Im not even sure who braided my hair. When I went in there? The lady who did my hair aint even speak, my first red flag.... The whole time Im like, this is what I want.... She did the whole, entire opposite of what I wanted. This was probably the worst experience I ever had; I get straight back cornrows, simple.... Im conversing like, hey... Aint I the customer tho? Aint I paying for what I want? That shyt went rite out the other ear. She aint even look, whilst braiding. She didnt know the difference between, braiding under? And or, over? Alls I can say? She did the WHOLE opposite, of what I was tryna get done. My poor hairline, plus my shyts curl inward, the braids aint even, even, one side looks good, the other half, all spacey 🤦🏾‍♂️.. Got me looking real dumb out here. Im straight, theyll never see me again. Smh.

Unprofessional to the max. Children running up and down with no control. A 45 minute conrow hair style took 1 1/2 instead. It does not look professionally done at all. The parts are crooked and the style look NOTHING like the inspirational pic. This was my 1st time going and will definitely be my last.

Only giving this shop a 3 star because I liked my braids after making sure it was how I wanted! I do not remember the name of the women who braided my hair but she did good which is the only reason why im giving 3 stars. They charged me full price even though I brought my own hair (I didnt know they provided hair) kids were not controlled, it was dim, and a bit hot. Braiding hair is more than just doing cornrows ! You have to have a skill. I watched a few clients in and out as I was getting my hair braided and my exact thoughts were (im so glad shes not braiding my hair) .

Over price, don’t get your hair shampoo there . Frizzy braids .will not be going back to this place period…..

Not happy at all first the style I wanted was on the website for 90$ I was charged 120$ then upon taken them out after two weeks usually the faux locs are knotted..she knotted my hair. I litterall had to cut my hair in a fade after naturally growing my hair for 3 years. Than she tells me to go pay someone to take it down..so I paid 120$ to go bald not to mention her kids was in the shop uncontrollable one of them in the stool behind me with her feet propped up on my back watching her phone and her other child playing with my hair and crochet needle.im trying to post pics but dont know how..ok so in response to your post a pic is worth a thousand words..it clearly says individuals on ur website $90 and I was ok with the style wasnt worth 120 but I know nothing about ga but the complaint is that upon taking them out u tied my hair in knots and not the hair ..im glad u find it funny..I should have read all these bad reviews they had on u first..lesson learned.and I did not call u at 10pm to get my hair done I called u on a Sunday because I saw u were open..funny u erased the pics

Just had an awesome experience here. Came in right after I got off of work at 5, after calling to make sure someone would be able to take care of me. Janel started on my hair less than 10 minutes after my arrival. She was very kind, her prices were affordable, and she went the extra mile (gel with permission, hair dryer to make it lay down, smoothed edges, cut frizz, etc) to make sure my hair looked its best. She was considerate of my time, very polite and knowledgeable, and I will definitely go back.

Wish I could give no stars. If these ladies braided as much as they talk they would have your hair done in a reasonable amount of time. I called and made an apt for 12:00 I wasnt taken to a seat until 1. I told whomever it was on the phone what I wanted, and she said okay no problem. I literally had 5 different women do my hair throughout the course of the day, and none of them communicated what I wanted. I kept showing each woman the picture and they acted as if they understood what I wanted done. My problem is how can you have any consistency when that many people are braiding your hair on and off ? Want to know how ? YOU CANT !!!!!!! The lady waits until she is 95% done with my hair to tell me that they cant do it the way I want. I was so upset I could have combusted, no one wants to sit a whole day and pay over 100 for a hair style they do not want. Especially after I expressed several times what I wanted done. Janel did give me a discount, but at the end of the day my hair is not what I wanted, and she told me it wouldnt last long...... well thank you for nothing! I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. If you want to waste your day and money go here.

I spoke to Janel on the phone to get my Box Braids done. She was prompt in her response and the ladies were professional, fast, and neat. I really appreciate the way the salon handled my complaint it was superb. We were able to get me back in the chair and correct it promptly. For that I will definitely recommend this shop because they ACTUALLY care about their clients happiness. I will always come to Janel for all my braiding services!Merci Ladies

I love this place ! Im always pleased when I go get my hair done there . The ladies are so professional and they always manage to do what I want even though Im really complicated lol .i must say they are really patient and understanding. I like the fact that they are fast and there is always more than 5 person working in the salon . Janelle is the best I would say, especially with weaves and braids. She is very patient also . Ive never been disappointed because she is very talented. If youre looking for an affordable prices and quality work I would strongly advise you do go to them. They accept walk in but I would advise you to take an appointment.

I love coming here. Janel is the Best and this is the Only place i would ever get my hair braided. I found her on Yelp and from the first time i walked in she was very warm and welcoming. This place is wonderful it only took them a four hours to do my extra long box braids, and I even fell asleep. That never happens when Im getting my hair braided. My mom goes to them as well, and enjoy every experience. If you want to get your hair braided professionally and fast come to this place!!

Janel and her staff are very professional, very reasonable prices, clean, and the work is always neat. My hair has grown so much since I have been coming here since January they dont braid too tight where you have bumps or headaches. I love this place and recommend it to anyone in GA

Price was decent is the ONLY upside. I had my hair hair taken down, washed and braided. After taking my hair down the stylist gave me the comb and pretty much walked away!!! She wanted me to comb it out before the wash!!! Then, for the wash she had NO RUNNING WATER and used water from the bathroom sink to fill up a bucket to wash my hair! Never had any experience like this before at a so called professional salon.

If you are on a tight budget then please proceed with CAUTION. I honestly do not understand why they have a 4star rating and still in business. Terrible experience ever, money wasted. I saw the 4star reviews and decided to give this salon a try, txtd the # provided to ask about services and try to set an appointment, was told to just come in the next day. Called the # before I arrived to check what type of hair to buy and she explained it over the phone which for the love of.... could not really hear( I knew what I wanted and explained to hair and showed her videos and was told it can be done) Arrived at the salon at 12.50pm, was told to wait as there was only another lady being braided. This salon is very dirty, the moment I walked in there was a pungent smell, hair literally everywhere greeting you from the door, rubbish which looked like it had been there for weeks and no AC. The lights were dim, braiding hair was on the floor were it could have been packed nicely somewhere. To cut a long story short I left the salon at 20.50pm after having 3 people do simple crotchet braiding which turned out to be a disaster.(showed them many times whatI wanted). Very inefficient way of working, not having a proper booking system, having kids run around where there is boiling water, electric cables, dangerous and unprofessional. BTW the toddlers are the owners kids... Clean up your place it is so simple, leave the kids at home, be professional dont shout on top of your voices!

I have been going to Janel for a year now, and always satisfied with her service. The hair always looking great and she also take time to make sure that you satisfied with what you wanted. One day I said a friend with the hair style and she told me who did hair, after she gave me Janel number i contact her after I contact her gave me the details by taxes me and provide to me all the information that I needed from the hair to get and the style is needed for my and the prices, the direction how to get to the shop and also where to get food when you are hungry. If the is a problem she will also take care of it for. That is what you call a great customer service.Thanks girl.

I had an appointment for box braids on Friday June 22, 2018. @ 7:30 pm. I arrived at 7:15 AFTER A 12 HOUR WORKDAY . When I walked in the door, it smelled like SOILED BABY DIAPERS 🤢 and trash was EVERYWHERE all over the floor from the front to the back of the salon. It was 2 toddlers under age 3 running, back and forth, playing, SCREAMING, crying, throwing things and literally climbing the girl braiding my hair 😓🤬😤Not only were the children OUT OF CONTROL but so LOUD that I couldn’t hear what the girl braiding my hair was even saying as she stood directly in front of me.There is also ROACH INFESTATION at this shop (Do Not sit your purse down you might leave with ROACHES) they are everywhereThe worst part about my appointment is that I love my hair 😍 because GLAMOUR which I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was fast, professional and slayed my hair💯💯. However she would not agree to see me outside the shop (loyalty 🤷🏽‍♀️).So sad because I am NEVER GOING BACK to the ROACH INFESTED DAYCARE again. BTW the toddlers belong to the owner of the shop and are there EVERYDAY 😕

My daughter recently went here and she came home with a 70/80 dollar hairstyle but was charged 120 and I really think this was done because she basically was dropped off by her sister this is the second or third time this has been done I feel like they take advantage because an adult was not there to monitor what was going on but. I use to trust janel. I have been a customer for over 4 yrs and when my daughter comes from savannah to atl. This is the placed we used but never again

My experience here was wonderful. The lady Tope who. Raised my sons hair did an excellent job. My baby is 2. She was kid friendly and very patient with him. I will definitely return.

I went to this braiding shop referred to by a friend of mine. I thought the customer service would be great, but instead it wasnt. The workers dont care if youre tender headed or the braids this size that you want or if you want the part to look a certain way. I had three workers working on my head. All three workers finished the back of my head, and then left to another customer. I wasnt notified about what was going on. I ended up waiting about 20-30 minutes for someone to finish the rest of my head. I would think that many of the workers would know to not braid tight around the edges. Well, the next day I was getting ready and taking off my headscarf two braids came off with my hair inside. I HAVE BALD SPOTS ON MY EDGES!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Took over 6 hours to get my twist done. The lady stopped to eat and talk on the phone every 15 minutes. No longer than 3 hours later my twist were unraveling. Also drove a great distance thinking it was worth it. By far my worst hair braiding experience. I now have to pay to get almost my whole head redone. Which is a total inconvenience....only reason I am giving any stars is because the owner Janell was very sweet.

Awful service. The owner is very combative and rude. My daughter and I both got braids and my daughters braids (Havana twist) were falling out in less then 3 weeks time. I called the owner Janelle. She hung up on me three times claiming she couldnt hear me. When I asked for a refund she heard that loud and clear and stated she couldnt do that. Not to mention while my daughter was getting her hair braided she was rude to another customer. Dont waste your money!!!

I went to this place last week ago. I feel funny something not right because I feel still itching on my hair so badly sooo worse turn red now it’s really hurt .... they cost me $90 but I told them that what I want this faux locs . They just add idea fixing on my hair which she trying hide cover on my hair look like not finish .... I will never back the place again anymore..... I’m so disappointed rite now

Tree braids done today and was not happy. Got a good look at my hair. I have a bald spot on the side of my head, i have really thick corn rolls and my hair sticking out on the ends with rubber bands attached to the ends. I have been getting tree braids for years and never had them done this way. I will never return to this shop again.

These women are awesome! I needed box braids and I needed to be done by 2pm... I came in at 9am they were done by 1pm! I love my box braids they have me great pricing on them as well... I will be going back to them when I need a touch up or for my braids to be redone period!Janell and her braiders are also great women to be around ... They did an awesome job the first time I got my hair done... Then the last two times I went I had an issue first with my Ghana braids... Then with my crochet.. My hair has nine packs of crochet box braids and still has to be worn a certain way in order to cover the back where its extremely sparse. I cant understand why you would tell someone wear your hair down to cover the part that doesnt have many braids Wth......I cant Im done!!Called the owner to complain not once did she apologize and say she would fix the problemCustomer service is Key!!!

Customer service is great. Very nice staff however my braids look very unprofessional. They are not neat nor even. My braids started unraveling the first day. I feel like she tried to hide my braids imperfections by slapping a lot of gel on my braids afterward.

The employees may or may not speak to you when you come in.... they may or may not do a good job on your braids. You just never know what you’ll get here, save yourself the trouble and find a consistent professional salon.

Janel is a great hairstylist, I am one of her loyal customers . Love the way she styles my hair, even if I show her a style shell do it her own way ! Very sweet lady :) Ill definitely becoming back for more different looks !

I paid $80 for box twist & I couldve done a better job myself. No hair added & my hair isnt even shoulder length. Pretty over priced if you ask me.

Worst service of my life..I came and got my hair done and it fell out in less then a week.. I let Martha know the braids were falling out... I told her I was gonna take the braids out and I want box braids instead.. she said she wouldn’t charge me much because the braids came out and after the service was done she charged me 150$.... that fact that I have a Mohawk and the service she provided was crappy.... and she still charges me 150$ is absurd!!! I will never come here again

Received a full sew in service two weeks ago, and my sew in is already coming undone. Braids underneath are loose. Feels like Ive had this done two months ago. Now I have to get my hair done all over again! Very unhappy and will not be back. Waste of money.

Janels hair salons name is false advertisement. She does not give you $50 off even as a new customer. Terrible. Rip off. They are money hungry. Her service is unprofessional. The staff was polite but my braids look horrible! I asked for box braids and even took in a picture. The braids are so many different sizes. The root of the braids are very large while the ends look like micro braids. They dont look professionally done at all!

I have been coming here for a while & even recommend more than 5 people who also get braids at this location, however when I went last week it was 4pm they wanted to close early I got two braids going back and it was neat but Frizzy I have blonde hair she put black gel all on top of braid now my hair looks black not Happy, I wont b going back they talk to much and rush.

The braids I got was very unprofessional installed, my natural hair was sticking out of one braid,when she added on extra length to the braid it was a knot on one braid makes the whole style look sloppy,in the process they were being difficult about fixing my style I thought to myself why would I go back to the same place that messed up my hair.go somewhere else ladies this isnt it.
