I would highly recommend Innovative sight and sound to do any sound, wiring or home automation system. I bought a home with control 4 technology in the house but the AV and control room in the house was a mess. jay came and looked at what I had, and gave me a fair proposal and quote. I was very pleased with the work he and Wes did. Took a few days to rip old wires out and put in a clean rack with all wires properly labeled and coiled. They also mounted all my tvs and endured surround sound was properly wired and configured for both inside and outside rock and wall speakers on patio. These guys are the best in Atlanta area. Check out the before and after photos where it was a mess and now is very clean. Presentation matters!

OUTSTANDING HOME THEATER!!I hired Jay Ferebee with Innovative Sight & Sound to design and build out an 8 chair, platform seated home theater room with a 120 screen, 4K projector and full surround sound 11:2. Jay and his team were extremely professional and very knowledgeable on absolutely every aspect of the design, equipment, and installation, and provided valuable insight and recommendations for my contractor during the renovation and construction of the basement room. Additionally, Jay offered excellent recommendations for home theater chairs, soundproofing, equipment options, spot and can lighting, networking and automation. His team was extremely responsive during the entire process and they were with us the entire way - from the start to finish. Very dissatisfied with a call I had with Jay. He made sure to tell me that the things that they do are usually upwards of $10,000+ and he said that hes telling me this because he doesnt to waste his time if Im not interested in paying that amount. We recently moved into an older home and needed to overhaul the entire internet/audio/visual systems. Having moved from a home whereby we recently upgraded several systems, I wanted to reuse what I could but also implement current technology. Jay with Innovative did a great job reusing existing equipment and layering in new equipment. This helped me manage cost but at the same time upgrade my overall system. In addition, he laid out a plan so we could integrate the technology across one platform to make it easier to manage. We received a notice in the mail from Innovative Sight & Sound and my husband immediately called and spoke with Jay. He came to our home and went over the type of camera system we wanted and he recommended. Jay did the installation himself and worked very hard and told us what he was doing every step of the way. Jay was fantastic! He helped us streamline all of our services and simplify - no more two remotes to turn on TVs and no more cable. He helped us select the right smart TVs and installed and set everything up for us as well as patiently showed us how to work everything. Jay and his team did an excellent job with our A/V and internet upgrade at our house. They helped streamline our Sonos system in the house and backyard as well as install an Eero mesh internet system. They also helped mount our tvs on walls and hide the boxes and cords to give everything a clean look. Jay did an amazing job and was super helpful. Everything was installed professionally, with care and attention. My TVs and sound systems look great and function as they should. Jay even took it upon himself to tidy up my low voltage wiring so that everything was tidy and presentable. I’m actually having the metal cabinet cover replicated from plexiglass to show off how good everything looks. I really don’t know what else to say, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your home audio video needs. I’ve already had Jay in for two installations and when we upgrade our tv in the near future, there is no doubt we will purchase it from Innovative.

I reviewed several companies online before I made my decision. I happen to live in a fairly exclusive North Georgia neighborhood, and it seemed that many companies were randomly setting their prices, based on my home, not the project.I appreciated the Innovative team because they took the time to understand my needs and present a fantastic solution at a reasonable price. The last time I embarked on this type of project, me and my best friend Google, knew more than my installer! This time around these guy were doing the research and bringing ME ideas.Their bid was not the lowest, but it was competitive. I will say that a friend of mine opted for the company that offered me the lowest bid. I won’t name the company, but it’s a large national chain that I still think is “best place to buy” if you’re looking for great deals on certain things, but the difference on my custom install and my friends is night and day. FYI, I am the KING of deals on electronics, but Innovative matched the price close enough on most of my equipment, that once I factored in delivery charges, and hassle, I may have paid 3-5% more, but I was cool with it all things considered. No returns, wrong parts, blah, blah, blah.Had a couple glitches, but the company was very accessible for new install issues (buy the kit that allows them to access your system remotely. Worth it!) My only knock, I’m all about my rewards points on my credit card. Innovative charges a “fee” for using credit cards. Not enough to tick you off and become a total deal breaker, but enough to raise your eyebrow a little. Pay by check, or address this issue up front.My project covered everything from a home theater to remote garage door entry. I did not notice a decline in expertise in any particular area. (They never seemed “lost”. Saw them contact the manufacturer a few times for clarifications, but the conversation seemed like two pros talking shop, not like “I’m clueless help me) I can’t speak to how they would a “smaller project” like hanging TV’s or something like that but, a for a “bigger project”, with a lot of moving parts. I totally recommend them.Ask specifically for Jay, or ask him to recommend the best installer for your project. He’s one of top guys in the company. Good guy. Straight shooter. Arrives on time. He missed my completion deadline a little bit, BUT, my wire closet was a hot mess and he ultimately was late because he got obsessed with cleaning up the infrastructure like he was the wire fairy or something. His OCD was working in my favor so I couldn’t complain. (Side note-This guy vacuumed the job and stacked the empty boxes every single day. Thought I caught him slacking one day, but he had just taken a late lunch. Came back, cleaned up and left)Anywho, everything is working. They offer a warranty, but I haven’t had to use it yet. If I do, I’ll be back to report.
