This store is amazing! Great selection of oils and vinegars! The owner is very knowledgeable with ideas for recipes, etc and you can taste before u buy! Who knew vinegar on ice cream could taste so good! Or flavor your drinking water with vinegar! A must try store for sure!

Love the Olive Bin. Their staff is always really friendly and very helpful. If you check in online on Facebook they give you a free small bottle of their special of the month which I love because you can taste something you don’t know if you would necessarily use at home. They have great varieties of vinegar’s oil’s as well as other things. The best part is you can sample them before you buy them and they even hand out bread, ice cream etc. to sample it with. I always end up leaving with something new and have never been disappointed. The oils and vinegars also make great alternatives gifts for hard to buy for people or as an extra gift or two to bring along for someone you didn’t expect to be at the party. I cannot say enough good things about The Olive Bin

My wife and I visited the store several months ago and were very impressed with the variety. During our visit the owner was friendly in telling us about the offerings. We just picked up our drive-up order and look forward to shopping in the store when it opens again. Stay well and stay safe.

An epicurean delight for the people who love good food. My daughter in law took me to the store, have already been there twice and planning to go ones more before returning to PA where I live. Very friendly and knowledgeable personnel.

I love the Olive Bin! I have tried many flavors of oils and balsamic vinegars from them and have loved them all. I really enjoy using them when i cook veggies. Recently, I purchased truffle oil there and have been utilizing it so much with pasta! I would highly recommend for anyone that enjoys cooking (or as a gift)!

WOW, what a great store! Best buy from California to Atlanta is the large bottle of balsamic traditionali vinegar....and I was a gourmet food buyer. Great selection and wonderful customer service!

Loved sampling everything! I had no idea how good flavored balsamic tasted on ice cream! If you are looking for an original gift idea or something unique to do on a night out, stop in and start sampling. Their staff is very helpful and will encourage you to sample everything. A gem of a store!

A great place for a unique outing. With bread for the oil and ice cream for the vinegar, tasting each and every product is a delight. The staff is friendly and full of great suggestions. The oils and vinegars are all excellent; its impossible to pick a favorite!

Great selection and service

Wonderful store; selection of olive oil (EVOO, flavor infused etc) and vinegars (balsamics, flavored etc) is beyond belief. There are several sizes of each so can buy a smaller size to try if not sure of flavor. however, they bring you cut bread to try the oils and ice cream if you wish to try the vinegars - yum. The Olive Bin is an incredible experience for foodies - completely unique to Bloomington Normal. Enter the store, and receive incredible customer service from the friendly employees - who walk you through a tasting. We received bread to taste all the oils (so much variety!), and then, to my delight, we received a cup of vanilla ice cream for tasting the balsamic vinegars. It sounds bizarre, but its delicious! I recommend The Olive Bin to anyone whos looking for a fun thing to do with friends/family, for gift baskets, and for all the gourmet oils and vinegars your kitchen is looking for!

My mother in law who lives in Bloomington introduced me to the Olive Bin a few years ago and I loved it. Sampling the different oils and vinegars was surprisingly fun and got me to try things I never would have bought otherwise. Now almost every time my husband and I visit from St Louis I make a trip here to restock my favorite olive oils or to look for something new.My 3 favorites are the spicy green baklouti chile, lemon, and basil olive oils. I cook with them all the time! Also love the espresso, fig, and blueberry basalmic vinegars, surprisingly over ice cream (the way they have you sample it) or just in a simple spinach salad.This is one of my go-to places around the holidays to get great gifts for people. My stepmom loves to cook and host parties and she’s loved everything I’ve gotten her. Also awesome that you can order online.
