription. I was never told that there was a 30 day policy that you cant return the glasses.I came in and the second pair of glasses I couldnt see well out of them so I figured there was something wrong with the lenses or the focal point was off so they measured it and said it was not wrong. They then told me to come back in a few days if I still wasnt seeing well. I saw perfectly well with the first frame.I called back in a few days later and was told that I was past the 30 day time span since they were counting down from the date I got my first pair of glasses.. they said if needed new lenses I would have to pay an additional 350 dollars for the lenses and that I could no longer return my glasses frames.I was never told this by anyone in the store. Just the fact that you have to wait 30 days in order to exchange glasses. Now I am stuck with glasses that were obviously made incorrectly and I cant see well out of them. I have trouble seeing street signs. I even went online to file a complaint on lenscrafters website and I never received a call back like they said they would. I have never had this issue in Walmart or any other place while getting glasses. People who have eye conditions need flexibility and even for people without eye conditions this is still beyond ridiculous! This is a SCAM and bad business practice! You just lost a customer!

My family and I have been coming here for a few years. Each year we come and get our exams and new frames and lenses. Three years ago it cost $20 per person. Last year it cost $40 per person. This year it cost $115 per person. I have eye insurance that is owned by luxotica the company that owns most of the brand name eye glass stores in the united States. So I would of thought that my cost would be better but it seems that every year my out of pocket doubles or more. So I am done with dealing with luxotica sites and will be taking my business and letting everyone I know about the insane inflation of prices.

Review №60

I found this place about as honest as a used car lot. The tactics they used to increase their add-on sales were shameful in my opinion. We had vision insurance that covers moderately priced frames and the exam. We left the place shelling out $175 out of pocket! First was the upcharge for the retina exam that uses a technology that doesnt require getting drops. I warned my son (college age, I was with him) that they would try to get him to do this and that it was not necessary. Low and behold, he came out of the exam room stating that they had given him the more expensive procedure. When I asked the person taking our payment how this had happened, letting her know that we were never asked, she stated that everyone gets it, if not wed have to dilate your eyes. I said we would have been fine with that, but were never given the option. She said Well, you signed for it here, She pointed to a place on the personal information sheet that my son had to fill out. There was a paragraph about it and you had to Opt out of the procedure. At no time did any associate or doctor tell us that we might want to read that carefully, because it will result in a higher charge and your insurance will not cover it. They just knew, that like us, everyone just signs what they are handed at the doctors office. They just assumed we wanted this type of coating and that type of poly-carbonate lens. Never did anyone start at the basic price and then let us know what the add-ons would cost. A smooth talking woman kept coming by where we were meeting with another associate and looked at my sons old glasses and told the associate what to add on our lenses. She actually tried this: Do you want the premium low glare lenses? They cost more and wont be here for weeks. Or, do you want the regular low glare lenses that we can have here tomorrow. Of course my son says, The regular ones And there she had done it. Gave only the choice for the up charge or the super-duper up charge, My son didnt need, nor did I want to pay for low-glare lenses, but since she had pulled that well-rehearsed maneuver, I could not then inform my son that dad was not going to pay for the low-glare frames. The smooth talking woman who was there to make sure we paid more, left the poor associate helping us sitting there not knowing what to do. Three times we were asked if we were using insurance and three times we told them yes and the name. Here is another nice used car gimmick. They took our payment for the exam first, (Remember the exam should have been free) Then they accepted payment for the glasses a few minutes later. I immediately assumed that they did this to lessen the blow of not seeing both charges at once. I guess it is possible that they needed to do this for some other reason, though. So, to recap, we did choose very moderately priced frames and left paying $175 out of pocket. This place just found a way to get paid on top of what the insurance covers. I have no problem with them offering other services. I do have a problem with them sneaking the charges in here and there, never letting anyone know what the charges are until you are blind-sided with the final bill.
