The number one rule that I say is that if you can’t order the food in English then it’s not the right place to go. I’m saying this because every good Mexican place I go to nobody speak English. The food here is amazing especially the tamales. They also have different type of desserts including mexican bread. You can either sit down and eat or take your food to go.

Food is good but Costumer services Not 👎🏽 I do not like the salsa‘s they give you with the to go orders and every single time I request lids to get different type of salsa from the bar they say NO. They claim that is only for the people who dine in but if we all pay the same price for the food so I don’t see why we can’t have an option.

I ordered a variety of tacos and tamales for take out, and they were generally pretty good, though not quite as good as El Taco Veloz. A few other notes:1) You might have to order in Spanish.2) Theres a whole grocery store that I havent explored.3) On balance, the tamales were better than the tacos.4) Ill definitely be back

This place has amazing homemade tortillas, they expedite the food rather quickly, I highly recommend the barbecue and the red tamales. The flour tortillas are delicious

Excellent food! Rotisserie chicken is juicy and perfectly cooked. Verde pollo Tamales are the best I’ve had in a long time. Customer service is great, they are patient with me and my Spanish. Highly recommend if you want authentic food!

I have been going to The Imperial for years now because they truly have great food. But unfortunately the customer service has taken a huge hit lately. Maybe for about a year now. And now the quality of food has gone down as well, it is a hit or miss with the food. They are very popular and I have taken many people from out of state to this location but their customer service makes for an awful experience. I really hope they work on their customer service!!

The line moves slowly but the food is worth the wait. Your nose will start twitching as soon as you get out of the car. Rotisserie chicken and ribs are available by the plate or pound. Wings, fish and several different kinds of tamales can be ordered. This is a no frills kind of place with traditional food to go in styrofoam boxes. The corn tortillas are awesome here.

This is the best place for delicious Mexican food. Everything I’ve had has been well seasoned and consistent.

Careful with the chiles rellenos specially if you arent just to eat spicy food.Also want to mention I believe I was charge too much last time I was there, unfortunately my husband didn’t ask for a receive so I cant argue about😅

This place may have tasty food, but costumer services is one of the worse I also had to wait 20 min to be serve, there was one lady serving at lunch time.

They have the most delicious refried beans and rice I highly recommend their slabs of ribs perfect for a family dinner on a Sunday Funday.

This place got a lot of good stuff, food ready to go, pollo asado, pork ribs on green salsa, fresh ; tortillas, bread, orange juice ....snacks, the selection is just crazy !!From out side dont look to attractive but come inside and look around because is like 5 stores inside ( pasa y encuentra muchas cosas adentro ..recomiendo su variedad )

I think its was because I was african American. The lady purposely gave the wrong price because they didnt want to serve me.. I also had to ask for help instead of being asked if I needed help.

Tortillas are awesome and the carne asada gorditas are good. Carnitas do not have flavor and has too much fat and bones. Not sure about the other food. They messed up our order, they have horrible customer service. From no forks, napkins, salsa, Even though they had a waitress who clearly does not know what shes doing. Then when we told them there was a mistake with our order the women had bad attitudes. Only go there specifically for tortillas pretty much.

This is a peculiar spanish-speaking bodega/taqueria at the northern edge of Doraville. Dont let the run down store front appearance dissuade you from going inside. Inside they serve cheap, delicious tacos cooked fresh to order along with about two dozen other dishes including soups, mojarras, carnitas, enchiladas, and other assorted Mexican and central american fare.The dining area is bare bones... a couple of booths, some tables and a flat screen showing spanish-language TV. The eating area shares space with a bakery, ice cream booth, small grocery store and financial services desk. The cooks will bring your meal out to you and provide you with two sauces, but drinks are self serve from the grocery store soda cooler. This is spartan fare. The tacos come on soft tortillas with your choice of meat, onion, cilantro and nothing else. The quesadillas are almost as thick as sandwiches and there is no sour cream to be found anywhere on the premises!If you want no-nonsense, yummy tacos that will go easy on your wallet then stop on in.

Order 100 tamales by December 24th. The tamales were stale. I dont know if they made the tamales days ago but we didnt like it. And besides expensive they were. $ 2.40 each.

You really bad, I have the experience that today it goes through beef broth and stuffed chilies, in broth only vegetables. I called on the phone, and the young lady who answered told me that I had to bring the broth to give me credit.Absurd alive at 20 miles.What a disappointment!As a Business owner, the customer first and for the customers is that there is a Business.She told me a liar, because she spoke to the person who dispatched the order, and she said that I was looking and accepting the broth as it was.Im an adult first.Second I win.Third, this is not about money, but if you pay for food that you get what you ask for.Fourth I am not alone to drive back 20 miles through the broth, there are other stores.Fifth and last I have many more important things to do.The good thing that I order chiles rellenos 😕

I bought roasted chickens and they didnt break them for me, nor did they give me sauces or the tortillas that go with the chicken. Bad service I do not recommend.
