If 10 stars were an option, Id be searching for a way to select 20. Chad, Sarah and their staff have been incredibly helpful to me as a total newbie. I started walking through their doors about a month ago with a load of questions... and every week I return with more questions. They have gone above and beyond in customer service. You can feel their passion for cycling and sharing it with others. I look forward to continuing to shop with them.

I was having difficulties with my Dahon 80s vintage folding bike. I walked in and received excellent advice. I truly appreciate their wisdom and their time. I did buy two brand new tires and inner tubes.Now my bike is looking sharp and road worthy.

Neighborhood Bicycle Shop is amazing!! Sarah, Chad, and Andrew have been incredible to work with and got me set up on my new road bike! I scheduled a bike fit with them shortly after it arrived and they have gone above and beyond to help make sure my bike fits properly and is comfortable. They also did a flawless job changing out my stem (internal cable routing = not an easy time)! They have also helped me select a training plan that fits with my long-term cycling goals. If you need anything cycling related, I highly recommend their shop! 😊

Had a great experience! I did not purchase a bike there, but they were more than happy to fit me with a rear rack for my cruiser and install it for a fee. Even going a step further and tightening my front wheel because it was loose. Just all around nice and knowledgeable people.

My bike was accidentally broken by a loved one, and I had no idea how to fix it. These guys got me in so quickly and set up an appointment. They really went above and beyond getting me back on the road, fixing it in one day and now she rides like a dream. I think they took about 10 years off my bike, it feels brand new! As with any well loved LBS, there are usually people hanging out talking bikes, but dont be intimidated. They will be patient and understanding of all levels. Chad and Sarah have breathed new life into this shop, and I cant say enough about the service that theyre offering Norman cyclists. They took over a shop that catered mostly to novice cyclists, and they have turned it into a full-service bike shop that offers great products and excellent service, regardless of your cycling needs. Chad built me a rock-solid dynamo wheel for one of my fat bikes, and when I came in one day looking for boxes, he offered to transport them for me in his truck when they wouldnt all fit in my small car. They are genuinely friendly people who will treat you right, and if you in the Norman area and looking for a bike shop, you cant go wrong with Als. Drop by and see for yourself; theyre the real deal!

I just found Neighborhood bike shop on a recommendation from a friend. The owner (Chad)helped me with a custom suspension & bike set up. He is the most helpful and knowledgeable person I have dealt with in regards to mountain biking. If your in the market for anything bike related, this is the place to go. Very satisfied!

The people at Neighborhood Bicycles have been nothing but friendly and accommodating to me and my family. They are very thorough with their work and have tons of knowledge which they have shared generously.I have purchased four bikes and lots of maintinance from them, and each visit has been friendly.

Great place with friendly, very capable staff. My parents and I have been using Als for all our bike needs for the last 35 years total and they havent let us down yet. They always have known how to repair the bikes and have always proven able to. Reasonable prices, especially compared to direct local competition.

New owners took over 1/1/16. They are both awesome! Very nice. Very helpful. Bought a new road bike. When only about 20miles on it and all of a sudden something wasnt quite right. Stopped in without an appointment because I happened to be going by there with my bike in tow and Chad fixed it right away, no charge! They are both extremely helpful and knowledgeable about both road and mountain biking. I cannot say enough nice things about this shop and the new owners.

Great shop. Locally owned and operated. I have never bought a bike there, but I have bought quite a few parts and some special ordered. They are super nice folks. Really helpful, and they are competitive on their prices. Its gotten to the point that I would rather buy from them than shop online anymore.

New and fantastic owners. I am very new to the mountain bike community the owner (Chad) was very helpful in discussing some options with me. I was never pressured to buy anything and he even recommended taking a few days to think about my purchase. After I made the purchase, he got it all set up for me. After my first ride, I popped a leak in a tire so I took it back to the shop. He replaced the tube for me on the spot so I was able to go ride that day. Fantastic people, shop, and prices. I would highly recommend to anybody. They will be my go-to shop all the time.

Such an easy and relaxed shopping experience. I really appreciated the owner’s advice regarding kids bicycles. Ended up purchasing 2 and Al’s Bicycles converted them into balance bikes so that my kids could transition into their “big kid bikes.” They also offered to put the pedals back on once my kiddos are ready. Makes me feel proud to support such a friendly local business! Highly recommend!

I have purchased 4 bikes from Als in the past 2 years and have been very happy with all 4. Service is top-notch during and after the sale. Chad & Sara are the owners. Chad has been racing bikes since the late 90s BMX, Road, and Mountain and Sara also races so they have plenty of experience in what bike may be right for you and proper bike fit. If you have any issues with a current bike their repairs are also top-notch. I highly recommend calling or stopping by if you are looking for a new bike or need a repair.

I take my boys bikes here before every school year to get tuned up. They do a great job, communicate well, and have reasonable turn around time. I have also purchased 2 bikes over the years. The latest one was from the new owners. Both are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this shop for all your bike needs.

I came into the shop merely for advice. I had no intention of buying a bicycle and that was made clear to the store operator. Nonetheless, without any profit-incentivization, the store operator answered questions I had for 10 minutes, put me on bikes so that I could decide which type and size would be best for me, and recommended bike shops in others cities. Such a nice guy.

Really professional bike shop. The store is clean and well maintained and the staff are really friendly. The prices for repairs are fairly reasonable and they do it in a very timely fashion.

Great locally owned bike shop. The staff has tons of bike knowledge and can help people at all levels with their experience whether it be mountain or road bike help they need. Another nice aspect about them is that the owners are a couple so they can help both men and women. Great shop, highly recommended!

Great attitude towards the bicycle shopper. They let me test ride bikes there until I was satisfied that I had found what I wanted. The staff was supportive and attentive even though I had a hard time making up my mind. They also are one of the few shops in Oklahoma to carry Dahon folding bikes. I had a positive experience there.

Met the Owner and his wife. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I just came in for a spoke wrench and he freely shared his wisdom to help with a project bike Im working on. This will be my go to bike shop for all my needs.

After visiting all the bike shops in Norman we found Als to have the best prices and no pressure feel in their store. Ordered a new mountain bike for my wife here. They were super friendly and helped my wife find the right bike for her. I also had a new derailer put on my bike and was pleased with the cost. Support small business, specifically Als bike ahop in Norman. Best bike shop in Norman.

Great to have a bike shop that has a person with knowledge and willing to help. My go to shop for sure.

The prices are reasonable, but dont expect anything with any sense of haste. Its taken them a week just to replace my rear tire and tube.Last time I needed something similar done, I went to Buchanan (conveniently on Buchanan Street) and picked it up two hours later. Its a shame they were on vacation when this happened.It doesnt help that the store is staffed with overly pretentious and unhelpful staff. I was going to buy a new lock while there, but I ended up going elsewhere and saving $20 on the same lock.

I was on a time sensitive repair and they fit me in and took care of me

Two days ago, my back tire was out of its socket so I managed to put it back in its place and give it some air unfortunately the inner tube was busted so I took it To this location And it would finish with an hour Im glad to ride my bike again. Unfortunately today Both tire and the new innertube have a really big hole and unable to go to Als so I took my bike OU bicycle repair shop got done quicker 3% cheaper.

It was called Als bike a few years ago, Normans best bike shop. The price is mid-range, but the quality is top-notch. If the car is broken, you can come back and repair it for free, although there is almost no chance of it being broken
