Where do I start?? I think Ive been so scared by that awful monopoly which is Hennessy JLR that I dread taking my car in for anything. I thought Id give THE SHOP a try since theyre close and had great reviews. First making an appointment online was super easy. My requested slot was booked, I received an email with some other options, clicked a different date a day or two later and done - a breeze. Bright and early I was greeted by Trish who was super friendly (way more than me at 9AM on a Monday!) which was such a nice and welcome surprise. I brought my L405 Range Rover to THE SHOP for what I thought would be a brake pad replacement since mine were squeaking obnoxiously. Here is where THE SHOP totally earned my loyalty. Trish calls me up and says that my brakes still have plenty of life and no need to replace them, but if I want theyll give it an inspection to see what they can come up with. They found quite a few things wrong, some of which I supposedly paid Hennessy ~$1500 to do about a month ago. Why is this shocking?? Well my car is still under factory warranty and all the work they recommend should be covered under factory warranty which they (unfortunately) cant do. They wrote it up and gave me documentation of what was wrong so I can bring that along with me when I schedule my warranty repairs. I will definitely be doing any out of pocket maintenance here going forward and now that Ive found a great shop it might entice me to finally get that Classic SWB RR Ive wanted since I was a kid! All of this was a really long way of saying just bring your damn rover to THE SHOP.

I had used this shop a few times. One time I spent $2500 on some repairs, trans fluid change, belts, valve cover gasket.. I had a trans fluid leak weeks after, the management change when I came back my warranty claim, they fixed the problem. Dec 2020, i decided to try them again and hope everything goes well this time, I paid 1200 for my cats to be replaced. Once I left, check engine light turned on, I cleared it, turned back in, I had a leak that was not there before I took it to the shop. I fixed the leak, called the shop about taking my vehicle back up there so they can fix the problem the correct way, the receptionist had a very bad attitude with me, so after 24 hrs I finally got them to give me an appointment to bring my rover back up there, I decided to take the lost with the repair because I prefer to have a good honest shop do the work on my rover. I would not recommend.
Such a wonderful place to take you Rover .Update 10/2020Went in for the last service that was needed. Transmission updates and service. They did what they said they were going to do. Since then I have been reading through the reviews on Google. I know that there is always 2 sides to every story. Land Rover vehicles are temperamental and are very specific in what they need to work correctly. Little things can cause other things to not appear until you start fixing the smaller issues. Sometimes the bigger problems do not materialize until later. That being said, The Shop has treated me fairly on every deal I have made with them. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and take time to listen to my issues with my current Rover. I will continue to use them because of these reasons and recommend them to anyone with a Rover. While my current Rover still has some issues that need to be addressed in the future, they are cosmetic in nature or not major mechanical. We will have them correct them in the future.

I called The Shop and spoke with Trish and made an appointment to have my ABS light looked at on my used Range Rover HSE. I was trying to be sure the garage could service my vehicle and asked when would be the best time to drop off. Trying to work with their schedule to avoid my car sitting for two + weeks. After being told my car needed additional work (2 days later), and before they could even look at the abs light (battery replaced, water leak, replacement of expansion tank, etc $1,300 later). I was then told it needed a new ABS module and it needed to be ordered and they would call once received and they were sure this was the problem. Two weeks later, multiple calls, rental car, the part had obviously not been ordered or put on truck and ABS light was still on. I had to call every time I wanted to check in on my car. I was trying to be patient and after waiting 2-3 days I would call and was told they are trying to get to my car. I was then told by Luke (manager) that they didnt have time to give me updates on my car. I told him this wasnt acceptable customer service and he told me I could come get my vehicle. He hung up on me. HORRIBLY RUDE EXPERIENCE!! I should have taken it to a proper shop and had the car diagnosed correctly. I highly recommend NOT using The Shop. Jeff Tubo

Went in for a oil change & check up and as usual Superb work.
I have been using John and Trish and The Shop for several years, but they outdid themselves this trip. I was about to go out of town on business and went to pop the hood to check the oil. The Hood cable was busted up under the hood!?!? No great way to get it open so I called The Shop about 7:30AM and 4 hours later I was driving out with a new hood cable installed. They were great to get me in and get the cable swapped out. I will continue to use them and recommend them to my RR Friends!

Ive owned a P38 Range Rover for a number of years and can always rely on the service team at The Shop to give me accurate assessments and recommendations. Its not going to be the least expensive shop in town but if you want the specialists for your Land Rover or Range Rover and dealer quality work, thats what youll find at this shop. Ill continue bringing my RR there as long as its got life left in it.
The Shop is the worst car service that we have ever experienced. We took our 2011 Range Rover Sport to first get it “diagnosed” it for $125. They determined that it needed a new timing chain. We were told that by the previous repair place. We made an appointment to bring it in and at that time we gave them a deposit of $3500. They told us 2-3 days. Almost 2 weeks later, they finally had it finished, another $5300 NOT finished. We had ask them to also change the oil, they did not. Headed downtown for the weekend, the check engine light comes on and its running like it wants to quit at anytime. Yep, take it back to The Shop, fuel injectors were bad. Another $1000. Get it home and crank it up and there is a knocking noise around the fan. Yep, take it back down to the shop. Another $800. Keep in mind that we never ever had an issue with this car until they touched it. Still not running smoothly as it was before we took it to the shop.
Luke and crew have done a great job on my land rovers for many years. Their integrity and expertise, coupled with fair prices, is what keeps me as a loyal customer. Jon and Trish are always a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

This is my preferred body shop for my Range Rover. John (and staff) are always very friendly and nice. They always call you and explain everything that you need to repair, what can be postponed or not, etc. Great communication. Great job.Prices are not much different from a dealership therefore is not cheap, but I do prefer to give my money to small businesses than big dealerships. In seven years my RR has never been serviced at a dealership (and never will).I keep coming back because of the People at The Shop and obviously the quality of their work.

You are probably like me: you love Land Rovers but dont love the service and support from Land Rover NA.Friendly and flexible, they really know their stuff and how to take care of customers. One of the best service experiences of any kind for me on more than one occasion. They are rock stars in my book.Just be patient as they are, not surprisingly, always quite busy.

I have had work to my 2003 Disco done by The Shop in the past so when looking at a newer Range Rover for the wife, they were the perfect choice for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. Got me in and out in just over an hour and went over the car with a fine-toothed comb. Great folks to deal with. They get all my Rover business.
Had a great Call initially, brought the car in for a head gasket test.The next day get a call that the chemical test was negative but there are other issues that would cost over $4k... I then picked up the car not opting to have any work done, because i can do most of the work myself but not a head gasket and was billed for an extra hour of shop time to diagnose all the Other issues which i never asked them to look into for me. i will say they are throw and they seem to be experienced.
I needed a suspension lift installed. My factory suspension was toast. Luke asked me all the right questions about how I intend to use the truck and made a great recommendation on which kit to use. It arrived on time, the repair took place on time, and they even finished it up early! They also were nice enough to deliver the truck to the local tire shop for me! I couldnt be more satisfied.Ill continue to use them as long as I own a Land Rover.
WOWSERS and YOINKS... The Shop is top notch. Jon and Trish are amazing and outstanding. When it was time for my rig to get serviced, I would drive from Ohio to GA for the Shop to work on it. I have recently moved out of the country; I miss the team at the Shop. Wish I didnt have to give them this one star, unfortunately you cant post without a least one. This is the worst repair shop in Norcross, GA. After spending over $2500.00+ on repairs for my Jaguar XJ my car literally died in the road after less than 1 hour of driving it.John the operations manager is a true character. He and Trish have ZERO customer service skills. They are absolutely horrible and will lie to your face when you ask tough questions. I ask to speak with the owner Luke after dealing with his minion John for days. Guess what, John wasnt able to get a hold of Luke. How convenient for John after his big screw up with my car they he failed to mention to me for 3 whole days. Not once did John feel like he did anything wrong. His excuse was he was afraid of how I was going to react! Are you kidding me!!!Please dont waste your money here with Jaguar repairs. These guys are totally incompetent especially when it comes to working on Jaguar XJs. They are the top of the food chain WORST! For them, a diagnostic test is a guessing game at the customers expense. PLEASE AVOID The Shop in Norcross. I could go on and on about how bad this place is but I think everyone can get the picture. Scamming people at their best with high dollar repairs that will leave you stranded in the middle of the road. HORRIBLE!!!
Funny story here, I put my fathers 2005 land rover lr3 on facebook market place to sell that had a few problems that we were tired of dealing with and just decided to let it go. A fella by the name of Luke came to look at it, come to find out he was the owner of The Shop. Very friendly guy and EXTREMELY knowledgable. Luke said he wanted to come check it out but did not ask me any questions about the car, thought it was a little strange. Sure enough we met up to seal the deal in dallas ga and he didnt ask any questions he just inspected the car and knew exactly what was wrong with it. Very Very Very impressed that he knew so much about these cars and that he was able to find everything wrong with it in about 10 minutes. Never seen something like this before. That just goes to show that he is so knowledgable about these mobiles and knew exactly what he was doing. I was so impressed i felt that i ought to leave him a review. Again, very nice funny guy, made me an offer and he left with a new project and i got a stack of cash. Much respect for honest knowledgable mechanics as they are hard to come across nowadays. After owning Land Rovers since 2010 I only regret I didnt know about this shop sooner! In my experience with this shop I found out that the staff here is VERY courteous. They even stayed open later just so I can pick up my truck (HSE). The techs were very knowledgeable and tedious in their tesing. I could tell they actually have a passion for what they do - especially Land Rovers! The best part - You get all this for a fraction of the dealership cost! I highly recommend you take your truck here first! You will see for yourself...
John takes care of you at the Shop. When there was an oversight and work took longer than first assessed, they rented a car for me for the extra day. They always take care of you and your car, doing the work correctly the first time.
I have to agree with Mr. Segler, though they did address the current issues with my minis BMW specific service lights, they failed to inform me of other issues which could easily cause over heating and potential blown head gasket. John and his group get a failing grade for not informing me of the issues with the friction wheel. Though The Shop is close to my home, I will happily pass it on my way to a different mini repair facility.
Great shop. My only regret is not finding The Shop sooner. Btw, they also do great work on non Range Rovers when they can.
Felt like I was mislead with the service they did and was not informed fully on everything that my vehicle needed. I looked to them for advice and didnt feel like I was given the best service possible. Then when I took my from them to another Land Rover service shop the owner or manager called me and became very hostile towards me.Would NOT recommend.

It was my first time to have service done on my range rover in this shop mr . john was was really deatialied in explaining to me what was going on with the rover and whats was needed to be done as of now i had a ignition problem that was going on for like two years and until now i had this fix it was littuel to expensive but i am happy that i had that fix thank you THE SHOP

I had concerns about my vehicle which I spent great money to get fix and when I spoke to the manager John he was very rude sarcastic they lost my key to my vehicle blame it on the tow driver and also my vehicle was infested with ants once being return when I try to speak on my concerns they were very rude I will never deal with them again or refer to anyone don’t go.
