Been in and out of this store for around 10 to 15 years in the blono area, have had ups and downs. Satisfied most of the time but just doesnt have the stock or knowledge that it should being a corporation. Lowes, home Depot and Menards are better options if youre going to give your money to corporate. Youll get a little lower prices and a better customer experience with the big guys.

I come here often to get odds and ends. They have made keys for me, paint, and random tools. I always enjoy coming here. Its amazing such a small looking store could have just about everything you could want inside!

I wish I knew the gentlemans name that assisted me, he was great. Just purchased a house and had some minor repairs that I needed to complete. He was able to easily explain to me how to do it and how to keep future issues from occurring. Very happy

This store has become one of my favorites tools store, fair prices, fair quality plus using coupons makes stuff even more affordable.

This store has pretty much everything youll ever need. However theyre strong point is service. They are helpful and will try theyre best to help you fix your problem. You pay a little more here, but time is money and getting the right thing the first time is well worth it.

Well, a year ago I gave them a 5 star rating. Unfortunately now I can not. In fact, Ill never go back. Sandy is not helpful but bordering rude. After shopping here for years her unhelpful attitude and disrespectful disposition has driven me away for good.

They are always friendly and helpful and reasonably priced. I like that one can purchase individual nuts, screws, etc instead of being forced to buy a whole package when I only need one or two.

Hey if you like to go and get what you want and not be distracted by the vast number of thing you can buy Stay Away!!! It is a store with a large selection of thing so you can get lost. Not because it so big but because it has so much packed into the place. The staff was helpful but allowed tou to shop without crowding. Id go back.

Pros- great location, wide variety, most staff is friendly.Cons- not enough inventory to complete a single job (paint, electrical, etc), prices are INSANE (like 3x the price of competitors insane), one very disgruntled employee, behind the times with tech, lost record of my client accounts.

You can find things here that big boxes dont carry. Helpful people

NA place such as Ace needs to be supported. When a town loses a hardware store such asAce. When you get a shoulder shrug at the huge store, it tells you they not only dont have it, they really dont care if you get it either. Not the case here. Not the case here.If you need help they help, are they out, they will order. Shrug of the shoulders has never happened to me here.

The manager was so over helpful with advice for me as a beginner. I will continue to shop here for now own for everything I can for my home remodeling venture.

A quick easy stop to find what I needed.

An associate spent extra time with me, so that I could find all the bolts and spacers that I needed. He didnt move on until I had everything I needed.

If you need an obscure bolt or have a question that no one else can answer, this is the place to go. They do normal stuff too. The customer service is the best for a home improvement or hardware store.

This place is always so helpful... I enjoy shopping here rather than a large home improvement store

The only real hardware store left in town with a knowledgeable staff to help you find that nut or bolt that your need to fix something. The store is a little cluttered and not all that big but at least you can find things pretty easy or ask someone for help. Their prices are higher but if you want to support a place where you can have someone who knows something about they sell... you should go there to shop. Yes you can still buy just one bolt... you dont have to buy of bag of them that you will never use.

Ace has a conveniently sized store and a diverse or somewhat random selection of items available. The downside is that it is usually pretty warm inside and their payment and inventory system is very outdated. Checking out usually takes quite a while and its hit or miss with the staff.

Looking for a very specific size and type of screw for a repair project. After spending a few minutes looking on my own. I summoned some help and an employee came almost immediately and found exactly what I needed and I was out the door almost immediately out the door.

My wife decided to go into ACE to get glass cut for a storm window that was broken. When she went in two younger men were up front and she asked if they could cut the glass for the window and had the frame and neither one of them knew that this could be done at your location. Then an older man worked on assisting her with the glass cutting and unfriendly, and when asked a question regarding what may be best to do in installing the glass back in he told her that we dont carry that stuff her and he pointed her to Ace High Glass. Then she was left carrying the glass and the frame as well as her wallet back up front. For a company who has a slogan of The Helpful Place you really fell short. Needless to say this will be the last time we visit this location. Maybe you should a page out of the Ace in Pontiac IL book.
