Havent been here in years, but had a chance to stop by this past weekend. I went with the medium, and had a combination of Coconut, Snickers, and Strawberry Cheesecake. I had no idea how it would turn out, but each flavor complimented each other very well. Melted a bit fast, but this is Oklahoma, so. Highly recommend for a frozen delight.

Came here for the first time with some close friends and none of us were disappointed! Walking in we were greeting with a friendly and patient staff member that quickly took our order.The gelato was amazing, plain and simple. As close to authentic as you can get with gelato in the States.Highly recommended and thank you for the experience!

Lots of choices and theyre constantly changing flavors. They really need to update the FB or something more often with which flavors are available. Been waiting/asking months for the chocolate habanero. The chocolate scuro and sea salt caramel are tasty, and the portions are bigger than they look. 3 of us got the grande and none of us could finish. It was enough for 2 desserts. The atmosphere is calm with the dim lighting and comfy seating. Sign up for rewards with them for discounts and points. Downside of their program is it doesnt matter if you buy 1 or 10 or their size, you get the same amount of points and you can only get them once in a 24hr period, so they cant ring them up as separate orders. Weird point system that doesnt really reward accordingly.

There is no possible way to leave this place unhappy or unfulfilled unless you are the kind of person that hates puppies.I have found complete and utter euphoria in the form of little plastic spoons and paper cups.Specifically, this is a family owned business. They create the mind blowing recipes and blends in house...this is a true craft. The owner is personable and witty. Plenty of seating in a bistro meets coffee shop vibe.

We came expecting awesome gelato but it was very disappointing. I tried 5 different flavors and any of those were something not even tasty. The gelato is ok, but thats all. Nothing to compare with good Italian gelato.

This place is awesome! Really friendly, and they have tons of flavors. Even if you are the only one in a group who doesnt get gelato, it is still a great place to be. excellent hours too. If you left this place a bad review, you either are thinking of a different place, accidentally posted a bad review, or it is your fault. And dont complain about the prices. They are a local business that handmakes awesome gelato and has to pay their employees. And they havent raised prices just because of the pandemic, THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!!

Gelato is fresh and made in house, it is the perfect consistency and texture. I studied abroad in Italy and Im constantly on the look out for authentic Italian fare. Il Dolce Gelato has a great combination classic Italian flavors and flavors for an American palate. 100% recommend!

This place is awesome! Super easy to find, great prices, yummy flavors, easy sampling before your order, friendly staff :) We each ordered a medium size gelato and each tried different flavors. I think the vote was unanimous, that Vanilla Bean was by far the best, although Cookies n Cream close. All around a great spot in Norman to stop in for a frozen treat!

The staff is always friendly and ready to help when choosing a flavor. They let you sample any flavor you want and they always seem to be patient. I love coming to this place! It is fun chatting with friends in their seats and enjoying a good snack!

This gelato is to die for. It is like no other. My husband likes several flavors, especially the different chocolates. I cant get away from the BlackBerry. It makes me feel like Im a kid again: way out in the backyard eating berries off the vine. Heavenly.

Certainly a delayed review since I first came here 2 months ago, but this place is fantastic! I dont think Id ever had gelato before, and given that I live right across the street from the building strip that this shop is in, Id been wanting to come here for a while, and finally did! It having been my first time here, I decided to go all out and get the largest size, which can consist of 4 different flavors; I remember 2 of them being either blackberry or raspberry and a chocolate flavor of some sort. While I cant remember what all I had, I do remember that I loved all 4 flavors! Since I can just walk here due to how close I live, I should make it a thing to come here at least once or twice a month. Such an amazing and inviting place on the west side of town! If you havent been here before, try it out; I guarantee youll love it!

Love all the gelato flavors and the fact that they let you try as many flavors as it takes to make a delicious decision. My favorite is the Affogato...or you can get a shot of espresso to pour over your gelato at the end if you would prefer. Quaint little place with great, fresh gelato and a warm ambience. The unicorn flavor is a go-to for the smaller adults, but no one will judge you if you want to try some whimsy too.

Il Dolce Gelato is a favorite place for our family. We used to go all the time when the store was in Moore, but now they are in Norman. We were in Norman, so I had to go.Chocolate habanero is my favorite, but they didnt have it today. I did get...to go...three flavors to a pint... for our family...Fried Peaches, Tiramisu, Chocolate Scurro, coconut, salted caramel,toffee, biscotti, vanilla bean and strawberry.I hope they will consider opening a second store in MWC. Much closer.

Offers delicious gelato ranging from amazingly complex and fresh-tasting fruit flavors, to rich chocolate, to more unusual flavors like tiramisu and cinnamon roll (my personal favorite). This is one of the places that makes me happy I live in Norman. Its local and cosmopolitan at the same time.

Really delicious gelato-- in fact, its the best I have had! Highly recommend (even when its cold outside). The mascarpone is my favorite flavor, but dont take it all!

Quick, great service with amazing gelato. They will even get creative and steam the gelato with hot chocolate or blend espresso into gelato to make a superior frapicino. You wont be disappointed.

Best dessert in Norman, nay, Oklahoma! Weve had gelato in multiple states, not to mention in different regions of Italy. This stuff is the real deal. In fact, it is better than quite a few of the gelato vendors in Italy. All gelato is not created equal, and Il Dolce is at the top of the list.
