Love it! Definitely will return. They have tons of milk options including unsweetened almond milk (a lot of places dont have that), oat milk, soy milk, etc. My latte was excellent and they even brought my drink and food to my table. Super friendly. Really nice atmosphere and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating, both front and back, have cover. It really is a perfect spot to hang out with friends or just sit and work at your laptop. Also, theres lots of free street parking. Wish I had known about this place sooner! Cant wait to go back.
I used to love this place so much. I hadnt been in about 5 years and stopped by while in the area.. While the ambiance and atmosphere is still lovely, the latte left a lot to be desired.
Wonderful little pit stop on my weekend trip! Had some of the best chai Ive ever had. The ladies working the counter were incredibly sweet and welcoming. Definitely got my day off to a great start !
Finding this place was such a pleasant surprise. The location is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. It was a great place to go for brunch. I love flavored lattes and they have some great combinations. I had a breakfast sandwich with a side grits. The biscuit was fluffy and the grits were cheesy and smooth.
We took the exit from the freeway on our trip to eat and have good coffe (all in one place) but sadly they dont serve breakfast anymore. This was a boomer.
Good place for a coffee, beer or wine. Nice place to site and see whats going on it talk on the phone. Get busy in the afternoon...
A very quaint spot. Wonderful coffee and quiches.
The cafe is small and simple, but delicious! Drinks are canned, bottled, or served in a red solo cup. The food does not look fancy, dont let it fool you! The gouda grits are some of the best Ive tasted since Ive been in the south. The biscuits are fresh and fluffy. The omelet I had was good, but the eggs were a little over cooked. I would definitely come back again.
Delightful brunch café - absolutely worth the drive to Norcross! The featured lattés of the day included Butterbeer, Honey Lavender, Enlish Rose, and Sea Salted Caramel (hello, the things dreams are made of!), not what you can find just anywhere! They also have juices and other beverages including offerings from Ardens Gardens, wine and beer.Although there isnt a specific gluten free menu, there are plenty of offerings including omlettes and the must-have Classic 45 Breakfast (simply skip the toast or if you ask very nicely they might give you a gluten free hamburger roll instead). The Classic 45 is a significant portion, packed with flavor, and an excellent value. The large windows and lighting provide a wonderful warm glow that reminisces of Grandmas kitchen. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a deceptively large seating area, including more private tables behind the kitchen and a patio in the rear. The café also hosts Wine Tastings on the Second Thursday of each month. There are a number of local shops within walking distance, making this an excellent place to meet friends and then venture out for shopping therapy! 45 South is affordable, friendly, and a local comfort for sure!
The sweetest lady was working today and made our first visit to 45 the absolute best. She was SUPER engaging and ensured that we got exactly what we were looking for. Loooove the outdoor space in the back. Will definitely come back!
Nice place to have a snack and some coffee or tea and to visit with friends. Outside is a great spot to do all that and get your Vitamin D as well. Cozy, old time feel and you can walk around the old town afterward. Thanks Norcross!
Late breakfast & glad we came to this eatery. Place is cozy & been a group of six we put two tables together & by the time we finish a server came with the silverware & menu. We order the three egg Omelette (Spinach, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Feta) with their house Potatoes & wheat toast. I got their Burrito with Cheese Grits. Food was great, server was excellent & we enjoyed our food.
Greeted immediately upon entering. Casual and laid back atmosphere. The hostess was super sweet and informative on the menu items as it was our first time eating here. Prices were reasonable and they have a great selection of coffee and lattes. Had the assic Breakfastgrits which consisted of eggs, gouda grits, chicken sausage and biscuit...all for $8. Served quickly and hot. They have free wifi here as well so great to bring your laptop and work. Would definitely visit again.
We had a fantastic lunch and the service was great. I will recomend this place to my friends.
Had great coffee drinks. There is a covered outdoor patio and an open patio behind the indoor part.
I love the atmosphere of this place. I’ve been a few times and each time I’m satisfied with everything over all. The owner seems to be very active and will check on you to see how everything is going. That’s a nice touch. The wait staff is very kind and knowledgeable as well. The is tasty and decently priced. A definite solid spot for coffee and food.
Went for a meet & greet, got a coffee to enjoy during the meeting. It was wonderful. Great mom&pop coffee house.
I had a great vanilla latte. Cant speak for the food but Id definitely go back for coffee again.
Came on a Monday morning to study and get some breakfast. The best Gouda grits ever. So cheesy and just plain delicious. I had overeats eggs, bacon, avocado and a biscuit. Everything was delicious. Spent $14.70 plus tip.The place is clean with ample tables. Clean bathroom and friendly staff. Ample parking in the area. Will definitely come back.
Thankful for a place to hang out and work. Their drinks and treats are amazing! Best banana bread ever!
I ordered a chai latte. The service was very slow and tea was kind of cold. That was really disappointing. The star is for their banana bread which was actually good.
Cute place yummy sweets awesome coffee! Great people❤
So friendly and delicious! My order was double checked and the person who helped me was so very sweet. She deserves a raise!
Great place for brunch meeting.
Coffee is good and the service is friendly for the most part. Not yet serving food from the kitchen.
Like the quich on Sunday morning.
Great quiche, great coffee
Nice coffee shop good batista
I totally love this place. The various national flags hanging from the ceiling reflect the diverse number of customers from across the world that they have had over the years. I have held meetings here and enjoyed the breakfast and various coffee items they serve. They even have matcha green tea lattes! The staff are really friendly and it’s located in a really happening and reviving part of downtown Norcross. It’s no surprise why they’ve been frequently busy!
Good staff 👍
The atmosphere is good, very good service, I always enjoy when Im there.I will suggest to get a better coffee, I personally dont like it, I will drink it but its not the best coffee that I have ever had.But I will keep going there. They have many other things like the quiche that I got was really good and they have other beverages. I really like this place. I will suggest to give it a try, may be is just me that I dont like their coffee.
Coffee & snacks only. Currently no hot food / breakfast / brunch..
Best CC cookies!
This quaint little cafe had a very cozy and welcoming environment. The food was very good and brought out relatively quickly after we ordered. Waitress was very friendly. They seemed a little understaffed though and that was the only negative part of our experience. We would definitely come here again!
Great little coffee shop
The coffee in this place was great. Would be good to try it again when I want to have a chat with friends and need some place to go to
Amazing breakfast! Great ambience and outdoor seating for social distancing.
Great atmosphere, great service, and a great menu!Kenny showed me what they had to offer and I had a great coffee on his recommendation! If you ever get your coffee to go, make sure you take off the lid and look at the design on top before you drink it!I’m very happy with this visit!
Literally the best atmosphere the perfect amount of cozy and comfort food also great service
Walked in, wasnt sure if I seated myself. Got no instructions from cashier or manager standing right there. I waited a few minutes then left. Didnt feel they wanted my business so...
Great coffee and staff!
Nice quaint place with a friendly staff. I am a little under the weather and the cashier took my order and asked how I felt. Then he offered some ibuprofen to help me out. Outstanding customer service. The coffee was delicious and perfect just the way I ordered it. I will return again. Great first impression!!!
Awesome food.Awesome service.Awesome atmosphere. This place is the perfect local eatery. We wish we could find it in every small town we visit. The food is fresh fresh fresh, the coffee/latte is exemplary, and the servers are smart. The garden area in the back ... wow!
Our favorite coffee place in the world!!
Very good quiche great service
I love this place. I can walk to it from my home. They recently changed the menu. I didnt like that. They have removed quite a bit from the menu due to COVID-19. Still like visiting. And dog friendly which is important to.
This is a really cool coffee house. It is very unique inside. At the same time it is very relaxing and comfortable. It was the first time I was seated by a host in a coffee house. It was a great experience. But to mention great coffee.
Good coffee
Very nice place to meet up. Great coffee and quiches.
We came all the way from Charleston sC on Vacation. My husband and I wanted some good breakfast food. Well let me tell you we got it . The food was delicious. I would recommend for them to get a greeter at the front door. Our waitress was wasn’t friendly at all we had to ask for menus. Also we had to find our own table. She kept stopping from serving us to serve another young lady. That came after us . Our mimosa was suppose to be in a champagne glass she gave it to us in a small plastic cup.
Went there to visit my family...awesome food and great service..will keep coming back for Iced Carmel Macchiatos and The Quiche .....
I had written a review previously. The food is good all around. I have a problem with cold food and that was the problem. Food taste, no complaints. I had an order to go and it was nice and hot. Great coffee. Service has improved. We used to go and be ignored. Good improvement.
Nice place. My daughter likes it here.
I wasnt a fan of the food however it gives you a feel of a coffee shop (Which i think thats what it is) the breakfast wasnt what I really was looking for but the customer service was great. Its a cute preppy spot in town.
Best coffee I have had in a long time! Delicious breakfast. Owner gave free coffee to the table of seniors. Great place!!
Really fresh food made to order. Fast food and friendly service. An excellent start to our morning.
The place is cute and the color combination is just perfect. The food matches the atmosphere of a cafe indeed
Best Latte I have ever tasted! So glad I decided to check them out while on a business trip. If I come back to Norcross, I will definitely be going back to 45 south cafe!
Great atmosphere and the fresh brewed coffee was good. Service was quick and food brought quickly and hot. As others have mentioned the chicken sausage was great! Reasons it wasn’t 5 stars: for $9 the French toast was only ok, not a lot of taste and nothing special... would prefer fresh cream in my coffee, after I was done eating we stayed and talked for 30 min but wasn’t offered a coffee refill... would definitely return, but probably just for the coffee!
This our favorite breakfast place. Super friendly staff, cozy cafe environment that is warm and welcoming, and delicious food. Whenever we want to get breakfast out, this is where we go.
Could not be more thrilled with the quality of food, drinks, and service. I had come here a few times for brunch on Sunday and very much enjoyed the food and coffee I got, so when I was looking for a venue for the bridal shower I was hosting I inquired here. Both Jeanette and Gene were so helpful through the whole process and went above and beyond helping with the set up and breakdown of decorations. I highly recommend 45 South for just a casual meal or to host your next event. They truly made the whole process easy and enjoyable!
The waitress completely forgot about one whole order for our table. Twice!! The 2 of us that received our food shared with the 3rd. When we were almost finished with our food the waitress came back and asked us how everything was and I asked when would our 3rd persons order come out... she blank stared and said “what did she order?” Like really. Well we asked for our bill and the lady had the nerve to charge us for the food we didn’t receive. Then a man came an legitimately argued with us saying “Are you sure you didn’t get it there’s a piece of the burrito on your plate?” We had to share because we weren’t gonna eat in front of one of our group. That’s rude. Kind of like arguing with a person who was ignored at your restaurant. Well, he resolved it by taking off the burrito and giving a discount. Which doesn’t resolve the horrible experience.
My favorite metro area coffee shop. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and there is no music playing at an obnoxious volume to keep you from concentrating on your video or conversation with a friend.
This sweet spot Is one of my favorites in Ga! I drive out of my way just to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and breakfast here! Their standard drip coffee choices are delicious, but if you want to try something different, my all time fav Is the banana cream pie latte! It is delicious! Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are good, their grits are delicious, and their yogurt parfait, add honey, is my personal favorite!
I had the breakfast bowl😋 Food was delicious. The service was fast & friendly. Id dine here again.
Friendly service, the food is alright but the atmosphere is what makes this place a 4 star cafe. At night the backyard becomes a juxtaposition of green vegetation, aging brick and christmas lights. Ive went on a few dates and business meetings at this cafe.
This was my first time coming here and it was a shame. I came here with a party of seven adults and one child. The server was quick to ask us for drinks and sat us with no spoons for coffee and no straws for water. A guest in our party had to stir her coffee with her knife. Thirty minutes later we realized our coffee had not been refilled and we still didnt have our food. The waiter didnt check on us or ask if we needed anything. I spoke to the manager and her response was that they had a small kitchen...so you could still have come to us and asked if we needed anything. After 40 MINUTES of waiting we got our food one by one. So people were waiting to until everyone got their food so we could all eat together. Then several of us got grits and were not provided spoons. After seeing all of the positive reviews my girlfriends and I thought this could be our every weekend brunch spot...WRONG!!!! SO DISAPPOINTED.
The single greatest Cafe that I have ever been to in the entirety of my life. The atmosphere is the most elegant, nonchalant, and serene that I have encountered in my life. I had finished a 15 page essay in merely an hour with this atmosphere. There are no fault in these stars.
Grits are amazing but I just wish they had less pork options like I wish the gravy didnt have pork sausage
Doesnt say online anywhere that their kitchen is closed so they have extremely minimal offerings outside drinks. Disappointed.
Good food and good service. You pick your table. Gluten free options.
What a cute little place!! My friend Ms. L live just over the train tracks, so we walked here last night. She totally loved their mocha cheesecake! And I simply enjoyed some iced tea. They have tables on the sidewalk out in front, as well as tables on their patio in back. It was a somewhat busy Saturday night, so we opted for the patio as it was much quieter. Such a pleasant place to simply sit and talk for an hour!
Small and unimposing on the outside, but one of the best little gathering-places in Norcross. Great coffee, warm atmosphere, a fine meeting-place for a shared cuppa or a local business meeting. One of Norcross best-kept secrets!
We got there at about quarter till 2 not knowing the kitchen shut down at 2 so it took us nearly 40 minutes to get 2 burgers delivered to us. Other than that, the waiter was very nice about things, the burger was really good. More of a coffee bar with food on the side.
We were asked to seat ourselves upon arrival but waited for 10 minutes without service before I got up and got my own menus.Once our orders were taken it took over 20 minutes to get our omelets during which time our iced tea glasses were empty and not refilled. The food was good when we did finally receive it and the restaurant is very cute. Hopefully our poor service was an isolated incident.
Usually come in the evening so its a very relaxed atmosphere. Yummy quiche and hot chocolate. Nice staff :)
Indoor and outdoor seating options, art on the walls, great coffee and food choices. I enjoyed an iced mocha. Very yummy.
Great food and great customer service! I will definitely be back!
I had an amazing exexperience at this little cafe! My friend and I were at the local car show and were starving so this was a perfect place. I had the 45 burger and it was amazing, well cooked, juicy, and not greasy. The fries were absolutely delicious. The only complaint was a 20 minute wait for the food, dont know why. I was about to complain but the food was very very good so I will be back. The prices were insane for this good of food! I will be back to this little cafe!
Fantastic coffee and banana bread and even better people and service. Im a frequent flyer 😁
Good food! My husband is glutten intolerant and I get so happy whenever they have options for him. Norcross area is great. Loved the experience.
Great food, good service from Bailey, good prices. Second time here would definitely recommend and come back here.
Great chicken sausage! My 3 year old preferred the sausage over her eggs... And she loves scrambled eggs! Server was new but sweet and informative. Fun relaxed atmosphere.
